Fantastic experience: Sandcreek feels like family. We have been going there for 15-20 years, through many dentists, though some of the same hygienists are still there! They’ve known my kids, who are in their late 20s, since they were young. Now my younger kids go, and are in their teens having been regular patients since they were each 3 years old. The hygienists, particularly, take an interest in our lives, and every 6 months we need to catch up! I appreciate the personal care, even throughout all the dentist changes.

Positive experience: I felt like I wasn’t completely told about the details of my appointment. I was informed it was an annual cleaning. Instead the hygienist had informed me it was a deep cleaning. So I had to rescheduled again after already rescheduling a few times per the office.

Fantastic experience: I called because I had an urgent dental need and they got me established within 24 hours to ensure I was able to get in and be seen right away! The secretary that helped me was amazing, they sent all the paperwork before hand for an easy check in, and the staff I encountered were great! I’m sad I don’t remember anyone’s names to give specific shout outs! They checked my insurance promptly, brought me a quote, and explained everything in great detail! I am happy I made the switch! Fantastic experience: I came in for an emergency tooth extraction. The circumstances weren't ideal because I travel for work and was out of state but they were able to accommodate me regardless of the circumstances... Which was fantastic because I was in a tremendous amount of pain. Thanks to the assistant and the dentist who extracted my tooth last week!

Fantastic experience: I called Sand Creek Family Dental on Tuesday because I had a painful abscess tooth. They were able to make a consult appointment for the next morning. Once I got there I saw Dr Khan and he worked me into his already busy schedule and pulled it while I was there. He did a great job and the extraction did not hurt me at all. The area was very swollen and painful. Today (the following day) it is already feeling better. The swelling is down and I am feeling less pain. Dr Khan personally called to check on me earlier today to see how I was doing. He and the rest of the staff are amazing!! I will definitely go back for all my future dental needs!!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to Sand Creek Dental ever since I was a little girl, even before it was Sand Creek Dental (when it was still Roufs). I've always had a good experience. The friendly staff is a big reason why I have always enjoyed my dental visits. I also appreciate their thorough work and care in my dental hygiene. I have an unpopular opinion of actually looking forward to my dentist appointments. Shoutout to Lisa -- she's the absolute best! Anna is great, too! (She was my hygienist when I was a little girl.) Her and Dr. Bret are the OG's, and a (big) part of why I don't fear going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a long time patient of Dr Rijal in Wichita so when he moved to Newton my husband and I naturally followed. The staff at Sand Creek goes over and above to make you feel welcome and comfortable throughout your entire procedure. I needed two crowns and they were able to not only clean my teeth, but also fit me in to do my crowns all in the same day! They have a beautiful office and everyone has a very professional friendly attitude. Can’t recommend them enough!

Fantastic experience: Can't say enough good things about Sand Creek Dental! The hygienist are very nice and competent. They are understanding if there's been a gap in formal dental care and are very helpful to help get you back on a good standing with your dental health. The staff that help with dental procedures are also very good at their jobs and I appreciate them so much, especially as I tend to have a good amount of nerves due to bad experiences in childhood. They do a wonderful job and Dr. Rijal is great!

Fantastic experience: As a mom of 3 I definitely neglected my own oral health and hygiene for a solid 3 years, I was nervous to go in because I knew I was going to need a lot. My treatment plan was a deep cleaning and fill two cavities. We broke the deep cleaning up in 2 sessions and I was really scared of being in pain. Devan provided me with so much information and such a calming environment. From start to finish I felt relaxed, I completely understood what was happening, and I felt more than just a number. I’ve said this before but Sand Creek goes above and beyond to make you feel more than just a patient and I really appreciate it. So extra thankful for Devan and team! ❤️

Fantastic experience: As a mom of three 4 and under going to any kind of appointments can feel like pure chaos.. but Sand Creek Dental made our first visit an absolute cake walk. They have a cute little area for littles to play and color while we waited and then going back to have our teeth counted was a fun experience my boys (3 and 4) are still talking about it! Everyone there gave us such a personable, welcoming, and fun visit. Not to mention the prize tower at the end was an easy highlight for the kids and it’s got them excited about better dental hygiene. I am so thankful and blessed for Sand Creek Dental team they sure have a special place in my mama heart!

Fantastic experience: As a dental professional.. we still get cavities from time to time. We don’t always like getting them filled either.. but Dr. Rijal is so good! Very detail oriented. Clean work. Even though I know what’s going on, he still explained it to me- made sure I was very comfortable and still made my experience as wonderful as it could be. I am proud to say I work with such amazing doctors who care for their patients and can proudly stand behind their work.

Fantastic experience: I have recently been through a lot of dental trauma with a previous dentist and felt serious angst about approaching the correction. I had to first call my Dental insurance company, which provided a 3-way call with Samantha at Sand Creek. She totally worked to put me at ease over the phone after hearing the short version of a long dental story. I booked the appointment and was tended to, by a 21-year veteran dental hygienist at Sand Creek, Lisa. She was methodical and caring and took her time to let me look at the X-rays. She drew pictures and showed me information about the issues that needed correcting. I learned some things about my teeth care that had never been explained. Lisa was a good and patient teacher. I felt very safe with her dental guidance. I then met Dr. Sujan Rijal. He will be the one to correct the issues, and I appreciated the way he came around and faced me, made eye contact, and again, went into teaching mode as he explained the situation. I could tell he's experienced and well-versed in his craft. He wasn't rushed and did a thorough examination of what needed to be done to correct the dental issues. overall, I am hopeful that in the next few appointments, I could be back to normal.

Negative experience: I’ve been with sand creek since I was little. However, it is not the same quality that I knew. The current Dr. botched a filling on my father, sister, and my teeth. It’s been 2 months, multiple attempted fixes, and I am still experiencing pain. They recommended fillings when the cavity hadn’t broken the enamel. Fillings are not a permanent fix and should not be done when the cavity hasn’t broken then enamel. The Dr. and nurse were very pressuring and not respectful when I said I didn’t want them to do another filling. I’ve since reached out to two other dentist offices and they agreed that sand creek should not have done this filling. My wife and I will not be coming back here. If you’re looking for a dentist with a good reputation, consider Maple Dentistry. My wife has gone there since she was little and has had only positive experiences.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I transferred to Sand Creek Family Dental today and found the experience outstanding. The Hygienists were thorough, friendly and helpful. My wife is physically impaired due to a stroke and the Hygienist was perfect in managing her limitations. The Doctor was helpful in providing feedback to manage our care. My only suggestion would be for the facility to add handicap door opening devices so we can get into the lobby more efficiently. Thank you for a fine dental experience.
