Fantastic experience: Dr Bares has helped me tremendously! He’s honest and worked extremely hard to make my partial fit and work the way it’s supposed to. Also, he’d like a patient to keep their teeth instead of just pulling them, without truly looking at the x-rays to explain things. Then the patient can make the final decision. He’s great!

Fantastic experience: Been coming here for a long time. I recently had and issue that was diagnosed and dealt with within an hour of my visit and i was able to resume normal activities (chewing comfortably). Another great thing about Forreston Dental is that they will call you before your scheduled visit if there's a cancelation.

Negative experience: I went for tooth extraction because I was in lots of pain but instead they handed me a treatment plan for next month and told me that I have to wait a month. Charge me out of pocket 144$ with my insurance coverage of 80% of visit and no body even checked my tooth. I would say worst experience ever. How can someone live with so much pain for a month acknowledging that I haven’t eaten for a week, just use protein drink.

Fantastic experience: Kelley explained everything before she started. She calmed any fears I may have had. She made my experience painless. I'll see her again in 6 months. I felt like smiling the rest of the day to show off my pearly whites. Thanks Kelley.

Fantastic experience: Had a toothache and wanted to get it taken care of before the holiday weekend. My appointment was at 1230. I was in the dental chair just before my scheduled appointment. Had X-ray taken, the dentist came in and looked at the tooth. About 10 minutes later I was given a shot to numb the tooth. Shortly after the Dr was working on the tooth. By 110 I was getting ready to pay and go home. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone. They treated me well.

Fantastic experience: Dr Haraldson has renewed my faith in dentists. I wouldn't have guessed she has been in dentistry for 30 years, but she has and is very good. She's helped me make decisions by answering questions and explaining things well. So far, painless, which is always a plus.

Fantastic experience: Had a broken filling so I called and was given an appointment right away. Came in and was put in a chair with only a short wait. Filling couldn't be replaced so a crown was suggested. So basically I had a new tooth in less than 2hrs. All painless. Extremely happy with the whole experience.

Fantastic experience: I am a fairly new patient and am so happy with this practice! The staff are all excellent, friendly, caring and super helpful! The environment is great, appointments are on time and it's an all around great experience!

Negative experience: This office is the epitome of HIPAA violations. There are NO WALLS between exam rooms. Patients can hear and SEE everything that’s going on with other patients. I heard patient pain levels, medications they were taking, drilling, tapping, as well as the “cordial” interactions and conversations between the staff and patients. Loud, raucous laughter, without regard for others who may be struggling with their PRIVATE procedure. The dr spent 3.5 minutes with me and over ten minutes putting an estimate together. When someone FINALLY returned, I was extremely stressed and in obvious pain. I asked if there were ANY rooms with walls and was told there was ONE and it was in use. So my post-exam consult was conducted in the LOBBY. Once again, in violation of HIPPA regulations. It was humiliating, frightening, traumatic and UNACCEPTABLE. They did try to upsell some “care plan” (FOUR TIMES) and in doing so, misquoted the price of it. When I had specific questions regarding coverage, I was handed a brochure. Not helpful. I’m sure there’s kickback for selling these plans. There was little to no decorum that is not only dictated, but required by HIPPA that goes on in this office.

Positive experience: Their staff is friendly. Only issue I have is when I go every 6 months they want me to fill out paperwork (which I did on my last appt) and take x rays. As a former dental assistant you’re only to get x rays every year not every 6 months. You can never just check in and sit till you’re called. Very annoying!

Negative experience: Last two times have been a disaster there. No communication between staff

Fantastic experience: I had to have an RC and my dentist no longer did them. So I went to Forreston Dental. I've never had a painless root canal before! (I've had 2, at 2 other dentists) Dr. Patel was absolutely wonderful, and he was so fast and efficient. I was done in no time, and on my way home. Even the following days, I had no pain or discomfort. I'm am seriously thinking of switching everything to Forreston Dental. Thank you!

Some of the most professional, friendly, caring, kind, just amazing people you could ever hope to meet. Then the dentists, I could open every languages thesaurus and look up every synonym for Incredible out there and still not have enough. Best dental care I have ever had.

Negative experience: I've been a faithful dental patient for over 20 years with Dr. Ferris until he sold his practice. When I needed a filling or crown, I was recommended to this establishment through an acquaintance. Initially, I was pleased with the service. The staff clearly explained why a crown was necessary rather than a filling, and I appreciated that the crown would be produced in-house, saving me additional visits. However, my experience deteriorated by my third visit. During the adjustment by Dr. Kathryn, the dental tool caught and chipped my tooth in front of the crown being worked on. Instead of taking responsibility, the dentist suggested I needed another crown on a tooth that had been perfectly fine before this incident. When I spoke with Dr. Scott about what happened, he dismissed my concerns and had this conversation in front of other patients in the waiting area, which was unprofessional. I've since learned that a relative who visited Dr. Scott for a tooth extraction was reportedly denied sedation with inappropriate comments made about their tattoos. This apparent pattern of unprofessional conduct is concerning. Based on these experiences, I will not be returning to this practice and feel compelled to share this information to help others make informed decisions about their dental care.

I owe them $54 for 2 extra X. Rays that the doctor requested. My opinion just another way to get extra money.

Positive experience: I hadn’t been to a dentist for about three years. I have a sore tooth so called Forreston Dental. Thanks to a cancellation, I got in the same day. Had teeth cleaned, full X-rays, fluoride treatment, the whole nine yards. Everyone was pleasant and professional. Was examined by Dr. Patel. He said no cavities, just a couple teeth to monitor, including the sore one! So I went home and still have a sore tooth. UPDATE: Got back in for a root canal two days later! No pain at all and Dr. Patel did it in about 30 minutes. All is well.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased being a first time patient. I was experiencing at lot of pain and they were able to get me in right away to have my tooth pulled. Dr Patel and his staff was very friendly. It would be worth the drive to come here from Rock falls IL. Dr Patel kept asking me during the procedure if I was ok. It shows he really cares about his patients. Front desk staff were very friendly as well.
