Fantastic experience: I met Dr. Brady Roby at the gym one day and when I say this guy is a saint, it doesn’t do this man justice. He’s quite possibly one of the most genuine and caring individuals I’ve ever met in my life. As a new resident to Sioux Falls he not only made me feel welcomed into town but lent me a bike to go riding with him around the bike loop. I’m somewhat of a wild soul and going to the dentist typically takes a backseat to adventure seeking, needless to say I needed a visit. I had chipped my teeth as a kid and always had issues with the fix not looking right or feeling right, typically breaking after a few months. Dr. Roby said he could fix me up and from past conversations his word was as good as gold, so I booked an appointment. There is a feeling you get when you walk into a well-run business when the energy just feels welcoming, almost like visiting family. I felt that immediately here. Right away the staff is welcoming l, friendly and fun, and gives ease to any anxiety one would have going to the dentist. The entire visit was so smooth, efficient, but not rushed. You had that feeling like you were the only client there yet they were clearly busy. Brady not only fixed up my teeth better than any other dentist before (it had been 6 or so times before I gave up), he immediately identified I needed a molar crowned and took care of that without hesitation. This man is an absolute legend, I can not say enough good things about him. The welcoming energy, the exceptional care, and expert craftsmanship I give my overall experience 11/10. As a nomad I am always on the move, but I will indeed be back to Dr. Roby for life as a patient and friend. Thanks for everything Brady, you truly are a God send, love you brotha!

Negative experience: All they care about is how they can get money out of you for services they fail to adequately perform. Then when their work fails, you’re still expected to foot the bill.

Negative experience: This practice refused to see me from a previous balance of $7 remaining on my account that ended up paid once I finally got a letter in the mail notifying me of the $7 balance that in reality should have been written off since it was for a cleaning covered by my insurance and the practice was overcharging based on what insurance would cover.

Negative experience: If you have Medicaid, don’t bother going here, even if you have private insurance too. I have both Medicaid and Delta Dental, and clearly said I was only using my private insurance. They still refused to treat me. I understand that offices can be overwhelmed or worried about billing mistakes or going over their Medicaid panel, but I wasn’t trying to use Medicaid at all. I was just trying to use my private insurance, and I was still turned away. No one told me ahead of time that having Medicaid would be a problem. It was incredibly frustrating and a major waste of time. It’s unfortunate how people with Medicaid or low-income insurance are often treated, like we don’t deserve the same level of care or respect. This experience was a reminder of that, and it’s not okay. They should clearly state somewhere, on their website or over the phone, that they won’t see patients who have Medicaid, even if it’s not being used.

When I got a filling they worked extra hard to make sure it didn't feel uncomfortable for my bite or touching with my tongue. I've also had a cleaning there. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I arrived at Dell Rapids Dental with the worst set of teeth they have ever seen. My home life was in shambles because my wife would cringe when I would smile. The last time I visited a dentist was 12 years ago when I was broke without a dollar to my name. One visit to Dell Rapids Dental and I now have a happy family of 4, the best smile in town, and several successful businesses. Coincidence? I think not! 11/10 would recommend. Dr. Ford and Tessiah really know how to make someone better.
