Fantastic experience: I just moved back to the area, broke a tooth, and needed to find a dentist ASAP! After doing some research I chose to call Schoen Family Dentistry. They were able to get me an appointment within a day. They do amazing work! Noel did a very thorough job of taking x-rays, cleaning my teeth, and helping to assess my cracked tooth. I am very happy with my decision to go to Schoen Family Dentistry my cleaning and tooth care.

Negative experience: Surprise bill, even after getting a pre estimate. Julie (buisness manager) was incompetent, rude and condescending when I called to protest the extra charges, $200 over and above what I was told i would have to pay &. what I already paid ($776) according to their own pre estimate. Beware extra $200 bills that show up in the mail, long after you pay.

Negative experience: Julie is a real sweetheart . I got a crown, asked for a pre-estimate, got it, had the crown put in. Then I paid $776 for my portion of the bill after insurance & according to the pre-estimate. I was assured by their office that I would get no further bill and yet two months later - I got an almost $200 surprises bill. Julie was disrespectful and condescending. Telling me that it’s a courtesy that their office even deals with our insurance for billing etc. I felt like I was dealing with a crook! Hostility towards your patients when your failure to get an accurate pre-estimate, should never get me an extra bill, real classy Julie. Coincidentally, I did also just have another crown replaced after that first crown this year, because it was improperly put on, a year ago at Schoen Dentistry. The Dentist didn’t charge me and took responsibility for the shoddily installed first crown. I will be finding a new dentist office for my family. I liked the dentist and the techs but their billing office is incompetent and hostile!

Fantastic experience: Had my 6 month checkup 5/28/26. All staff were extremely nice and friendly. Dr Schoen is very patient conscious and listens very well. I have no complaints. I love all the reminders they send out to help to not forget appointments.

Fantastic experience: Everything went great. They went thru and did enough xrays to find all the issues and came up with a game plan on how to attack the problems. Then also what was going to happen afterward. They listened to my questions and concerns. It is the best visit I have ever experienced at a dentist appointment.

Fantastic experience: I usually hate the dentist office. I have sensitive teeth. This dentist took extra care with my teeth and the cleaning and the check up went really well. If this is what it will be like from now on, I might actually enjoy going to the dentist. Great job to both the hygienist and the dentist!

Fantastic experience: Dawn is always smiling and listens and explains any concerns I may have to Nate. She performed my semi-annual cleaning explaining what she did every step of the way. Nate addressed my only concern and did not find anything wrong but said to contact the office should I experience any on going issues.

Fantastic experience: Like some others, I am afraid of sitting in a dentist chair. I have not been to a dentist in many years, but I have gained enough courage over this past year to make the effort. Today I was rewarded!! I had a teeth cleaning that I would give 5 stars for how painless it was! What a relief and a great way to calm down . The dentist was so calm and kind as he examined my teeth and talked with me about my dental options that I felt confident making some choices! I’m actually looking forward to returning to the team at Schoen Dentistry for the work I want to have done to preserve my teeth better as I grow older!! Negative experience: Unprofessional and unempathetic. They pulled a tooth on my son and didn't care that he was choking on the mold for his spacer. Spacer arrived a month later, they told me it was permanent and wouldn't fall out. Within the first hour of him leaving the dentist and his school called to tell me the spacer did indeed fall out. We went back immediately for them to tell us the spacer was bent and they couldn't get it back in. They said it was pointless to order another as the month it would take was too long of time for it to have any benefit at that point. Now my son needs braces and possibly more teeth extracted because he doesn't have enough space for his adult teeth to come in. They called telling me my kids had appointments in 3 days, which I canceled because we decided to see a new dentist. They said they give a 3 week notice for all appointments which I never received. Upon informing them that we would be seeing a new dentist, they asked why. I told them my son was traumatized by the whole experience and I was looking for a second opinion and just wasn't happy with our overall service as they were rather rude, unempathetic and didn't take time to explain my son's situation. I was hoping for a simple cleaning as the new dentist was a bit far out, and Schoen family refused to work with us because of my reasonings for seeking a new dentist. They certainly have zero care for their patients and just treat them as another paycheck. Which is why I'm convinced that they did nothing further for his treatment, because they knew doing nothing further would eventually result in my son needing more care and treatment for his teeth. My son is 7. And is now suffering because of lack of care from this horrible office.

Fantastic experience: Literally THE BEST experience you can have at a dental office! Everything was explained to me in a way I truly understood, I felt completely seen and heard the whole time, and everyone works together as such a good team! I never felt embarrassed (huge plus!) I have extreme anxiety when even thinking of making appointments but honestly Ive felt calm and was able to attend all my appointments!. Highly recommended! 11/10

They are all very educated they make sure yojr comfortable and not feeling pain. They can help all kinds of different dentistry situations. The receptionist are amazing and they send reminder emails and text and calls if you wish. They also take blue cross blue sheild of mn. They really saved my teeth and got me back to wanting to smile wide again.

Today I was about to leave for vacation and had a concern about a tooth, I didn't want it to ruin my vacation. Fantastic experience: Let me start off by saying I am someone who has severe dental anxiety, I have since I was a really young kid a had some unpleasant experiences in the past with dentist. Which cause me to avoid the dentist for years. I let my teeth get really bad when I let my anxiety get the best of me. I found Dr.Schoens dental office online and saw great reviews and knew it was time to do something about the damage I had caused ignoring my teeth all those years. When I went in for the first time I was very on edge, panicky and scared. The dental assistant was more than patient and kind with me. Talked me through everything and didn’t make me feel like a burden. I scheduled a later appointment for a root canal and some fillings. Dr. Nate Schoen was so kind and patient with me when I showed up in tears of fear. He made me feel at ease throughout the entire procedure and really calmed my nerves. I left there feeling like I finally could let go of my fear and Dr.Nate and the assistant there were all to be thanked for that. I truly am so grateful to find a space I once feared to now feel at ease. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. It’s your kindness and work that helps us overcome fears and anxiety.
