Fantastic experience: Dr. Angie performed the most thorough exam I have ever had. This is saying a lot, since I come from a family of great dental hygienists. She took extra time to explain what was going on tooth by tooth.

Any question I was concerned with the staff took care of immediately. Most of there staff have been there for years. That tells you a whole lot about the office environment and the real patient experience. My only suggestion if they wear name tags. Love to be able to address them by name. Fantastic experience: I wrote the below post a bit ago. Since then I returned for a deep teeth cleaning and Katie is as fabulous as everyone at Dental Arts of Tellico Village. That was the BEST and most thorough teeth cleaning ever. I will never go anywhere else if I am blessed to be able to continue my dental care there. Best experience ever at a dentist office. Everyone is so warm, friendly, and professional, yet personable. It was like a family of caring, knowledgeable professionals, and I'm so happy I found them. Dr. Angie Burns is truly amazing. She took time with me to thoroughly explain things relating to my situation and answered my questions, so I could understand the plan of action necessary to achieve the best outcome.

I get detailed instructions for after care (including written instructions in case you forget what you’re told, like me ) and practical tips on continuing care. They handle insurance with ease and always know how much is left to spend for the year and clearly communicate that to me.

Negative experience: I had a very bad experience getting my teeth cleaned. I was called that morning to have a cleaning done because they had a cancellation. When they called I had just gotten up. I have several health issues and a severely compromised immune system. That day I had oral sores on my inner lip and cheeks . I stated that I didn’t want ex-rays done. The thought of shoving cardboard in addition to regular cleaning was a step I didn’t want to take. The hygienist was very rude telling me they wouldn’t clean my teeth unless I had ex-rays. The dentists decided to proceed but I was informed that I couldn’t return for treatment unless I booked a separate appointment for ex-rays first. It would have been so much easier to show some compassion and agree that on my next appointment I would get the ex-rays done . Clearly this practice is more concerned about getting money from their patients than making accommodations for their health needs.

Fantastic experience: Always friendly and caring. A real "family" dentistry. Between Dr John and Dr Angie, they have taken care of our dental needs for almost 14 years. They are family, the staff is very courteous and caring.

Fantastic experience: The entire staff at Dental Arts of Tellico Village was amazing. My 92 year-old mother was having a pain in her tooth and they worked her in the very next day. The dental assistant was so kind and patient while treating my elderly mother. Dr. Burns was above amazing and took such good care of her. The charges were reasonable, and the climate of this office was very professional and compassionate. It is clear to me why they are very well loved in this community. I would highly recommend this dental practice to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I recently had my first visit to Dental Arts. As you will see, my remarks will be very positive. The first thing I noticed was that I had a minimum wait time. Most folks can tell you stories of going to a doctor or dentist and waiting forever to be seen. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The dentist was very professional and took the time to review my situation and what lay ahead for me. Even though I have issues that will take time to resolve, I feel that i am in good hands.

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth cleaned today at Dr. Burns's office. The technician was extremely gentle and had x-rays taken as well. No problem there either in years past with other dentists my teeth always hurt the day after having them cleaned not so with Dr. Angie's office I'm not a good dental patient, but today's visit was pleasant
