Fantastic experience: I went to grand avenue dental today for the the first time ,I have a crown that's giving me grief. The staff was friendly and professional .they took xrays and gave me a slim consultation.i was impressed I will be making another appt.in a couple weeks to get further work done the xray tech was great as was the dentist I saw. I recommend this office you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly atmosphere. Staff was great and friendly. Dr Clancy is very professional and detailed with procedures. Questions answered with professional guidance. Recommend her for any assistance with your teeth. Dental assistants are very qualified and talk you through everything. Very impressive overall.

Fantastic experience: I called in this morning to let them know i had a sharp piece on my tooth that was bothering me and i was going to be in the area for another appointment- I asked if possible to fit me in and they did. They made sure they helped me out and got me to my next appointment on time. I greatly appreciated them taking the time and making it work for me. Fantastic experience: So glad I made the decision to visit Grand Avenue Dental, as a new patient. I felt as comfortable as possible with each person I encountered, including Dr. Clancy. Having anxiety over dentistry is common, but it started to melt away while speaking with both the dentist and his wonderful assistant. Great choice I made!

As an anticipated challenging patient with numbing - I was listened to, not rushed or pushed into tolerating pain to forge on with a procedure. Negative experience: I have had trust issues with dentists for various reasons. And while I have had many good visits here, I had a new dentist today. It appeared as though they were no longer focused on client experience/needs but rather on filling their schedule. When I confronted their discrepency/ inconsistency, they kicked me out the door. I recommend another dentist if you need to feel like you can trust your dentist like a friend/neighbor..... go somewhere else

Fantastic experience: I chipped a tooth, and the office staff got me in right away. Dr. Clancy was able to fix my tooth for me. He and his assistant (I want to say Allison, but have a horrible memory), worked so well together. Grand Avenue Dental Care is a wonderful place and the dentists and staff are very compassionate to patient"s needs. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: This dental clinic has helped me twice now with some urgent needs. They got me in quickly, treated me with kindness and were accommodating with my wheelchair needs. Dr. Shinn is gentle, thorough and professional!! I would definitely recommend her and Grand Avenue Dental clinic!!

Negative experience: My husband had to cancel his appointment less than 48 hours in advance. When he got to work the morning of his appointment, he was scheduled for a job that made it impossible for him to make the appointment in time. They are charging us $25 for this!! If he was sick would that have been charged?? I know it's an inconvenience for them but he has no control over where his employer sends him for the day!!

Fantastic experience: Super helpful and friendly from start to finish! We had a great first time experience after our insurance went out of network with our previous dentist. We had a bit of an emergency and they got us switched and seen same day!

Positive experience: I had a couple disappointing experiences. In the middle of my cleaning, the hygienist had me make my next appt. Since I needed my glasses, phone & had to sit up, it would have been much more convenient to wait until she finished my cleaning. I also thought the cleaning was rushed & a bit careless.

Fantastic experience: Always good about if I need anything and make sure I'm comfortable. Did their best to work fast and get the job done.

Positive experience: The dentist is great. Front desk staff is great. Carol Lee is a problem. She was rude. She criticized for having dyslexia. She rolls her eyes and she honestly left me with a bad taste in my mouth metaphorically.

Fantastic experience: I'm get anxiety with dental. Especially with the drill, I needed a crown on a weakened tooth that broke. This was my first time here and it was FABULOUS!!! Everyone I encountered was nice I also liked how it was same day crown,so one visit and done. The Dr explained everything she was doing, amd kept checking to see if I was okay. :) I would highly recommend this place to people looking for a dentist. And if you have to pay out of pocket their pricing is also great. My anxiety was not as bad as it had been in the past with Dental visits.

Negative experience: Grand Avenue Dental is absolutely TERRIBLE! The dentists are rough and the staff is extremely rude. I have been going to Grand Avenue Dental Care for about 6 years. And I have had more bad experiences than good. I had to have a crown last week and was there for almost 4 hours. Dr. Shinn who did the work was one of the worst dentist's I have ever seen. Both Dr. Shinn (another new dentist to the practice) and the assistant were extremely rough. They cut my gums, over extended my jaw when trying to inject nova cane, pinched my lip several times with dental tools, pulled the side of my mouth so hard I thought my lip was going to tear. A week later and my jaw still hurts to open and I can't open it all the way. The crown that was replaced, is in need of a root canal as it is now sensitive to hot and cold. (My last 3 crowns I had done here all needed root canals) I called and spoke with Devon to try and set up an appointment to confirm I need a root canal and she was extremely rude and could cared less. The first appointment I was unable to make due to another family obligation, the next soonest appointment was a week away. She blamed me for not being able to make the first appointment, and could have cared less that they could not get me in any sooner or the urgency of the appointment needed. This is not the first time I have dealt with Devon being rude this has happened on several occasions with the last 3 crowns needing root canals. This place is a revolving door with dentists. The one good dentist they had left as well. I don't know how many new dentists they have hired in the 6 years I have been there but it's been quite a few and they have all been terrible and fresh out of dental school. They are only open 4 days a week, and don't do anything to accommodate their patients for emergency situations. They also do not understand your insurance benefits. My particular insurance you get a certain amount of benefits every 2 YEARS and it renews on the even years. They told me I get that amount every year which is not the case. Needless to say my entire family has found a new dentist that our friend referred us to and they have welcomed us with open arms, and have been beyond helpful and accommodating unlike Grand Avenue Dental.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful friendly staff. Great for adults and kids. The kids love picking from the prize bin after a successful visit. I enjoy the massage chairs while getting worked on, and of course the complimentary water bottle and freshly baked cookies!

Negative experience: Terrible place to go. They took my girls cap off during a cleaning cause the person never looked at her chart to know she had a cap. Then proceeded to say it's fine your just going to have to have it fixed at a different time. They need to take responsibility for their actions but they never do. On top of that she went back to get a mold today n they ripped the cap off again,this time the rest of the tooth came with it. What are they doing? They are just leaving her to sit alone in the chair bloody. Terrible place to go with even worse staff.

Negative experience: The last time I was there for a cleaning I was told I needed three teeth filled with no explanation by a female dentist. I went for a second and third opinion at other dentists in the lake country area and was told I didn’t need anything done by both. The dental hygienists there were always awesome however. . Switched over to a different office.

Fantastic experience: My daughter Katerina is an adult with Down Syndrome. We went here when we moved to Hartford because they’re close by so glad we went without a referral of any kind and could not be happier. Katerina always comes out with a smile on her face and a beautiful one thanks to their kindness and doing a fantastic job keeping her smile looking great. Side note we were there today and while I was waiting an older couple came in with no appointment and even though they’re booked up they found a way to squeeze them in. Pretty awesome !

Positive experience: Very friendly staff. The new Dentist was thorough and knowledgeable. 4 not 5 Because minor equipment malfunction. All equipment should be checked before patients arrive. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Took my daughter to get some fillings and she was pretty nervous. Sarah was her hygienist and she took the time to explain everything, be silly with her, and help her feel at ease. I have always hated the dentist personally, but since starting with Grand Ave, not only do my kids go there, but I return each time for my appointments too!

Fantastic experience: Grand Avenue Dental was able to get me in same day for a complicated issue I had with a tooth. The dentist explained everything to me and helped me choose the best treatment. The lab technician made me a temporary device to hold my missing tooth while I waited. So thankful to not have to walk around toothless while I wait for the next steps.

Fantastic experience: Our first visit for my son. His molars came in with very weak enamel so we’ve got some work to do as he will still have them another 8 years before his adult teeth come in. The people at Grand Ave were wonderful and offered a very easy and affordable plan for us vs the first recommendation that I was given by a different dentist in town. They are saving me a lot of money and headache. They were incredibly kind and fun to work with. Appreciate Melissa and Dr Leah!

Negative experience: This is the worst dental care place in Hartford, WI.. Only after your money/ insurance They boast about their yearly free day and how they go to another country to help the poor, it's all a tax write off .. BEWARE
