Holt Family Dental Care

Negative experience: I am posting this for the local dentist owners to see. I was a new patient this week while you were not in the office. The staff and dentist from Iowa City were all great. But the 360 jaw x-ray did not work and when you call the number on your card there is no way to speak to your office directly. Having a centralized phone answering service may be convenient for you but it is aggravating to me. Honestly, I plan to get started with a different dental office now.

Fantastic experience: This is a clean, efficient, organized, and efficient dental practice which all of us in Fairfield can be proud of. Also, they have digital modeling for tooth crowns and other restorative work.

My husband and I have been going to Holt Family Dental for almost 7 yrs ever since we moved to Fairfield from Alaska and would recommend them to everyone !! Dr Theresa is the BEST !! She fixes my teeth… is soooo gentle … so friendly and nice !! Thank you to all at Holt Family Dental Clinic !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Negative experience: These people do not value your time or experience as a client. I was called the day before my scheduled cleaning, scheduled months out, to tell me they are not only cancelling my appointment but they have no time to reschedule my appointment but for months out. If you're a Medicaid recipient, they will rush you through your dental work with little to no concern of the results or experience for you as a patient. It is clear you are not worth their time and care if you have Medicaid. These people do not respect their clients, nor do they honor their appointments or offer reasonable solutions when they cancel last minute. The only silver lining in my experience with them is their hygienist, who is a genuinely kind, caring professional. Otherwise, the lack of respect and genuine concern for their clients is a clear problem, feigned smiles and kindness aside. They have zero concern for the result of their practices if you're a Medicaid patient, nor will they respect your time or honor their appointments. You're just another copay to them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mike has been my dentist for the past 30 years plus. Great experience every time. Always enjoy visiting with him. And Kellie does an outstanding job of cleaning. Just a wonderful all around experience when I visit the office. Would highly recommend!!

Negative experience: Shout out to the doctors I haven’t even met yet, they’re five stars. But the receptionist at Dr. Holt’s office? Not so much. They won’t take any appointments, even in an emergency, and just tell you to go see another doctor a few blocks away.
