Fantastic experience: Dr. Leslie Pitts and staff are so great with all my kids and especially very careful and gentle with my 13th month old daughter that went to see her and to get her teeth cleaned and checked for the first time!

Negative experience: The bad reviews you see are accurate. My fiancé made an appointment here and made it known that my 2 year old has sensory issues with her teeth. Not only did Leslie strong arm my child and made her scream and cry out of terror, she tried forcing an $8,000 procedure, told us there is a chance that my child would not wake up from anesthesia, told us to lie to Medicaid to get emergency coverage for the procedure that even she admitted was not an absolute need, shamed me as a mother for my child’s teeth, shamed me for not immediately signing her up for the procedure as I would be healing from a c section with a newborn, refused to tell us about a treatment they could do that would be cheaper to prevent the decay and cavities from getting bigger until I told my fiancé absolutely not to the surgery, she never addressed my fiancé in the room with me and my child. I don’t know why she seems to think bullying an 8 month pregnant woman over the care of her child and bullying the child was okay to do. Not only did she traumatize my child to the point where she won’t allow me to kiss her cheek or forehead anymore, she made me feel like I didn’t deserve my child and that I was the most neglectful mother on earth. My sole job in this world is to protect and advocate for my children and I was too emotionally distraught over my child possibly dying from anesthesia for three white crowns to stand up for her. Never, and I mean NEVER come here. She doesn’t care if your child has sensory issues unless they have a formal diagnosis. She will try to force you to make a decision immediately without knowing if it is truly emergent or not and she will encourage you to lie to a government agency saying “Go to the health department and tell them it is an emergency procedure. Lie to them to get emergency coverage. I don’t care. Just make sure it gets done.” so insurance will pay for a procedure and she can get paid from it. All progress we have made with brushing teeth is out the window and my daughter does not trust me or her father around her face anymore.

Negative experience: I refuse to do business with someone who threatens my family! I have taken my business elsewhere. Leslie is the worst dentist and I would not recommend her to anyone!

Negative experience: Yall want the real deal about this place? Not what everyone on this review is saying is the truth! I'm surprised this place is still open to be honest. Will be moving all 3 kids away from this place quick fast and in a hurry. Learn how to talk to parents about THEIR kids not yours. Simple, you do your job and keep them slick comments to yourself. Only thing they care about over there is their paychecks period.

Negative experience: Leslie pitts should not be a pediatric dentist. My son had some dental work done and we had to go in for a checkup and my son told her his gums were still sensitive. She told him that his gums were not still sensitive then proceeded to be rough with him and made him cry. On top of that the appointment only took 10 minutes but we waited an hour to be seen. We are done with this office.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pitts and her team were amazing with my daughter. The office felt welcoming as soon as we walked in, and everyone was so kind and patient. My daughter gets nervous sometimes, but they stayed calm, explained everything, and kept her completely comfortable the whole time. You can tell they know how to work with kids. Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic experience: My kids have been going here since my oldest was 5 and she just aged out. Now my 13 yr old and 2 yr old go. Have always had the best experience there. The workers are great and so is Dr. Pitts. We love them all!

Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough about this office. They got me in so quickly at the request on my son’s PCP. The ladies in the front office were so pleasant and quickly got me register and my insurance verified (which is no easy task in just a couple hours), the hygienist was so kind and reassuring, and the Dr. Pitts was very professional, honest, and kind. My son ended up needing to see an oral surgeon, and all these ladies got me in to see one early the next day. They made the called and scheduled the appointment, making it so easy for me. They are so professional and really took my concerns seriously. So thankful that my PCP recommended this group.

Negative experience: So many issues with scheduling over the past 6 months . I come up all the way up here for my scheduled appointment and was told my daughter couldn't be seen .. NO phone call was made, or email!! All bc her cleaning wasn't due for like another week . They also never return the form sent by the school, they claim to never get it!! Customer service and/or policies SUCK!!

Fantastic experience: Very nice, very competent people. I go there with my micro-preemie twin boys (one of them a CI recipient) since years. Both kids suffer from oral aversion and have a hard time at the dentist. The entire dentist crew always has a lot of patience with my boys - I am very grateful.

Fantastic experience: Office was very clean. Everybody was friendly and very patient with my toddler. My kiddo has ASD so when she wouldn’t come out from under the chair, Dr. Leslie met her where she was at. It made for an amazing first visit for my kiddo. Thank you Dr. Leslie and staff!

Negative experience: I had three kids with me, two of them had appointments. The wait time was awful. I was at the office for over 2.5 hours! One had a procedure and the other was for a first time toddler visit. The hygienist kept apologizing saying the Dr was with another young patient and the kid was losing patience. Umm hello so were my kids and myself? I feel like the Dr. could have atleast apologized for our long wait on what was suppose to be a simple check for a 2 year old. She didn’t even come out to talk to me after my other kids extractions. They didn’t even allow me to sit with her during the procedure. I had help with me to stay with my other kids in the waiting room so I could be in the room with her but they didn’t allow it. The front office was nice but I’m upset the hygienist literally made a big deal out of not letting my two year old keep a second toy from the toy chest. After a long visit there and being self pay $118, the LEAST they could have done was let my child have two toys from the dang toy box. Over all I felt the Dr rushed everything and wasn’t personable. Needless to say I don’t recommend and not returning.

Fantastic experience: Lovely experience. Brought my 16 month old granddaughter in for her first dental appointment. She wasn't to happy with the experience, but Dr. Pitts and the assistant handled her well.

Fantastic experience: They are amazing! Everyone is so nice, and you can really tell they care about your child's dental health. My oldest is on the autism spectrum and they do so well with him he’s not afraid of going to the dentist at all. I started bringing him here when he was a young toddler, I was taught how to properly care for his teeth and gums without any judgement. All of my concerns were answered, and everything was explained without any rush. I switched to a dentist closer to home but quickly switched back. Now my son is 4, and I’ll be bringing my youngest here as well!

Negative experience: Long story short… I advocated for my child and wanted her to try a less invasive treatment prior to pulling his tooth and she discharged him from her practice. I do not recommend!

Fantastic experience: My 9 year old was referred here by Dental Home, and today was her first initial appointment. We had a great experience! From the front desk, to the dental assistants, to the Dentist herself, ALL staff members were phenomenal! Dentist Pitts was very informative, and therally explained what we were to expect for future visits. I do wish the visits were not so far away, but that just shows how high demand it is to receive her work!! (And they do contact you if there are cancellations so that's also a plus! I can't wait to see how wonderful they are working on children's teeth!☺️

Negative experience: The front desk staff were kind and professional. The dentist could be more tolerable of children with sensory issues. She was kind otherwise, I suppose. She didn't give my son much time to consent to cleanings before they held him down kicking, crying, and hyperventilating. I didn't say anything about it at the time since I thought this was the norm. I will never regret looking elsewhere as I have found a much more patient dentist. My son loves the dentist now.

Positive experience: Staff is professional but not the most compassionate. Communication issues between front desk and technicians ultimately caused us to switch dentists in the midst of a dental emergency for an established patient.

Fantastic experience: We've been coming to Dr. Pitts for 11 years! Our hygienist today- Lindsey was so sweet and so good with my very wild 4 year old as well as my 17 year old. My boys loved her! Dr. Pitts is great dentist and never recommends treatment that is not 100% needed which I truly appreciate as dentistry can be very expensive!

Positive experience: Dental Techs are very sweet and kid friendly. My child always enjoys watching a movie while getting her teeth cleaned. Dr. Leslie is always so kind and thorough. The wait is sometimes long, but with little ones that is to be expected.

Fantastic experience: I have never been to a place that loves my child like this my daughter is autistic and they talk her through everything today we had her first cavity filled and they are absolutely wonderful with her. I will never be able to tell them thank you enough for how they treat her and myself

Positive experience: It was my daughter’s first time at the dentist and it wasn’t great but it was also not a total disaster. We waited in the waiting room for 25-30 minutes before we were seen. She is 2 yrs old, and was able to get a quick cleaning but she did not have the patience to stick around to see the dentist so we ended our visit early. I wish we were in and out on time.

Negative experience: We have gone to Dr Pitts for 13 yrs now and unfortunately the service and care has declined. The last 3 times we have waited over 30+ minutes for our appt. We have decided to switch dentist because just like their time is valuable, so is mine.
