Negative experience: Was not at all kind or patient with a child that was in foster care. The child was literally shaking by the time he was done lecturing her.

Fantastic experience: Dr Hubbard did a great job with my new dentures. I needed a couple of adjustments and was greeted with smiling faces, by everyone, each time I came in. This is a perfect place for someone who needs dentures. I would highly recommend this dentist. Dr Hubbard has a great bedside manner. Thank you. JR

Fantastic experience: I love this place! The waiting room is so nice and cozy and everyone was so cheerful and kind. I had to get two teeth pulled and they kept me well informed in what they were doing and made sure I was doing ok. I have always been nervous when it comes to going to the dentist but not here.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been going here for several years now and have nothing negative to say. My cleanings and fillings have all went really well. I recently switched my kids over from a local pediatric dentist and they did great with them. Even my autistic child with extreme dental anxiety did really great with Dr Hubbard! He and his staff are always very friendly too.

Negative experience: I took my son to Hubbard. He was petty and rude as was his assistant. There was a concern about his blood pressure which was high bc he was very nervous. There could be no conversation about it because they were over talking and refused to let me ask any questions. The assistant kept repeating 2 sentences talking to me like I was a slow learning child. Hubbard came out like a bouncer asking what was going on. Ah, your assistant is repeating 2 sentences over and over and I am frustrated not getting any real answers. Hubbard could only say, so what do you want me to do. Knowing he said they wouldn't treat him bc of his blood pressure. But he kept saying so what do you want me to do. It was weird and uncomfortable so we left. The next day I went to another dentist who sent us straight to an oral surgeon. We thought he had a broken tooth but he had broken tooth roots in 2 teeth. Those teeth needed to be surgically removed. He was in severe pain, there was an abcess and he had not put him on antibiotics. Thank God, that his blood pressure was high that day. He was being protected from Hubbard who was going to pull one tooth and who knows what complications might have happened. Hubbard was not able to read the xray to diagnose the problem. It took the other dentist 5 seconds to see the problem and identify the fact he needed a specialist and put him on antibiotics. The rich part is that 2 days after our visit Hubbard sent me a letter telling us to seek a new dentist. I am not his patient, my son was a new patient on his 2nd visit and my husband has been his patient for 3 years. Never mind he was not present for any of this he was still fired by Hubbard. He said we had poor communication. Like I would ever set foot in his office again. He stood in his doorway with his arms crossed and one leg crossed in front of the other like he was posing for a senior picture. One thing I noticed here is how long the posts are of unhappy clients. That is because when its bad time is taken to express the situation to help people make a good decision.

Fantastic experience: The porcelain molar replacement was the most precise, perfect dental work that deserves recognition. I was a little nervous but very pleased with the end result. Thanks, Dr. Hubbard.

They answered all my questions and helped me make the right decisions and put me all back together better than humpty dumptys handlers could ever imagine! They were kind, helpful, obviously knowledgeable and funny... which is important in stressful situations, which helped my anxiety about the whole thing. Negative experience: I have seen this dentist a few times. The 1st time he seemed helpful and kind. But this last visit he was in a bad mood. I was a little nervous coming in but the assistant was very kind and we had a great conversation about random things. I felt calm and ready. When Hubbard came in to test if I was numb, I admit I did flinch some when I felt pain and he got really upset and he was close to face and said that he only works on calm patients. He said rudely that I could either go home and come back another day or laughing gas or oral surgeon, He said rudely and mean that me being anxious is causing me not to be numb. I then agreed to have laughing gas. Once again I felt calm and relaxed. He tested the tooth and I slowly raised my left hand to show I felt pain like he asked me to and he loudly put down the tool and rudely said “well let’s call that a day!” And walked out. Zero patience, Zero empathy. The assistant said you do have an infection and that can cause you not to numb and she went to get a prescription from him. I held in crying until I got to the car.

Fantastic experience: great place! it took only 30 minutes for a check up, cost a lot of money but they all do.

Negative experience: I have not personally been to Dr Hubbard but after the experience my husband just experienced with him I would never go there! My husband went in for fillings & was told if he felt any pain to raise his hand. My husband is a big guy & can tolerate pain but the dctr started drilling & was hitting a nerve! My husband raised his hand to let the dctr know for which the dctr acted annoyed! He gave my hubby a little more pain med & started in again & was being extremely rough & hit the nerve hard & my hubby jumped which caused the dctr to jump & the dctr got pissed & yelled at my husband & stormed out of the room! When he returned he reprimanded my hubby for jumping & told him he couldn't do that again or he couldn't work the rest of the day! My hubby told him he hit the nerve what did he expect after he told him it was hurting! The dctr hurriedly finished the job then talked to my hubby like he was a child, like my husband had acted like a child! I shutter at the thought of sending a child to this man! He would ruin a child's experience with a dentist forever!

Negative experience: I’m not making this post because I think Dr Hubbard is a bad person. It’s just something I need to say. Many years ago i was deployed in an active war zone. My column was just on a routine type thing and my humvee hit an IED. Several friends died as a result, hell I should have. While I was out an enemy fighter tried to rip out some of my teeth that were silver colored…not even silver. Thankfully he was dispatched, but I had damage. The Army dentist extracted my teeth shortly afterwards and the pain (both mental and physical) caused me to have a serious fear of dentist and basically anyone to touch my mouth. I tried to convey my fear to Dr Hubbard today. He really didn’t care. Maybe just a bad day, but when I told him I was terrified he said “you’re actually making my job easier.” Talking about my fear. I heard, “your fear makes my job easier.” I wouldn’t have gone to a dentist if I wasn’t in unbearable pain…Dr Hubbard barely gave me the time of day. I realize he doesn’t know my past, but he didn’t give a crap enough to ask. He just said he was leaving the room to let the nurse explain…anything can be said about this interaction, but I’m a good read on people and my read was, he just didn’t care. I hope I’m wrong, maybe just a bad day for him and people get to have bad days. But this bad day…well I’m still in pain and if dentists vow to do no harm, that vow was broken today, bad day or not. In fairness. The ladies there were just so nice, I couldn’t say anything bad about them at all. So very sweet.

Life through another lesson at me when my upper denture broke smack down the middle I was minutes away from using Gorilla glue on them when someone suggested Hubbard dental. I got an appointment sooner then I thought I would and dropped them off in The morning and they were ready that afternoon! Everyone was very nice and professional. Fantastic experience: I set up an appointment and went in the next day. I was treated we respect and kindness. When I went in after signing some papers the nurse was very nice treated me very kindly and explained everything in detail. The doctor was kind and very professional. The both treating me with respect and made small talk and made me feel comfortable and made sure that I was there #1 concern for the time that I was in there. I was not in there very long ( like 35 minutes at most) and they all did their jobs perfectly. If anyone in looking for a dentist then this is the perfect place.

Fantastic experience: Normally I’m not a huge fan of the dentist, but this was quite far the best experience I’ve had yet! I’ve been going to Hubbard since I’ve had teeth and had plenty of the nurses clean them but yesterday was something else. I had a blonde woman help me out and she was very communicative and helpful, nice and understanding, and an overall great person! I had an amazing time talking to her and hope she has a great day! Fantastic experience: Hubbard Dental Carr is an awesome dental office. You are met at front door with a friendly greeting & COVID temperature check by either Donnetta or Addie. Dr. Robert Hubbard and his professional staff are the best. Recently, I broke a tooth & filling and they saw me without an appointment and then scheduled me for a temporary crown followed 3 days later with a permanent porcelain crown. All very professionally done with minimal pain. Dr. Robert even checked on me at home to see if I was doing okay. Highly recommend Hubbard Dental Care for your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hubbard knows what he is doing! And he's not out to rip you off and do a bunch of unnecessary things to make extra $. He's also not quick to recommend you to other professionals. He can do many things that I didn't know dentists could even do in their offices! And he does them well! He does not pressure you into doing anything or at a certain time if it is not urgent. Him and his assistants are very kind and understanding! The ladies at the front desk also always greet you with a kind smile and are more than happy to help you! All in all, this is an office that I would happily recommend to anyone who is looking for a good quality dentist that isn't out to screw you lol! And I've been to several that caused me to lose hope in good ones, but here we are and I am very pleased as a patient!!!

Positive experience: I really appreciate that they could see me on short notice. That being said, I find it odd that the dentist did not introduce himself, nor did he introduced a young man who was with him. Some random young man is just standing around, watching the dentist look at my teeth. I had to ask them who they were. That strikes me as odd. I have never met these people before. It would be a lot more personable to introduce yourself and anyone who is in the waiting room with you.

Negative experience: My daughter chipped the back side of her tooth with a spoon and after a day it was still very sensitive everytime she ate. We made an appointment to go in and after explaining to the dental assistant what happened the dentist came in and explained to me that the ridges on her teeth are normal for her age. I explained to him that the ridges are not why we were there and it was actually a chip on the backside of her tooth that was causing the pain. He sat there with a blank stare and after an uncomfortable silence asked me what I would like to do. I asked him what he normally does to treat this and he said she'll just have to deal with the pain, It'll go away (it did not and she has been treated elsewhere). I asked him if it was a nerve that was exposed and he sat there again like he didnt understand the question He said how would you like me to treat this and I said well you're the dentist and he said well what would you like me to do? I was so confused and stated "I don't understand what's happening here." The very kind assistant then jumped in and asked him to have another look. He did and basically said she'll have to deal with it. His bed side manner has never been very good but after this experience of him being extremely rude when all I did was let him know that what he was referring to was not the reason we were there, we will never return to this guy and will surely never suggest anyone to him. My daughter who is 10 was even confused when we left there. She asked why he was being rude and I let her know that behavior is not normal and a good dentist would listen to our concerns and would never treat another human being that way. A good experience in a dental office is worth the drive to Fayetteville. Don't waste your time here. Don't bother calling me I will not remove this review and I will not be returning.

Negative experience: I was honestly too scared to leave a review after seeing the way they handle and reply to reviews but I had a very similar experience to mostly all of the bad reviews. I shed one silent tear and was holding onto my jeans very tightly because getting shots in my gums has always been the scariest part. I held my mouth open, I stayed still and did everything that was asked of me. I asked if the shots were done and the nurse and dr Hubbard both left the room leaving me confused. The nurse returns and says Dr Hubbard is willing to "give me another chance to act right" and I was immediately so upset I wasn't even thinking about the shots anymore . He returns and tells me I will be leaving his office with my tooth still intact if I can't "act right" I didn't know a silent nervous tear and squeezing my jeans was considered not "acting right" but after being very rude and saying more than what I wrote in the review (he said so many rude things I couldn't even write them all) so I say nothing and agree to comply??? When I didn't even know what I had done wrong , he finishes the shots , pulls the tooth, says "good job" and he was gone . As soon as they started bringing my chair back up where I can sit up, I start bawling because I've NEVER been spoken to this by anyone in the medical field. So Dr Hubbard and the nurse took turns coming back in and asking what they did that was so rude and after I was able to quote everything they said over and over , they'd get quiet and leave and send someone else back there to harass me (I was begging to just pay and leave) they came back 5 or 6 times "what did we do , what did we do" I assume they thought I was just loopy and emotional from the gas but the way I was spoken to and the things that were said to me are things I will NEVER forget. His tone , his attitude , his complete lack of sympathy or empathy is heartbreaking.They also tried to say "we told you, you didn't have to do it if you didn't want to !" Over and over when I kept saying I did want it done I just DIDNT WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE DIRT ! I would not recommend ANYONE go there if they are even slightly nervous about dental procedures. finally he came and told me very sarcastically "since your experience wasn't satisfactory we're not gonna charge you for todays visit" so even though I didn't have to pay; the way that man acts is quite literally inhumane and heartless . Enjoy replying to my review and banning me from your office because I would never subject myself to that kind of verbal abuse ever again . this is not just bad service , it's heartless and verbally abusive . Imagine paying someone to treat you this way ?

Negative experience: Saw him last year, nice guy BUT Very rough, cut my cheek and lip, dropped a tool on my face during a filling, teeth he “fixed” hurt when they had never hurt before. Does unnecessary Dental work. I stopped going after my second trip, had more scheduled, but I saw a different dentist who looked over my X-rays and at my teeth and said there were NO cavities that needed filled. If I had went to this other dentist first I could’ve saved myself hundreds of dollars, pain and time.

Fantastic experience: The dentist is very knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate how he explained what I need and didn't try to get work I don't need done. Honesty goes a long way with me and these people are that. The office is clean and the staff amazing. I would recommend Dr. Hubbard to everyone! Thanks again and I look forward to my next visit.

Negative experience: My 20 year old daughter left an honest review of her treatment from this facility, getting her the option of either taking down her review or not coming back. Now apparently because she has her own thoughts and feelings, my 14 year old daughter is now banned from the facility as well. Red flags all over the place. Just wow.

Fantastic experience: First, let me start by saying I am terrified of dentists. Having said that, I had the most pleasant experience I have ever had at the dentist office, since I was a child, at Hubbard dental. The staff was super kind and put me at ease straight away. In fact, I talked books nonstop with Doctor‘s assistant and another assistant that came in and was completely relaxed before I even got my x-ray done. The lady who did the x-ray was new at working the machine but was very gentle and really sweet and we got it done quickly. I told her on the way out of the x-ray room that she’d have the hang of it in no time. The doc came in to go over my x-ray with me and tell me what treatment plan he was recommending, and I told him that that was the treatment plan I had had in mind when I came into the office, so it was easy peasy. He was very gentle when he checked my teeth, which was appreciated. And then told me to schedule my first appointment at the desk on the way out to get started. They went over every detail of how my appointment would go when I came back and how my second appointment would go and so on. I absolutely loved the care I received here and will probably never go to any other dental office if I can help it. Thank you all!

Fantastic experience: Never in my life, have I had a dentist that actually made me completely comfortable when I have an issue. And the first dentist I schedule my routine cleanings in advance instead of only when I have a problem. Also, Addy and Donita at the front desk and insurance claims are fantastic as well! All around great experience with them! Highly recommend!!

My kids range from 8-16 years old and Dr. Hubbard and Staff do an awesome job with all of us. They've done great with cleanings and a couple cavities I needed fixed. Negative experience: I want to give 0 stars but can't. " Do not go here, Bad customer sevice, cliquesh staff !!!!!" You can not ask any questions about the insurance with the staff at the office otherwise they'll block your phone number, lock the door on you ( eventhough you had an appointment and it rained that day, no one want to explain what's going on). One of the ladys there was named Adee ( Finance / Insurance lady ), she was the one who made a report to the Dentist and made up stories. My husband had never even talked with the doctor and they sent him a letter to our PO Box ( we don't go to the post office everyday) and the reason they can banned him because he asked some question regarding our dental insurance. This office when I and my 1st son visitied they didn't have any hygienist ( but off course they will charge you money for the cleaning) and one lady sat next too me and counting all my teeth and pretended to clean my teeth after that the Doctor came to check my teeth. This happened in 2021, But I'm to busy with life and kept forgeting to write a review of this Dental office. " Do not waste your money, Not a professional Dentistry !! Please Go somewhere else guys"

Fantastic experience: Being one individual that has not a lot of experience with dentists, except when I was in the military, and they weren’t kind, and I am NOT a fan of mouth pain, (thru the Grace of heaven above, my teeth have always been in good condition) Dr. Robert is knowledgeable of his craft, and seems to take the right approach. I’ve had 2 visits for cleaning, and he is sensitive to the patients pain level, and will work with you on that. He and his staff have been professional and kind, and do what seems to this inexperienced patient, a good job. Will see him again in 3 months…

Fantastic experience: Staff was very kind and sympathetic of my pain . They worked me in very quick and was in and out with no more pain. So thankful for the great service and kindness. Fantastic experience: First visit with Dr. Hubbard. Very prompt professional experience for exam with both assistants and doctor. Wanted night guard also, scanned by doctor and was ready within 24 hours.

Negative experience: Typically, I don’t do many reviews unless the services rendered were either exceptional or adverse. Unfortunately, in this case, the latter was true. This was my second visit to Dr. Hubbard’s office after having relocated to the area back in January, and like my husband, my first visit was positive. However, I recently turned 65, which meant my insurance changed. I’m now on Medicare A & B, as well as Medigap through AARP as supported through United Healthcare. This morning, approximately 2 hours before my visit, I received a text from Dr. Hubbard's office requiring my insurance update. When I provided it, I was told they were not in the network. I’d remembered my insurance advisor saying as far as dental was concerned; it didn’t matter if the dentist was in or out of the network, because both In-Network and Out-of-Network were $0 copay for preventative cleanings, x-rays and fluoride up to $1000 annually. I brought my policy documents to my appointment, and immediately the receptionist waved me off, refused to look at the papers and started telling me Dr. Hubbard’s policy is that if your insurance is “not In-Network” you pay for your visit up front. I protested saying, “But my policy tells me I’m covered in full.” Then I was told by the receptionist, “When they sell you the policy, they tell you it’s gold, but then you find out down the line it’s fool’s gold.” I then asked her, “Will you at least call the dental number on the back of my card to verify my coverage,” and she replied, “I could, but it wouldn’t matter. They tell you one thing and then end up paying $12.” I was supremely frustrated, but composed. At that point I asked how much the teeth cleaning would cost and agreed to pay the $128 for the cleaning, but no x-rays, and I did say I would have to find a new dentist going forward who would work with my insurance. I was told to take a seat and that they would have me in a seat soon. I waited for another 15 – 20 minutes and then the same receptionist came out and told me the doctor would have to do x-rays or he couldn’t see me. Effectively, I had more or less been shown the door. I was so disenchanted I had to wait another ten minutes for my husband to come pick me up. I did message them that I intended to leave a Google review regarding my experience. A bit later, I received a text from Dr. Hubbard, himself. Rather than try and diffuse the situation and repair the relationship, he threatened me as far as a potential review saying, and I quote, “I will reply accordingly and make it public your poor attitude and treatment towards my staff.” I only interacted with one person on his staff, and I did not raise my voice, I remained composed and even relented on paying cash for my visit. After all, I had driven 50 minutes to make the appointment. I don’t appreciate harassment or threats. And I have nothing to fear from the truth. I have worked in a professional capacity all of my adult life up to my retirement, and I know how to conduct myself in any given situation. So don’t let my age full you. I am smart, savvy and on top of everything that matters. I definitely would not recommend this dentist. One postscript: regarding my insurance, AARP is one of the most powerful lobbys with 38 million members nationwide, in Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, while United Healthcare is the nation's largest insurance provider having done 286 billion in revenues in 2021. Together, they have created a comprehensive insurance policy that includes medical, dental, vision and hearing under one neat umbrella, thereby guaranteeing seniors outstanding healthcare into perpetuity. Finding a new dentist was not rocket science. Rather, it was quite easy.

Fantastic experience: I’m not a fan of going to the dentist but had to go. Best place to go if fearful. Very nice and made me feel very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: My recent 6 month checkup went great. My appointment started on time, the hygienist was kind and thorough. The dentist followed up and made sure all my concerns were addressed. I was in and out in 30 minutes for my cleaning, so I would say it was a perfect appointment. Thanks
