Fantastic experience: I have a terrible fear when it comes to going to the dentist, do to bad experiences. But I had a wonderful dental hygienist (Amanda) who took her time with applying my crown, explained step by step what she was doing. She really put me at ease . I have to say she is the best hygienist I have ever had! Kudos to you Amanda you are awesome! Thank you kindly Candace Coulter

Fantastic experience: As long as Dawn and Dr. Patel (very gentle -- he replaced a sealant and I felt nothing) are here, I don't see myself leaving. I will elaborate further on Dawn since she is the dental hygienist, so most of my appointments have been with her. Dawn clearly has experience and a wealth of knowledge (this woman really knows her stuff -- I learned things from her about my teeth and gums I have never before heard, and I'm old enough that there have been plenty of opportunities to hear them elsewhere!), and she is pleasant. She also is gentle and is considerate. Just these things are great. But on top of that -- what I think really sets her apart -- is her commitment to provide evidence-based care. I realize that, sadly, pretty much all of medicine and I guess dentistry as well is headed in the direction of being corporatized/monetized...to the point where I, as a patient, find myself increasingly with my guard up wondering if recommendations are best for me as a patient or best for a practice's bottom line. As a patient, the hope is that a physician/PA would remember the Hippocratic Oath, and that dental clinicians would also keep in mind their own Principles of Ethics. My point in saying all of this is to highlight Dawn as an exception to this: I don't feel like I have to have my guard up during my appointment with Dawn. She takes the time to educate me and gives me her professional opinion whether something might be beneficial for my dental health. Sometimes that has meant that maybe I do NOT need something their clinic offers. This, to me, represents someone who thinks logically and uses evidence as the foundation. I have so much respect for this, and it is how, as a clinician, you earn the trust of your patients. And trust from patients will bring the business to you as a practice without having to seek it out. Please, do not give me x-rays if I don't need them just because you can bill for them. Please, do not sell me something I do not need. I so much appreciate that Dawn does not do these things or any other things that fall into the same category. She treats me and my dental health as a unique situation, rather than just like a warm body in her chair to sell stuff to. Because the thing is, when I DO need something -- let's be honest, as we age, even with the best effort, so many of us are going to need some sort of dental procedure or device -- I will certainly seek out Dawn and Dr. Patel for whatever that is, because I trust that what Dawn has been recommending is truly what is best for my health. This is probably the longest review I've ever written on here, but it's something I feel pretty strongly about.

The staff was welcoming; very educated about services and ptocedures .They were able to answer my questions and concerns completely and compassionately.. the office has various Financial Services to assist with an affordable way to obtain my dental needs goals and procedures. Negative experience: I like Dr Barroso and my hygienist but they will come up with some bogus charges. What should be free, like a routine cleaning, will cost you.I thought I had found a dentist I could stay with but seems like I need to keep looking.

Negative experience: New patient's beware. I just wanted a cleaning. Paid $187 for a "diagnostic" of what's all wrong with me. I already know these things. An hour in and i asked about the cleaning, "not today, need to come back for that." It wasn't clear that i would not be getting a cleaning at this appointment. Didn't get what i wanted and what i scheduled. So frustrating.

Positive experience: I switched to Concourse Dental because my previous dentist dropped United Concordia. I have had a deep cleaning to address a few deeper pockets and all has gone well. I also have had a crown put on and it was the first time I have ever had a crown put on where it fit perfectly and no adjustments were necessary for the bite. I do feel that they try and upsell some stuff like fluoride and some other stuff that insurance doesn’t cover. Still overall I am pleased with the level of service I have received. I would definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs. Refused to give basic cleaning unless did the much more expensive deep cleaning. It’s all about the money with this group.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and efficient staff that all seem to help each other. Very positive experience. Really take the time to review xrays and imaging. Seems fair pricing. I've always been leary of the padding of costs in dentristy but this business seems on the level to me.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this place and my dental hygienist is the best!! Not only looks like my son which was cool but at the same time he was quick on the cleaning... he cared about my feelings during the process... cared about if I was feeling any pain... he was very attentive and I'm definitely never going anywhere else!! I highly recommend this Dentist if you're looking for excellent dental care and you have a gigantic fear of needles and drills!

They value your comfort and make sure you are enjoying your visit. I was blessed to interact with Ms. Dawn, Dr. Patel and Ms. Mikaela and the receptionist who greeted me. If I could give this team 100 out of a 100 I would. Absolutely phenomenal people. I look forward to our future appointments.

Negative experience: I am not giving it but one star. I went in there to get a cleaning, and was told that the next patient was there. That I was to come back tomorrow 9/10/2025, or they would make me an appointment. I ask what happened to my cleaning. I walked out and will never go back. All they care for is the future, not way you are there. They lost my husband and I as patients. I know that you don't care but I will NEVER go back.

Fantastic experience: I cracked a tooth and was in a great deal of pain. They got me in quickly and since I have an unreal fear of the dentist, they did everything to make me comfortable and finished quickly.

Positive experience: Nice staff, very engaging, nice office— unfortunately after getting multiple reminders about my appt, they were short staffed that day, and I could only half complete what I went to do..and I have to go back to complete the visit. Negative experience: I moved from Family Dental to Concourse Dental to try to get a smaller practice, not so much focus on money vs care. Concourse is the same. There is a fine line to good care and making lots of money and I have lots of issues where that line is drawn. The care is pretty good but the money is always being shoved down your throat........ Looking for a single practitioner, mom and pop shop...

Made her feel comfortable got her in in a day and it's refreshing to see an office not over book and got her in the very next day I called ! Good pricing as well very fair for what they do! Fantastic experience: My dentist abruptly closed his office and left his patients to scramble to find another dentist. I read the reviews for Concourse Dental so I tried them. They got me in right away to do the work I had been scheduled for with my other dentist. The office is run very efficiently -- I was seen within minutes of arriving on all three of my visits so far. The staff made great efforts to contact my insurance company and was able to get that vast majority of the work needed (two crowns, a build-up and two cavities) covered by insurance. Dr. Barroso reversed my former dentist's assertion that a broken tooth had to be pulled and, instead, saved the tooth, thereby saving me about $2,400.00. Both she and Dr, Patel were obviously accomplished, the equipment is state-of-the-art and the dental technicians, Kami and Christina were as good as they come. I wouldn't hesitate to use them if I were you.

Fantastic experience: Have not seen a dentist properly in yrs, seen their ad on social a decided to check into them as I suffer periodontal a they work with it. Was able to b seen soon enough and the staff has been amazing and makes u feel comfortable. I have major anxiety with dentist but after goin 2days in a row for appointments with them I feel calm their a they talk to u not at u. Big plus. Extremely happy with my new dentist looking forward to a new smile

Fantastic experience: All around wonderful experience. I was greeted as soon as I entered and the checkin process took just a few minutes. I was treated by Crystal and it felt so welcoming. She never rushed me through anything and took time to explain each step. It felt like my care was a priority and not just rushing in the next patient. Dawn came in to do my probing and I had no discomfort. I'm coming back next month and have much less anxiety than before. Would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a more personable experience.

Fantastic experience: Had my 1st appointment today and Brittney at the desk was so nice! Also the hygienist was super patient with me I have a horrible reflex and they both teamed up to help me get the exam comfortably. And got my teeth cleaned the same appointment. Super clean office too.

Fantastic experience: It is unfortunate that they are not in my network for my insurance policy. That being said they were able to get me in and I just paid cash, which I will say was extremely reasonably priced compared to what I was expecting. I needed a cleaning and exam for my son prior to getting braces and the place we used to go to in Jacksonville was booked out for 6 months which seemed to be typical for that office. I was able to book this about two or so weeks out and was very happy with them having availability. The hygienist was excellent and did a great job. The office employees were very helpful and friendly. Dr. Patel did the exam and gave some solid advice moving forward regarding future treatment for my son. If they ever change to my insurance provider I will absolutely take my family here. Excellent service and advice.
