Fantastic experience: I have hated the dentist since childhood. With lifelong bad teeth, it was always a source of shame and embarrassment. Dr Patel and his entire staff made it easy for me to experience confidence and comfort. This has opened up a world I can feel free to smile in. My only problem at this point is that I have to actually learn to smile with my whole face, a skill I thought I’d never have! Thank you Dr Patel and every single person at his practice. Fantastic experience: I love all the staff at walnut Ridge, I think they have treated me with kid gloves, I don’t know if it is because I am 84 years old and in the middle of getting top & bottom implants, I have my first set of temporary implants & it has been 3 months & everything is going great! Crazy isn’t it for an 84 year old to get implants, but I wanted them…..lol! When I go in I ask plenty of questions, and they always answer, I kind of don’t have a filter on my mouth! I remember telling Dr Patel when he did the surgery about how mad I was when he gave me about 5 quick shots, that they really hurt, guess I wasn’t out enough, and he was sorry but still laughed, then I guess I got another shot of gas….lol! I should be done with everything at the end of April or sometime in May & have my permanent implants then! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR PATEL & ALL OF HIS STAFF AT WALNUT RIDGE!

Negative experience: Not impressed with chair side manner or interpersonal skills. I’ve been several times and they never introduce themselves or explain what they are doing other than basics. You never know who you will see or how experienced they will be. I would have appreciated an experienced tech after having 3 failed bridges but nope y to get gave me a newbie and my temp fell off within a hour. Not sure anyone in the area is any better but I’m now in pain until they open tomorrow and I can make the 1 hr ride again. So frustrating going through this same situation for over a year now. Regret.

Fantastic experience: Went for a consultation and decided on a treatment plan. They didn't try to oversell, in fact they went out of their way to explain why I didn't need more. Yesterday I started treatment plan went back today for the to check on me. Staff is amazing, If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.. Highly recommend Just had an appointment to check on the fit of my dentures that are temporary until my bone heals for my snap-in dentures. These dentures are my old ones done elsewhere. I walked out with my old ones fitting better than when they were new. Again I highly recommend them. I could not be happier This is an update, still happy. Treatment is taking a little longer. My bone was softer than they liked, which means I had to wait a full 6+ months before the denture can be made.

Fantastic experience: I'm very pleased with my dental care at Walnut Ridge Dental Center. I travell 2 hours there and 2 hours back home, and that is hard on me, but well worth the time. I have heard horror stories by people who had dentures made but never could wear them. Well I have my temporary set know and the top fits like a glove and to be expected from extractions and bone removal the bottom has taken a few months for the swelling to go down. I was surprised after having the bottom relined to fit that with very little adhesive I was able to eat any food I wanted to without them popping loose. Did I mention that these are the temporary dentures, I cant wait to get my permanent ones. The staff is very helpful and amazing. Dr. Rusher is a Jewel. I highly recommend Walnut Ridge Dental Center, it is worth the drive to get professional care.

Fantastic experience: I can not say enough good things about Dr Rusher and all of the staff at the Walnut Ridge Dental Center. I had a lot of broken and missing teeth, a lot of abnormal bone growths, so I feel like my mouth was not the simplest case. I had all the top removed, with gum resurfacing to remove the bone growths and then 4 posts implanted for my removable top denture to be attached. I am so glad that I went ahead and chose this route even though it was more expensive than typical dentures. Just having the temporary pair while waiting for my mouth to heal enlightened me to just some of the effects that having something to cover your top palate presents you with. I’m also glad I went with this implant fixed removable denture. I feel like in the long run of things, this route will be easier to maintain. I’m a nightime teeth grinder with a horrible case of reflux that greatly affects my dentition. I’m also a big time nervous nelly for anything dental related. Even though in life, I’m a nurse, the sights, sounds, smells of a dentist office really pushed my anxiety over the top. I’ve always needed anxiety medication when going to any dentist office. I wear sound blocking ear buds and I have music or a book blasting and once I’m in that chair, I keep my eyes closed tight. By the end of my journey, I have enough trust in this group of people that I can walk right in like I’m just visiting friends. No pre medication or earbuds needed. They are patient, kind and knowledgeable and thanks to financing options that they helped me to arrange, I was able to get more done than expected and with an amazing finished result. My journey was not always easy or pain free. They were always there to listen, available in short notice when I was going through it all and always worked so hard to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Even now when I have reached the end of this process, I know at any time they will be there if any surprises arise or need was to develop. I don’t feel like they are done with me just because we have reached a certain place. Some offices are like that. They will address one issue & send you out the door and would need more $ if you started having issues. I do not feel that way with this clinic. I know they all really do care and they guarantee their work. I did have problems with my gums healing, which was definitely not anything of their design, but of my body’s. They were always there and never once asked me for more money even when they had to treat some of my gum issues that occurred. I don’t think anyplace else could have been any better as far as support, care, or skill level. They are just above top notch in every aspect. Having their own lab and advanced technology and equipment is just another way they are elevated above other clinics. Literally EVERY single person in their clinic, from the front desk, to hygienist and dentist is so friendly, concerned and there for you. Their office is also very clean. I’d recommend them to anyone and if you are anywhere like I was at the beginning, which was very anxious, struggled for years with pain, difficult time with eating, someone who normally avoid dentist and worried about costs, I’d say go for it with this group, if at all possible even if you have to finance it because in the end it will all be worth it. You might see some social media advertising that will say offers you a cheaper solution, I did do my diligence and shopped around, I had also needed several oral surgeries and dental procedures in my past. No one could even come close to the caliber of care that I have received. So don’t mess with the rest, choose this group for the VERY BEST!! Im forever grateful to every single person with this group. Thanks WRDC for being who you are. You will always be #1 in my book.

Negative experience: I visited Walnut Ridge Dental Clinic twice for a severely broken and painful tooth. Both visits were disastrous due to their focus on aggressive payment collection over patient care. Despite being in tremendous pain and providing proof of my United Healthcare insurance coverage on my phone app (with extractions covered up to $2,500), the office staff insisted I pay a $70 fee upfront before the procedure could begin. When I couldn't produce the cash immediately, I was told to leave and return when I had the money. Ironically, my insurance later confirmed that they had paid the visit bill in full. After my tooth broke further, I called to confirm the extraction could finally be done since the initial bill was settled. I drove an hour and a half to the clinic. Upon approaching the desk, I was immediately asked to "take care of my balance for today." The front desk staff was rude and argumentative. When I called United Healthcare on the spot to verify coverage for the extraction and the use of laughing gas, the insurance representative confirmed coverage for everything. The clinic staff still refused to provide service, rudely telling the insurance representative he didn't know their billing codes and insisting I had an immediate out-of-pocket payment of $35 for the anesthesia (a covered service). I was made to feel like a charity case and was utterly humiliated in front of the entire waiting room. Their complete lack of compassion, coupled with their extreme focus on demanding money before any service was rendered—even for a fully insured patient in pain—is unacceptable. I ultimately walked out. I strongly advise anyone to seek care elsewhere. This clinic appears to prioritize cash collection over the health, comfort, and respect of its patients. I will pull my own tooth before I allow them to touch me again.

Fantastic experience: I visited WRDC today over a infected tooth that was causing my face to swell they listened to everything I had to say and my plan and helped lead me in my next step of getting it taken care of they got me in and took care of it I highly recommend this dentist office and I really can’t thank Dr.Rowlan and assistant Katy for not only taking care of my tooth but making my experience the best I’m so happy to say I got it taken care of and they were very nice and explained everything to me. Please not I called them today and got into the dentist today and I’m a new patient!!!

Negative experience: Update. Well, im at the finish line and my new teeth are still not satisfactory. Any concerns or problems i voiced were discounted. I am now 12k in Debt with worthless plates that overfill my month and cant eat with and speak with a lisp. My resolve is to have to continue wearing my 35 year old worn out plate until i pay this off and can go somewhere else. I do not recommend this particular office, maybe others do better. Not only do my temporary plates not fit, even with paste, any attempt to speak they pop up, but also in making the impressions they trimmed on my old plate so it doesnt fit like it did either. I only went with this option because i was adamant not to go without teeth at all . Now, it will be weeks before new impressions can be made. I can only eat soft foods, i wont be out in public like this so i will miss church for at least a month, great nieces baby shower, july 4th festivities and no telling what else. For what this option cost i certainly had higher expectations for this experience. Its humiliating enough for my husband to see me without teeth im Mortified for anyone else to see me like this. Fantastic experience: So far everyone at the walnut ridge and Thayer from the front office to the back to the nurses and dr. They have been exceptionally nice professional and explained everything exceptionally well. I am very unique patient from going to another dentist in Jonesboro. That really messed up my mouth putting implants in upper mouth a little over year ago. They messed my mouth up pretty good and then I went walnut ride dental. They are trying fix me back up with a smile that a person definitely needs Snd to be able to eat again. I would definatly recommend them. I will post before and after photos when get done

Fantastic experience: Absolutely first class team, from the beginning Dr. Patel and his staff have been so accommodating. I live 6 hours from both locations, so it’s not always easy to coordinate, but they made it happen every time. Recently I had some concerns about my bottom bridge following a pretty intense “snap” while eating. That was on a Wednesday, by Friday they had me on the schedule, pulled my bridge, loaded a temp, and started the process for a new permanent bridge. Simply amazing…

Fantastic experience: Updated to say I got my crowns today and they look great. I added new photos of them. I fell and broke my two front teeth. I called everywhere. Paragould, Jonesboro, and rector. Only one who would work me in was walnut ridge dental! They were all very friendly. The Dr and dental hygienist was great as well. They put temporary caps on me right then.

As someone who has lived with serious dental fear and shame for years, that kindness meant everything. I’ve been in pain and avoided the dentist for far too long; until a family friend recommended WRDC. I drove over an hour to get there, and I have absolutely no regrets. Dr. Patel performed my extractions and implants, and Katy assisted; both were phenomenal. I was shocked to feel zero pain, and I’ve had no issues at all since. I returned today to get my flipper while my implants heal, and for the first time in my life, I walked into a dental office without fear. None. I actually look forward to going back, and I’m even considering additional cosmetic work in the future. WRDC has truly changed how I feel about dental care. They gave me not only comfort but confidence that I can go to the dentist and that’s priceless.

They are all excellent in their areas of expertise and they make me feel at ease. There is always a good show on in the waiting area, though you never have to wait long, which is awesome. The bottom line is no one wants to go to the dentist so since we have to you may as well go to the best. This is the place.
