Negative experience: I called Aspen Dental up so I could go in and get my teeth cleaned I haven't been to the dentist for over 5 years so I knew they was going to need to take X-rays etc etc the receptionist was really nice and helpful with filling out the background on health even had each other laughing which also goes with the assistant that took all the x-rays she was awesome that took a little time which was expected the hygienist come in and did her thing and she was great also very informative I wasn't really crazy about the doctor cuz I felt like I was at an automobile shop where I go in for an oil change and next thing I know I'm getting a new motor transmission brakes and tires The worst part was I was there for 2 hours and never did get my teeth cleaned so the one star was for the receptionist the assistant and a hygienist because they were awesome

Negative experience: Felt rushed and that they were just trying to sell me stuff. They didn’t explain that I wouldn’t get my teeth cleaned. I wasted work hours for nothing. I won’t be back.

Fantastic experience: New to Aspen Dental. I started having severe tooth pain overnight and the Marshalltown office was able to get me seen for a new patient appointment the next morning. The entire team from the front desk staff to the doctor did an excellent job. I ended up having an abscess under one of my molars and the doctor advised me that I need a root canal. The dental assistants, hygienist and the doctor explained everything in depth including my next steps to help get me the treatment I needed. I’m already scheduled to see the Endodontist next week to get my root canal. Very pleased with the overall care from this team!

Negative experience: Made an appointment online for 2:30PM on Friday. Showed up for my appointment just for them to close at 1pm on Friday. I should bill you for my gas and time and your office’s incompetence. Get it together and fix this option

Negative experience: Completely unclear about their services in fixing dentures. Would rather make the extra money in selling and a Completely new set of dentures instead of fixing what I have since it wasn't originally made by them.

Fantastic experience: I would just like to share some information about aspen dental.In Marshalltown.Iowa, there are several young ladies at work.There and a dentist, they call him doctor t there's other folks that work there.I'm going to share those names with you.Brenda, Tierrae, Roxy, that's the same name.Doctor t , Abraham, Celeste, Bob and Barb. I hope I didn't miss anyone. But I would like to say that these folks are the most compassionate giving, and loving people that I have ever known for a business.

Fantastic experience: Great group of people at the Marshalltown Iowa location. I had lost a tooth out of one of my dentures and stopped by to get it fixed without an appointment, as I am a truck driver going through the area. They took care of me and had me back on the road in less than an hour.

Negative experience: Had a busted tooth and tried to make an appointment. Thought I had a same day appointment for later that day, then got a call back to reschedule for the next morning due to staffing issues. Arrived for my appointment the next day and as they were xraying me they inform me that I would get evaluated but not worked on by the dentist until a later date. I left and made an appointment with another dentist in town that fixed my tooth with a temporary filling and a follow up for a crown and bridge. Do not go here for immediate attention

Fantastic experience: My denture tooth broke friday night and I called Monday and was told to come and get it fixed. Had to wait a couple hours but came back a couple hours later and it was fixed. I was very thankful that it was good as new.

Negative experience: Brenda The financial person does not respond to emails in a timely manner. she also makes you feel small when you try to rearrange things so your bill so fits your finances. She doesn’t listen to what you want. It just seems like she wants to take the most amount of money from you all at once rather than listening to you. Rest of staff are really nice.

Fantastic experience: I haven't been to the dentist since I was child due to a bad experience, but this was one of the best visits I've ever made to any kind of doctor's office. Tory the dental assistant did a fantastic job explaining the whole process and what we had to do next. She explained what each person coming in to see me was doing and was very professional. The doctor was quick and did a good job of explaining the x-rays and what he recommended for my particular situation. After all the exams were done the dental hygienist did an excellent job of cleaning my teeth and explaining what I coulf do to keep my smile more healthy. Everyone there did a fantastic job and really took care of me.

Fantastic experience: After a very unpleasant ordeal with the Ankey clinic I called Aspen Dental in Marshalltown. Best call I could have made. The staff there goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. Especially after how I was treated in Ankeny. After being told I would have to wait for over 2 weeks to get my new dentures adjusted they extracted 11 teeth only 4 days earlier. They rubbed terribly and would not stay in my mouth.The Marshalltown clinic got me in the next day. I asked them if they could get all my paperwork, xrays, transfered to their clinic, and they made it happen. Very concerned, knowledgable staff from the office manager, assistants to the dentist. Positive experience: The dental assistant and the dentist were great thanks however, I cannot afford over $1000 for a deep cleaning Seems quite high they said it would be three or $4000 above, but my insurance would pay can’t do it when I checked online, it said that cleanings could be up to $400 and ???

Negative experience: Do not go here!!! They’re are a few great people here but the follow-up care is awful and the professionalism is even worse! I hope the good dental assistants get out of there before their reputations are tarnished with this place!

Fantastic experience: The staff at aspen dental did an amazing job!! I took my daughter there because of an abscess tooth. She has very bad anxiety when it comes to dentist. Jessica the aid was very very kind she mad my daughter feel very comfortable the whole time. The dentist did an amazing job with making sure my daughter was comfortable the whole time. Explaining everything he was doing before he was about to do it. The whole time during the extraction he kept asking if she was OK. He was very very kind and was always making sure she was comfortable. I've heard noting but bad stuff about this business and our experience was the opposite of that they did such ana amazing job with my daughter making her feel safe and taken care of. So thank you to Jessica for doing such an amazing job and also to the dentist for making a scared young lady feel safe and taking care of her when she needed it! Great job aspen dental!!

Negative experience: Not recommended at all. Had no issues with the three dentists I dealt with but that is where it stops. One issue after another. Losing the measurements for a crown and not bothering to call. I had to. Then it didnt fit with my partial. Measurements for a new partial. That information lost. I had to call and then back in for measurements again. Showed up for one appointment only to find they had cancelled it. Recently had an appointment scheduled for 11 am. Showed up ten minutes early, checked in advising of such and there for my 11 am appointment. Sat there for 30 minutes. Went to check on status and everyone gone from the front area. Wound up they had me scheduled for 1 pm but I had the text confirming my 11 am appointment. Very frustrated again. Excuse for not informing me of the issue on times was that some folks like to come in early. Two hours early! This was the last straw. Going elsewhere and no doubt they will be pleased!

Choosing color and explaining a few other things was also seamless, I even got some really great news, that they could make my smile look like pre denture life! Fantastic experience: Had my first visit there. It was a very pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly and professional. They performed a very detailed CT-scan screening and provided a complete plan. I return in a weeks time for more work.

Negative experience: Broke a tooth, I’m in pain, got an appointment for the next day. Go through all these X-rays, waiting, total over an hour. They try to upsell some special cleaning plan after taking fancy 3d scans. The Dr sees me for a minute, talks NOTHING about my broken tooth/filling. Just about how bad my teeth are (they are not) and how I needed to buy their special treatment program. Then I wait again. They ask me to see the finance section, and she quotes me $7,500 for things I don’t want!!! I’m like, what about my tooth? Aspen Dental is a business that puts profits before patients. Going here was an incredible waste of time. Set up an appt here if you don’t want to be helped.

Fantastic experience: Today I had to have a tooth pulled and I was a little worried. Didn't need to be because I had a wonderful team! My Doctor was fantastic. He answered all my questions and pulled my tooth. I would recommend this office to anyone that needs a great Doctor and team. Debbie

Fantastic experience: The whole staff was great, but I have to compliment the doctor. He checked on me to make sure I was okay throughout my appointment making me feel good, safe and comfortable.

Negative experience: I went in for cleaning and check up, they do not do cleaning, unless you want a bill for over$2,000. So I got the checkup, and will have to go back to my previous dentist for a cleaning. A waste of my time coming here.

Negative experience: Went in for a filling. Told I have periodontal disease, which I don't. Told until I have deep cleaning, which costs $700 out of pocket (over 2 visits), they wouldn't do my filling. Also told I need several crowns and additional fillings. VERY pushy with unneeded dental work and unethical business practice. I'll NEVER return or recommend Aspen dental, in fact I WILL be warning my family & friends to stay FAR away from this business!
