Negative experience: I encourage all to look into why hes surrendering his license. Gives a lot of explanation on his poor care. We'll be finding a new dentist. I'm not interested in hashing it out. They don't do well with people with anxiety. 3 out 5 of my family have had issues during treatment. Ages 11-37. The youngest is still mad about her visit and now has dental anxiety. Childrens dentisry in Lynchburg has helped her with this. He removed the wrong tooth of my husbands, it was one that had to come out but he didn't take the one he was supposed to and recently had to take antibiotics for. At my consult he wanted to do a root canal on a tooth that had moved and turned outward to my cheek and made it impossible to wear my dentures. That wouldnt have fixed it and made me mad he suggested it. During consult...what was supposed to be cleaning and exam no one did a cleaning. I havent had one in years he also said yeah you have tmj, i knew this, but not given options for treatment like his site boasts. I went in recently and despite the website saying they offer laughing gas I wasn't given that option even though i said i was very anxious and visibly shaking. The nurse sounded annoyed when I was trying to breath through the numbing and PAINFUL injections and kept telling me to open up when I just needed a second between them. I have reactions to the numbing shots, I feel like one of those cartoons where the heart is visibly beating out the chest. Despite this a LOT was given in a short period. The first extraction I ever had here he gave me something different, my fault for not reminding him I guess. *there was no excuse for "forgetting" or rapid injections* During the tooth extractions I wasn't talked to, reassured, or given warnings, or told anything. I felt like just a body. If I had i would have felt more reassured and relaxed. Instead I was gripping myself, crying while being worked on, and very upset. I left in shock. No apologies were given about when they dropped the tool and cut my lip in the middle and I was aware of the "oops." I was aware of the panic in his voice when he kept calling Karen. My face looks like someone hit me. Good thing im not going any where. I've had all four wisdom teeth removed at once and numerous other teeth at one time and I've never bruised or felt this badly. Even though I said I was already hurting through the numbness, that i had taken tylenol beforehand, and that he knew he had been rough, I wasnt offered pain medication. Luckily i had some from when i cracked my ribs a few months prior. Doubling aleve and tylenol didnt help. *he didn't catch the mandibular tori either* Brandy is why i gave what i did. She is and always have been super nice and understanding.

Fantastic experience: As always, this office has the friendliest staff ever. I will miss Dr. Krone, but Im sure the new dentist will be just as nice. I met him briefly and he was very nice.

Negative experience: WORST DENTIST IN THE WORLD FAILED TO REFER ME TO AN ORAL SURGEON TO DIAGNOSE MY INFECTION. KEEPING ME SICK WITH AN INFECTION THAT REQUIRED HOSPITALIZATION!

Fantastic experience: All staff are very accommodating and friendly always prompt with appointments

Negative experience: This review hurts because Dr. Krone did a lot of work for me through Donated Dental many years ago. Therefore, when returning to the area, and having dental insurance, I sought him out. He informed me that a few teeth needed filling. He filled them, but I did have to go back in because a hole had been drilled, but not filled. Both he, and the dental assistant, told me I must have lost the filling, but he did "re-fill" it. Finally, I thought, I was done. However, about a few months later, I started having severe pain on my right side and sought out a different dentist. I didn't go back to Dr. Krone to fix it because I had a bad feeling about the situation. Through this new dentist, I found out I needed a root canal, because several teeth had not been filled correctly. They were "open." Again, several teeth had been drilled but not filled. This was corroborated by the endodontist who gave me a root canal. I had already paid out of pocket for part of my services to see Dr. Krone because he didn't accept my dental plan, and then had to pay out of pocket for the endodontist. I don't know what has happened but be very careful if you see Dr. Krone.

Fantastic experience: This is my second post and once again, I can't say enough about Dr. Krone and the girls, especially Karen and Sarah who worked on me with Dr. Krone. They are both so knowledgeable, pleasant, funny and everything good. Dr. "K" should be real proud of all of his staff.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Dr. Krones office. I am very grateful that they worked me in for an urgent exam for jaw pain since my usual dentist office is to be closed for an extended period of time. The office is very clean and the atmosphere is calming. The staff was extremely kind and efficient. Dr Krone made me feel at ease, took his time with the exam and addressed all my concerns. He prescribed needed antibiotics. My issue required a referral to a surgeon and the office took care of that referral immediately. I left feeling well cared for. This will be my dental office of choice from now on. January 20, 3026 Update: I visited this office for my first check up and cleaning with this practice. I remain impressed with their service. I have never received such a thorough exam from any dentist. The dental technician was very kind and gentle. You can tell they care about their patients and your dental health. I am very glad to have found them after my last dentist retired.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit as my dentist of many years retired. I needed some work done on a tooth with a broken Edge. They gave me an appointment very soon after I called. The staff was both friendly and professional. Dr. Krone was very willing and able to describe what was needed and to give me options as to whether or not I wanted any kind of deadening how's the tooth before the process began. It looks great. Matches the natural tooth and has smooth edges.

Fantastic experience: Dental care is very limited in Farmville, but I've been very happy with Dr. Krone's office. The hygienists are wonderful and the staff are friendly. They take time to get to know their patients. They take good care of my teeth.

Nurse Amy as they call her, the Dental Hygienist loves children and knows how to keep them calm. I would have to say she specializes in young children Dentistry. Take your child/children to see Dr. Krone and nurse Amy today. You will be so happy you did. Had a upper tooth pulled. First time in my life I ever had a tooth pulled without no pain whatsoever. I am 65 years old and this is the best dentist and staff I have ever been to. I have been going to Dr. Krone for about four years now and I can honestly say I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. Even my grand children now enjoy going to the dentist and love Dr. Krone and nurse Amy, they call her. Karen, Brandy, the whole staff is second to none.
