Weatherford Pediatric Dental Associates

Negative experience: Absolute nightmare. The old lady upfront is the worst person in the world to deal with. Even staff members complained about her while we were being seen. She has no idea how to treat people or manage. She has even ran off good staff members because of her poor attitude and the way she treats them. They will try to bill you more than what the in network agreement is so keep track of what you've paid. They cannot bill you more than what they have contractually agreed upon with the insurance company. Several reviews have mentioned the old lady that does the billing. They need to get her out of there and get someone that understands billing with insurance and how to treat people.

Fantastic experience: The staff and Dr. were so nice and caring, they did amazing job and made sure my daughter was comfortable throughout the entire visit. Very kind people.

Fantastic experience: The staff was very kind and caring towards both of my children but they were really understanding of my child's sensitivities to sounds and I liked that they were willing to work with her through it to make her feel more comfortable. My children also loved the toys and token machine

Fantastic experience: Dr. Westfall and his staff are always so great with our boys. The cleanings are always on time and efficient, but if there are any questions or concerns they take the time you need to answer questions.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to WPDA/Dr. Westfall, since 2018. I have 4 kiddos, aged 4-18, and their TEAM is always amazing! They are all knowledgeable in both front-office roles and dentistry. If we've had an insurance change, they go above and beyond making sure everything is handled and ready to go, before your appointment. They only have one Dr-whom and which we love. He takes his time to get to know his pts, which ultimately helps the Littles feel safe/comfortable. #1: They always make everything so quick and easy!! Wham-bam thank you mam, here is all 4 of your kids’ next appointment see ya then! No waiting with excited kids trying to schedule appointments during chaos lol. You can text them if you have a question or need something-they always answer! Oh… Dr. Westfall is now doing aligners too.

Negative experience: We love doctor westfall he and his staff are amazing. But whoever's covering his office, the guy that we saw yesterday. Not a fan of didn't even introduce himself the appointment went so fast, I honestly don't feel like it was a thorough check or cleaning we normally get appointment cards for next times Reminder and a bag with toothbrushes and stuff. We didn't get nothing, just told, come back in 6 months. So I was kind of disappointed in Yesterday's appointment maybe it was just out of the norm for us. So, it felt off, but We Really missed dr westfall

Negative experience: I’ve been bringing my kids here for years, since they were little and I’ve never once had a bad experience. Until today. The doctor and his assistant were completely unprofessional throughout the entire time. Their personal conversations made my son uncomfortable. The atmosphere did not feel professional. I can’t honestly say that I want to bring my kids back.

Fantastic experience: After calling six other endodontists/dentists, I was so relieved to find WeatherfordPDA. The receptionist was compassionate and got us in the same day, and they also took our insurance and even worked with billing codes. Our normal dentist was not comfortable with my six year old’s abscess/damaged front teeth, but Dr. Westfall certainly was. Calm, caring, listening and offering options for comfort and cosmetic concerns- I was grateful and impressed. The entire staff is friendly, and the practice really is centered on the children and the unique accommodations they need.

Dr. Westfall is amazing and offers solutions that are fair and purposeful. I have been to other pediatric dentists and they just over billed and made me believe there weren’t other options than getting out your wallet. Definitely the best care in Weatherford for children!

Fantastic experience: We had a fantastic experience at Weatherford Pediatric Dental! My 3.5-year-old is usually shy and very nervous, but the staff was so calm, kind, and direct with him, he felt safe and even left smiling. They explained everything in a way he understood and gave him space to warm up. You can tell they’re experts not just in dentistry, but in working with little ones. I was blown away by how smooth the visit went. Highly recommend for anyone with a hesitant little one!

Negative experience: Read reviews about the Dr’s wife/office manager and also about children with adhd and on the spectrum. This was enough for me to say no thank you. And with just a text I already saw the attitude about insurance when I had given them all the info at scheduling and it was verified. I get a the day before, do I have dental insurance for them? So I decided to just cancel and avoid the headache of dealing with an owner that way. I saw it coming when I get a text about insurance when I was already verified.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful experience from start to finish with my son! He has had a bad experience with another local dentist and was scared to go back, the entire staff was wonderful and accommodating, love it here!

Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend this dental office for children who are on the spectrum, have adhd or just have sensory issues in general. We had a very traumatic experience with my 6 year old and the staff was not very empathetic. The office manager (also the dentists wife) was very unprofessional handling the matter.

Fantastic experience: My concerns about my child's teeth were addressed and are being taken care of. I felt heard and they provided a safe space for me to speak openly. We will definitely be returning patients and I do recommend them to any new patients seeking care.

Fantastic experience: We have been searching a dentist for our 6 year old daughter for a while. We have not had the best experiences else where! Dr. Westfall and his staff were so hands on with our daughter explained everything in detail, made us feel so comfortable! We seriously appreciate everyone in this office! If you have a child that is scared of the dentist this is the office for you!

Positive experience: Very nice dentist and staff really cool place for kids. I appreciate that the dentist was honest and told me that one of the teeth our regular dentist said needed treatment didn’t need treatment. The only thing I didn’t love was that I felt a little misled. Because when I scheduled the appointment they told me that it was pretty likely that if I scheduled it early in the morning the dentist would be able to see her and do the treatment the same day. We live about 40 minutes from the office and I have 5 children so we are very busy. The dentist told me that the treatment would only take about 30 minutes so I was surprised that they wouldn’t be able to do it. Also they had to redo my daughters X-rays which I knew they would have to get their own but the girl who was doing them was new and didn’t get good pictures so they did them twice while we were there. I know they are necessary but I want to avoid as much radiation as possible.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Westfall and team are the best. The office is run so efficiently and we always feel very taken care of. My 8 year old son has been seeing Dr. Westfall since he was 4 and we have never had any issues. He feels comfortable in the chair because everyone is so friendly.

Fantastic experience: We're just visiting and my child had a dental emergency. They were able to get us in the same day and from the time I walked in the door to walking out was an hour or less. My child was comfortable and everyone was super understanding, kind, and accommodating. Any time my child needs dental work and we're in this area, we will DEFINITELY come here. Negative experience: Dr Westfall is great, that doesn’t matter though since the manager Patti is horrible to deal with. She harassed me and was extremely unprofessional trying to get me to pay more after I paid in full. After a lot of back & forth she discovered she was incorrect, but never apologized for the rude text messages she sent me. I have all of the proof if Dr Westfall is interested in seeing them, but since she is his wife, I doubt he will do anything about the situation. Look at other negative reviews, this is an ongoing problem. Always take pictures and get copies of your financial agreements and don’t blindly pay without checking first.

I really enjoyed the doctor and his straight forwardness! The staff was extremely helpful with my insurance situation.

Negative experience: This dental office is one of the worst experiences I’ve had as a first time mom. The office manager was extremely rude and didn’t treat me like the first time mom that I am, instead she treated me as though I’ve been through taking my son to the dental office before after being told he’s never seen a dentist before. The doctor was so frustrating, he spoke to my three and four year old boys like they were much older than they are and spoke to them as if they should know exactly what is expected at a dental office. I expressed my wishes to the doctor in regards to fillings instead of caps on my sons teeth, he said they won’t last but whatever I’ll do what you want, verbatim. This office was awful to my boys and me and the doctor had a really rough around the edges personality which I didn’t like around my toddlers. I saw a different pediatric dentist for a second opinion, they completed what my son needed while including my wishes. Needless to say I will never return here and my boys will get the true dental care they need from an office that sees them as toddlers and not teenage boys. If I could leave a review with no stars I would.

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with the staff. Everyone was so nice and attentive to my 1 year old and 3 year old. Definitely made my toddlers feel comfortable getting their teeth checked and cleaned. Great kid friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend this practice.

Negative experience: Dr. Westfall is amazing with my kids. Practice needs to learn how to confirm/verify insurance and payment due at time of visit and relay this to the patient at the time of calling and Confirming the appointment. It’s literally a slap in the face when you go in and have to pay hundreds of dollars without any notice before appointment day. Some families can’t do that and then they waste a day of work/school and have to reschedule.
