Fantastic experience: My crown fell out on Tuesday night so i called Wednesday morning and by Wednesday afternoon my crown was back in place with no pain. Doctors are great at Aspire Dental in Mattapoisett as is the entire staff. They are very progressive so you get the latest technology to perform dental work more quickly and with minimized inconvenience and pain. Thumbs up for Aspire! I recommend you try them for all your dental needs.

They were patient, professional, and caring, always asking if I was okay. 24 hours later I have no bleeding or pain! Both teams, in Westport and Mattapoisett are excellent!

Fantastic experience: Cracked a front veneer on mother's day. Aspire was able to see me on an emergency basis, worked with my insurance company, and arranged to treat my tooth. The office is gorgeous with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a tranquil view of the forest as you relax in the dental chair. Alexis dental assistant very capable and kind. Dr. Sathvick has modern equipment, everything is made in the office. No such thing as waiting for a temporary to be made. No being sent to other dentists, he does all surgeries. Big city sophistication in the county. I recommend this dentist and I'm thankful to have found him.

The staff was wonderful about easing my nerves by thoroughly answering all of my questions and making sure I was comfortable before the procedure started. The procedure was professionally done. The front desk staff and office manager are friendly and know their stuff when it comes to insurance. I definitely recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Aspire Dental Care has low cost annual dental plans for people like me who don't have dental insurance. My first appointment included a full set of X-rays, a thorough cleaning, and an examination. I'll go back in 6 months for my second cleaning and exam. I also decided to have minor Cosmetics done in a couple weeks. I'm looking forward to it.

Negative experience: I am honestly surprised at how many positive reviews are here. This office WAS amazing when it was owned by Dr Muldoon, but ever since ownership changed to Aspire, the service has completely changed for the worst. I had at least 4 bi-annual cleaning visits where the dentist didn’t even do an examination and instead I was only seen by the hygienist. Even if it was only a 2 minute exam, Dr. Muldoon would visit with you every time you came to the office; in my opinion, that kind of service is necessary to build trust with your doctor. But my final cleaning visit was the last straw; every single original employee that had stayed on when the business changed hands had since left, my hygienist (of 25 years!) being one of the last holdouts. She finally resigned, and the replacement hygienist they scheduled me with did a horrendous job with the bi-annual cleaning. She completed a service in 15 minutes that normally takes 30-45, and when I left the offices I had *visible* plaque left on my teeth. That level of completely unacceptable service finally pushed me to another office. It just feels like the business went from a family-centered establishment where the patients mattered to one that aims to churn through as many patients in a day as possible, and I will not keep giving my business to an office like that.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at this office for many years under Dr. Muldoon's care. Kerrie has done a fine job with the "routine maintenance" part of things as well for a long time now. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful. Even after moving a bit farther away some years back, I decided to stick with them. I've had fillings, a couple of crowns, etc., and have never had a bad experience there. I wanted to mention that my recent experience with Dr. Seshadri was really great. I had a tooth's particularly large filling replaced with a crown. His very precise new technique for the numbing part of the procedure was really appreciated, and I never felt a thing. The Cerec machine that makes crowns a one-session event is a fabulous feature. I'll be headed back there for another crown in a couple of weeks, and for one more some time afterward. Update (3/16): I've been back recently for those other two crowns. The level of service was equally as good. As my teeth are temperature-sensitive, I began to feel a bit of discomfort, which was handled quickly with additional novocaine. So still no problem there. This last time, another one of the Dental Assistants saw me just sitting alone for a bit while waiting for the next stage of the process, and came over to check on me and offer some water. A nice touch, I thought. By the way, all of the crowns look fine, and work great. I don't recall the name of the Assistant who worked with Dr. S on the crowns, but she was great as well, and helped me feel comfortable and reassured. 12/4: My treatment plan is finally completed...yay!! I was back to have the fillings replaced in four teeth. They were all located together, so it made sense to do it in a single visit. Dr. Chopra did a fine job, and I didn't feel a thing. Kelsey (sp?) did a great job chairside as well. 4/1/24 - Back for another cleaning/exam today. Particular props to the competent, thorough, and personable Lydia!

Negative experience: Caution: This office in Mattapoisett has no business lecturing patients on Blood Pressure, Period! It is entirely one thing to take a blood pressure for an invasive procedure such as an extraction or implant for risk purposes, however, there should be no need to take a blood pressure for a simple cleaning. Some of us have what is considered "white coat hypertension" whereby upon entering any medical office anxiety and blood pressure do rise as a result. Additionally, if this dental office is that intent on monitoring BP for its patients then they should have a written policy in-place and it should be clearly explained. And that policy should include whether they will proceed with dental care should a high reading be displayed. Most patients that have a documented history of hypertension (and that is many people) are under the care of an actual medical doctor and in my case I have a Harvard educated medical doctor who specializes in hypertension. If this dental office is that worried about risk then they should have a complete medical history which lists family history of heart disease, stroke or any other BP related risks. Having a dental hygienist take a BP through a wrist monitor is inappropriate and certainly they should not be sanctioned to lecture patients on potential medical issues unrelated to BP. Its embarrassing and unprofessional--dental hygienists do not have the experience or credentials to perform blood pressure mitigation.
