Shrewsbury Family Dentistry

Negative experience: I just paid $140 for them to take an xray and have them tell me they can’t do anything, go elsewhere. $101 for that “exam.” This practice very much operates in our current healthcare hellscape that doesn’t value people and their needs over money.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough good things! The staff is incredible…everyone is friendly and is enjoying their job. It’s pretty rare to see such a well rounded staff. No one has ever looked miserable or had an attitude. A+ staff for sure! Pricing is reasonable for out of pocket costs. I had horrible dental anxiety and hadn’t gone for years…I stumbled across Dr. Beltran and it’s truly been nothing but positive experiences. I actually look forward to my cleanings! I’m on an Invisalign journey as well and I am super happy with my progress.

Fantastic experience: If anyone is looking for an awesome dentist, you will find one in Shrewsbury. Dr. Fabio Beltran at Shrewsbury Family Dentistry is wonderful. I’m a super terrified dental patient and have avoided the dentist chair for several years. When I moved to New Freedom last March, I knew I needed to add “find a dentist” to my list of things to do. Then a month ago a tooth went bad on me. Very very bad. So I called Dr. Beltran. Turns out I needed a root canal. The first visit to a new dentist and it has to be a root canal. Long story short ( I know..too late) I had it done yesterday and I have to say Dr Beltran is amazing. His whole team is amazing. I am such a coward and anxiety ridden mess but I made it!!! Thank you Shrewsbury Family Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: I actually look forward to visiting the dentist because the experience is always friendly and helpful, from the ladies that greet you warmly when you come in the door to the assistants who prep and explain things to Dr. Beltran himself. Granted, I’d certainly rather not have a filling or other dental issue at all, but if I have to deal with that, I’m glad Shrewsbury Family Dentistry is where I get to go! You should too!

Fantastic experience: Dr Beltran is a dental wizard. I had a reaction to a medication making my teeth turn black. Dr Beltran fixed the problem in a half hour. I can smile again!

Fantastic experience: My family switched to SFD in the summer of 2022. I have made the appointments for 2 young adult children, my husband, and myself. Even making the appointment was a pleasant experience - they were kind and patiently answered all of my questions. When your (20 year old) comes home and talks about how nice the hygentist is and how she remembered things about him from his previous first visit, you know you’ve found a great practice. Today was my first visit and despite the X-rays which were necessary, it could not have been a more pleasant visit. Efficient, friendly, and reasonable price. (We have no dental insurance). For anyone looking for a dental practice, I highly recommend SFD.

They are always willing to offer you advice to better your oral hygiene, if you want it. And best part, they don’t try to get you to purchase unnecessary things just to get extra money (we all know those dentists) and are always upfront about the cost of their services. Overall, they just genuinely care about there patients. I would highly recommend them for all your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient and called about 2 weeks ago for an appointment for my daughter and I because our old dentist was still stuck with 2020 protocols. They got my daughter an appointment 2 weeks out and put me on a cancellation list - got two calls and I'm in in less than a week. I've never had a cancellation list before and this was so quick. The appointment went well - the office was very busy but efficient. The hygienist was very social and explained everything she was doing and why - I learned more than visits to four prior dentists. I can see why it was recommended to me.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this dental practice. I recently retired and sought a dentist closer to home as opposed to my work location. I've gone there for two years now. Both hygienists have been excellent and unlike other dentists that I've visited in my 69 years, there is no high pressure sales pitch for additional procedures. They are happy just to share information and leave it at your level. Especially welcomed when you do not have dental coverage.
