Fantastic experience: Very good. The staff is very professional and pleasant. They do whatever is necessary to make sure you are comfortable. Dr. H is easy to talk to, makes sure all your questions are answered and explains everything ahead of time. I would recommend this office to anyone.

Anytime I see a bad review or something negative about this office I’m convinced it’s because they don’t want to pay there bills or because they place blame when they can’t do the impossible for that person these people are so welcoming and kind , girl at front desk welcomes every person who walks through the door, strikes conversation and goes out of her way to make anyone feel welcome, doctor is patient and kind cleaning teeth ladies are so sweet and thorough and what more can you ask for, I’ve brought my family member to appointments and the care they provide her is worth the drive, I plan to switch to this dentist once my dental insurance kicks in. They do there best to work with you payment wise, appointment wise and the doctor is so sweet and handsome ha. What more can you ask for! Thank you dental care of McClain. Negative experience: I needed a tooth extraction in the back this current dentist is out his way out apparently hes leaving the practice within the next few weeks. I could tell this was my 1st interaction with him and last. He dis remove my tooth but cut me up good and hit my upper teeth ALOT also never offered me any after care instructions or even ask me if i wanted a bone graft done i had to ask n say i needed it done or im not getting it extracted. I shouldnt have to ask any of that

Fantastic experience: Great place to go for dental work or dentures, my wife got done teeth pulled he did an amazing job and I had a set of immediate dentures from a few years back that I hated so I went here and got new ones, they definitely know what they're doing, I believe I had 6 appointments from the consultation to walking out with my new dentures which I absolutely love they fit great I didn't need to go back and get them adjusted or anything, though learning to eat all over again is definitely frustrating but that's nothing to do with the quality of the dentures... staff was very friendly everytime we went and the dentist was very informative and made sure that you understood what he was going to do before he did it every step of the way... would HIGHLY recommend Dental Care on McClain to anyone looking for a dentist.

Negative experience: If I could leave zero stars, I would. I didn't receive care today because my appointment was never saved in the computer due to an error with the automated text service. Costumer service and care has been abysmal since the change in ownership. I have had enough issues scheduling appointments, keeping those appointments, and receiving respectful care from the new dentists (the hygienists have all been lovely) that I will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: New dentist and management handled previous dentist fraudulent activity perfectly. Greatly appreciate his honesty and integrity. Highly recommend this dentist! I came in for a routine filling. Within a week it had fallen out. When I came back in to have it repaired, the dentist repairing the filling stated to myself and my husband it would be free of charge. Then months later I received a bill for the repair. Explained to the office multiple times that the repair was to be free, because the original filling lasted only a week. Their response was now that the dentist is retired we can't verify. Now they have sold their fabricated bill to collections. Not only that, the repair they charged me for had to be repaired by another dentist office so it would be done correctly.

Negative experience: The new people treat you like a customer rather than a patient and get rude when you refuse X-rays that they already have on file. You can’t get a simple cleaning without them trying to force other services on you.

If you need to have a good time at the dentist’s office then you MUST go to Dental Care on McClain in Scottsburg. Everyone there must take a nice test before they are hired. The staff is amazing.

Amy (I hope I got that right) the hygienist was amazing. She took her time, was so friendly and kind, and very thorough. Dr. H is a great addition! Warm, friendly, thorough, and doesn't try to sell things you don't really need. I couldn't be happier I decided to stick with them!

He's been waiting for 5 months to get his teeth and I think that is crazy insanity. I'm not blaming it on the new people I hope these new people can get around and get his teeth done he makes a joke saying you think I'll get my teeth before I die but he said he really liked the dentist that saw him last the new one that took over so maybe he can get something done and get my father's teeth fit and make sure they stay fit in there or he can eat good and have good meals at least until he dies I hope they make his last year's feeling good about itself so please hurry and get my dad's teeth done and make them look so pretty thank you for taking over the dentistry and I wish you well

Positive experience: I had to reschedule a couple of times & the staff were very accommodating. Had to wait around a little bit for my exam/cleaning. Procedurally, I give everything 2 thumbs up. Teeth feel GREAT! Remember everyone, floss every day!

Negative experience: Crooks! I asked before scheduling my appointment, before my appointment and at my appointment check-in if my insurance was covered. They said yes every time. After my appointment, they tell me my insurance isn’t covered and I need to pay out of pocket! Additionally, the dentist kept trying to push narcotics for my teeth grinding. Strange.

Fantastic experience: Staff is super friendly! They listened, were attentive and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable. I have really sensitive teeth so taking the extra steps to offer and add comfort for that was So appreciated.

Negative experience: DON'T GO HERE!!! You may very well regret it. I got an upper denture that was wrong all the way around, the split between the two front teeth didn't even match the split on the bottom. Fit was so poor that I had to have it relined at my expense but after that I ended up getting another denture also at my expense. I started work on the bottom implant supported denture. They called said your denture but we have a new temp dentist and he doesn't do implants so we'll refer you to a place in Louisville. And come and pick up your denture and pay for it. I won't accept the new denture and pay for it unless it is accepted by my new dentist first and if I have to pay for duplicate procedures it will have to come from what I would owe on the dentures. Of course they wouldn't do any of that so I told them to keep them. So I have start over. Plus I'm investigating some insurance billing descrepancies.

Fantastic experience: The personal was top notch, they were very friendly to us and accommodated my husband who is disabled and in wheelchair. The Dr Paul Ranny gave a complete and in depth analysis of my husband and what needed done to help him In the long run due to his medical issues that he suffers from. Didn’t pull any punch and went thru each procedure he will have to have let us pick the best option. I would definitely go to him again if is able to get his own practice and I recommend him to anyone in the future. Thank you all who helped us yesterday. Very informative.

Spoke to me as a person, made me feel very comfortable, and actually took time to explain things going on with my problem tooth instead of just giving me a printout of the thousands of dollars of work I need done like a popular chain dental office did. I also appreciated that he understood what my priority was and made that the focus of my appointment, vs trying to tell me/upsell me/address issues that were not a priority to me at that time. For this reason, I have the highest respect for him and the staff! They made me feel welcome and heard and didn't try to pressure me to do anything I didn't want to do. I will definitely be seeking care here in the future to address the other dental issues I have.

Fantastic experience: This is my oldest daughter's regular dentist! I love them so much that my youngest is now going to them. They are very kind and understanding people. They have never been anything but absolutely sweet and professional with us. That's the dental team and the ladies at the front! They really enjoy our visits and we enjoy being there. They always speak positive and up lifting things into my children. 20/10 recommend!
