Fantastic experience: I’ve had 3 wisdom tooth extractions in 3 separate appointments with Dr. Boyczuk. Each one was completely painless, quick and comfortable. Dr. Boyczuk is extremely professional and prioritizes patient comfort, I won’t see a different oral surgeon.

Negative experience: Our son was referred here because he has a missing condyle on one side of his jaw. The doctor here did not care and just brushed it off and said, “looks good to me.” And was going to yank on his jaw to get the wisdom teeth out with zero support. I thought maybe I was being over protective so I had a cone bone scan of the jaw. It was sent to maxofacial in Chicago Illinois where he went initially and they said no way, he needs a lot of support on the jaw and in an emergency setting because he also has vocal cord distinction. So, the doctor in olean was very condescending and dismissed our concerns. Thank God I had a second and third opinion. The ladies in the front tried to bill me hundreds of dollars immediately when that’s not even the way my insurance works. They billed me and it came to 179 dollars!! There was a miscommunication between the offices and they had ran two X-rays close together. It happens. When I called back the lady was laughing at me as was expressing my concerns! Do not go here!!

Negative experience: I really dislike making bad reviews, but sometimes you have to in advising the public. Let me say, I'm over 60 years old. I've been to many dentists. Never have I had an experience like this. I had a very bad molar tooth that had a hole in it, that needed to be pulled. I got an evaluation from a good dental office that gave me a referral to this oral surgery dentists. They could not get me in for 2 1/2 months, but said they would call if they had an opening. I did not like waiting, as the cavity would get worse, almost guaranteed a cracked broken tooth. I said, what if it's an emergency? They said , "we don't do walk ins " My referral apparently meant nothing. So, the day came in March. There were 3 people ahead of me, 1 dentist. 1 lady had the same appointment time as me, 11am. I waited one and a half hours past my appointment, and was told there was a delay. Found out they took a Walk in " that's right, for a 4 wisdom teeth removal at 10:30am. Gave away my slot. Apparently, I wasn't important. I couldn't believe it ! After a 2 1/2 months wait. I knew this was gonna be bad, backed up room and late. So I get in the chair, dentist gives me 2 shots, he's in a rush, never asks if I'm numbed out. Begins... Let me tell you, I felt like being tortured in the chair. He gave me 6 -8 after shots while I was jumping out of the chair, gripping the armrests. I kid you not. Dr. Brown never so much as asked if I was in pain, or did you feel that ? Or are you okay... Nope, just " I'm trying to do this as fast as possible " Yeah, because you gave away my spot to a walk in ! It took 40 mins. I am not scared of dentists but I've never been in pain like that before at a dentist, and I've had 2 other teeth pulled and 2 root canals. And 4 wisdom teeth pulled 40 years ago, no pain. Don't tell me it's a curved roots. b.s. take your time and numb me out FIRST. All he said was, " did you hear that crack?" yeah, maybe give me a walk in 3 months prior... thanks and btw, office looked like a training office at a dental school. Worst equipment and decor ever seen. Not even an overhead light. Maybe remodel ? I expected much better from an oral surgeon center, my first and last time. They did ask me, "do I want to drive to Buffalo" ? when I walked in. lol Never again.

Fantastic experience: You guys are absolutely amazing I came in with two really bad teeth and multiple massive abscess. I wasn't able to eat, sleep only cry in pain for 5 days. They got me in within an hour for an emergency appointment from another dental office without even knowing my name just my situation. I was absolutely terrified and the dentist took care of me through every step of the process. I'm very grateful and I scheduled another appointment in September! Thank you guys so much

Fantastic experience: If you’re nervous for a wisdom tooth extraction, don’t be AT ALL. I was sweating this surgery for weeks. I had two mesioangular impacted lowers and 2 impacted uppers. The staff is incredibly skilled, precise and understanding! Nitrous was given prior to the IV (which caused no issues) and before I knew it I was out. After coming back, there was zero pain and I was barely disoriented. The lidocaine used stops any pain for the first few hours. After it wears off, so long as you are keeping up with meds and ice, it’s only as painful as pressing firmly on your cheek with your knuckle. The recovery so far has been unbelievably easy! Huge thanks to them.

Positive experience: (Jacob) The numbing shots are the worst part but it’s nice to know I may be able to save my teeth. Thank you for your support, I was nervous.

The office staff , clinicians and Surgeon were very calm and competent. 2023 My initial experience was a positive one. The staff members were pleasant and informative. The Surgeon was calm and upfront with procedural information. 2023 I have since had a few more appointments and each time feel that I'm receiving good care. 2024-Feb. Again today the experience was professional. 2024-May. I continue with my journey with Dr. Ryan Brown. I had another positive experience. Even with the attention on the procedures at hand, we share some laughs and good conversation. Very pleased thus far. 2024-June. Brief yet a thorough appointment. The journey continues and confident in their care. 2024-June. First implant, all went well. I am grateful for their expertise and kindness. 2024- July. All good! 2024- September. Another fun appointment with Dr Brown and staff; making progress. Thank you. 2024- December. Thank you for your patience and kindness during this recent surgery. We even had a laugh at the end. 2024-December. Busy day for their office, but everyone pleasant just the same. Good f/u appt. 2025-March. As with every visit, I encountered pleasant office staff and professional clinical staff. Dr Brown and his clinicians strive to ensure your comfort, safety and a positive outcome.

Fantastic experience: I called the office..and they got me in the same day...I was dealing with a bad infected tooth..the girls at the desk are so nice and helpful ..I have horrible anxiety when it comes to dental work and was in so much pain and the nurse and oral surgeon were so patient and nice ...Once i was numbed i was surprised how quickly the tooth was out. I've been to offices and dealt with rude dentists that are not so patient and nice.and I can't say enough good things about my experience..They are an awesome team and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at ease..thank you to all the staff for all you do

I called everywhere in town with no luck of getting seen today.I called them, explained my situation, they had me in and out within an hour! Great bedside manor too! Very friendly. Very professional. He was so knowledgeable and explained everything so that a non-medically minded person could easily understand. He found that my pain was not from my teeth but from my muscles due to clenching. Most likely from stress and probably some habit. He was absolutely wonderful, honest, and I would recommend him to anyone! If your not sure where to go this is the place!! Well worth any wait you may have to get in to see him!!

Fantastic experience: AMAZING! Took the time to explain the procedure. He even cared about our daughter’s future plans and how and when the procedure would fit into her schedule during her senior year. She is planning to be a voice teacher and he didn't want it to interfere with her music and college auditions. Truly an amazing experience!

Dr. William Boyczuk and his assistant are exceptional ! 1 year ago , I had an absolute horrible experience with a different dental clinic when I had went in for surgery . With this traumatic experience I had encountered from them , I was petrified to go see another dentist . I had called this office to make an appointment for a tooth abscess and the ladies were so friendly and polite and were quick to make me an appointment . I had spoken up about my experiences at that dental clinic and how I was nervous about any future dental work. They both look the time and reassured me that I was in good hands . I didn’t feel rushed . I didn’t feel judged . I felt safe and content knowing I had a great doctor and assistant by my side . During this procedure, I felt NO pain . Thank you Dr. Boyczuk and all the staff for helping me overcome this fear .
