Fantastic experience: The staff at my local Great expressions in Liberty NY are very knowledgeable people. They have made me feel comfortable and welcome on each of my appointments. If you have family members that needs dental work done and want to meet delightful staff at this location, please bring in your family members and friends. Please come and visit this location. Negative experience: Do not book an appointment here at all costs. The hygienist is amazing and we love her. However they reschedule appointments all the time, literally. Every appointment I've made for the last 3 years was rescheduled (and I have 3 kids). They do not call to verify your appointment time and cancel, then blame you. On top of that they make you sign a waiver that if you do not show up or verify your appointment they'll charge you, how rediculous considering they can't keep the appointments. Next, I've had my children there religiously every 6 months. Since they cancelled my last appointment I scheduled with Beacon dental - that's right. I drove from Liberty to Beacon for a dentist appointment (which was the best decision). When I took my child there they asked when the last dental visit was and I told them 6 months ago and they couldn't believe it. She had 3 cavities, how? This facility does not do complete/ proper work on teeth nor do they care for their clients. Just don't go here.

Negative experience: One of the worst dental offices and companies, you could use you wait month at the clip for our appointment and then they call you a few days before to cancel your appointment and tell you you can make an appointment with another One of their facilities and wait another couple months don’t know how this place is still open if they had a -10 star, I will give them that

Negative experience: I had an appointment and showed up for it. They sent me away due to a water issue. I rescheduled. They called to confirm. I called them back and left a message. They canceled my second appointment anyway because supposedly I didn't let them know I was coming. I've been a loyal client of theirs for almost 11 years, have always shown up to my appointments, but I'm never going back. They only care about money.

Fantastic experience: Pamela was a wonderful hygienist! I appreciated her care and thoroughness. The new cleaning technique she used was painless and had my teeth sparkling! The receptionist was also wonderful. I like the new text message appointment system. I was able to add it directly to my calendar.

Fantastic experience: I just had a wonderful cleaning of my teeth! Great Expressions of Liberty utilizes the latest and most-advanced teeth cleaning machines. No more having your teeth scraped by the hygienist, as these latest machines not only do the job but do it even more effectively! Because of my wonderful experience with my cleaning as well as with the staff, I highly recommend Great Expressions of Liberty to you and your family!

Negative experience: this place is not taking new patients or you have to wait 2-6 month for the next appointment Smh this is ridiculous Sullivan county is a trap it not enough of the important things or needs being met for the people it so sad

Negative experience: I made an appointment months ago as there was a very long wait to be seen. I'm talking probably 6 months. They had the audacity to call me two weeks before my appointment to say the dentist retired and they could not accommodate the appointment. This is a place I have received services at. This is also a place that leaked it's patient's and my, personal information two years ago leading to a huge class action lawsuit. This place is a disaster.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Took me in on schedule. The dentist was very attentive, worked quickly with no pain. Wonderful experience.

Negative experience: Beware of this dental practice. My husband went here. Totally missed an infection in the bone under a tooth that had issues. Prepaid $1200 for dental work that he canceled after they lost the same impressions three times. They refused to refund any of the money.

Negative experience: I had to cancel the appointment as well for today due to a bad snow weather condition and asked to reschedule another appointment in later time - the receptionist told me that they will be a $35 upfront fee for cancellation and the roads are “clear “ , but it is just started to get worse — This never happened to me before that I have been their patient for 5 years ! So right now with that , I am changing dentist because I never had experienced something like that for safety of me and my family with a severe winter weather that I do not feel safe to be driving ! How inconsiderate ! I rather be safe than sorry !

Negative experience: I made an appointment here a month ago as I was going to be a new customer. Less than 24 hours before my appointment they call to tell me that they don’t have doctor for tomorrow and that they have to cancel my appointment. She then continued to tell me that she wouldn’t reschedule me and that she advised me to go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: My experience today with the new hygienist, and the new way they clean teeth was exceptional. She was very very good , kind , patient and friendly . The staff were patient , and very knowledgeable. They helped me understand so much about upcoming work .

Once my insurance changed I had to find another location. Thought not as fancy it's more family and friendly atmosphere. And the service is very Thorough no rush! Positive experience: My appointment went well once my favorite hygienist heard my voice from another room and realized that whoever called me in had mixed up my chart with another patient who had a similar name. Negative experience: Dentist was rude and unprofessional, he Told me my sons tooth couldn't be fixed and had to be pulled. All with an attitude, he did not explain anything to me. So we Went to touro dental, they said no problem saving the tooth and there was no way they would pull it on someone so young. I wasn't going to leave a review but that dentist rubbed me wrong. The assistant however was very nice and tried to explain what was going on after the dentist left

Fantastic experience: I just had a filling fixed earlier this week by Dr. Gordon. Some of it broke off during flossing. I panicked and immediately started looking for a dentist’s office in the area. This office was literally minutes away from where I was planning to be on the day of the visit, so I decided to reach out and schedule an emergency appointment via their website the evening when I lost some of the filling. The office personnel had reached out to me early morning the next day and to my relief were able to schedule me for the same day procedure! Dr. Gordon is relaxed, soft spoken, definitely seems to know what he is doing. I was extremely nervous because it was my first time at this office and I had just moved to the area not long ago after having the same dentist do the work for me for many years. Dr. Gordon was professional, quick, and in the matter of several minutes I was all set! What a relief! I’m very grateful for the wonderful experience! Thank you GEDC!

Negative experience: This is a horrible horrible practice, the receptionists are extremely rude, nasty, lazy and unprofessional, they hardly pick up the phone when you call, and when you leave a message they never get back to you! They cancelled my kids appointments so many times and it's unbelievable. To me the people in the front desk don't like to work and they hate to be borthered but when it comes to money I bet they all love it and still expect to get paid. Horrible! I hope they'll learn and know how to do their job right.

Fantastic experience: I was nervous about a new dentist after reading reviews, but my experience was great. Friendly staff, dental hygienist and Dr Artisanna was so nice and welcomed me to the group. Exam and cleaning was thorough.

Negative experience: Facility should be closed. Have 2 brocken fillings and can't schedule dentist. Staff do not answer phone or voicemails and i have been trying multiple times for a week already. Had to stop in person try get scheduled. I get a hygonist appt but refusal get appt for dentist fix. Best results go elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: In a nutshell I cracked loose an old filling Sunday night and with one phone call Monday morning I was in to see Dr. A who fixed it better than new BEFORE noon that day. I understand that everyone's experiences vary but I have brought my wife and three kids to the Liberty NY office for over three years now and NEVER had a bad experience.

Negative experience: UPDATE (AGAIN)9/25/24 Amazing! I don't receive calls regarding appointments, but you leave a negative review, you Immediately get contacted! Basically, she was giving the scripted response of "how can we make this right?" Well, I told her i could not talk that moment I was driving. SHE stated that she could call me in an hour and discuss this. I responded fine. An hour came and went, then two three.... It is now the next day, 24 hrs. later. I have still not heard from them. This place is terrible. I would not even accept a free toothbrush from them. It's your mouth, if you want to let these people work on you be my guest. NOT ME! I FORGOT TO MENTION THEY ALSO HAD A DATA BREACH! I RECIEVED NOTICE IN THE MAIL. SO, IF THEY CAN'T EVEN PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFO, YOU EXPECT THEM TO HELP PROTECT YOUR TEETH! HA HA. UPDATE 9/24/24 You send info they request to their email and you get the typical "boiler plate answer" that it may take up to 30 days to respond. This place must be really bad or they just don't give a damn about you. Really you want to let this place work on your body? Not me. Totally give up with this office. There always seems to be some issue here when I attempt to go. I made a 40 mile round trip to be told that "the hygienist is out" Would it have made sense to call me? You have my email, my cell and my home phone #'s to call and a message could have been left. I was once 15 minutes late. I was told I had to be rescheduled. REALLY? I couldn't havejust been swapped with the person that went in my place? Then my reschedule was 4 months out. THEN I finally got in had my exam to be told the xray doesn't work. What sense was it to get the examination? (Now it reminds me) I have to contact my insurance to make sure they didn't bill them for the x-ray. Now it's early August and for a routine cleaning and exam I have to wait till end of November? I'm away out of state. This place is a joke. I won't even deal with any of these dentists in their other offices. I found it easier to make the 2+ hr trip to Queens, NYC to go to my old dentist , and I get in within 7-10 days.

Negative experience: The staff was nice dentist however spent the first part of my appointment talking down to me about getting my sons teeth fixed took unnecessary X-rays then told me while talking down to me I had to go to another dentist as they both wouldn’t try helping my son. He’s autistic so when I set up the appointment I made sure that if necessary they could use nitrous or whatever they use now so I could get fillings for him just in case he wouldn’t sit still they said yes set up the appointment and essentially made him wait an additional two weeks to help him only to essentially not offer the services they said they do. Can’t respect people who do this. Glad you made your money!

Fantastic experience: I just had a root canal & a post put in . I am so happy with my dentist at Great Expressions. Dentist Anthony is so courteous & calm. He made me feel very content and comfortable while he did the procedure. What a Great Dentist!!!!!

Negative experience: Dont bring your kids here. Pediatric dentists, hygienists, and assistants should understand how to make a 2 year old feel safe and comfortable on their first visit to the dentist. Instead, without introduction or explanation, they got down to business stuffing fingers and tools into my daughter's mouth. When she got upset they decided not to bother trying an actual cleaning or polishing. At the end one of the assistants told my daughter that if she didn't leave the office that my wife was going to leave without her! Then made a comment that my daughter "has to get whatever she wants". In what universe is any of this remotely appropriate? Disgusted. Appalled. Certainly never coming back. Save your time and your kids. Find somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: While waiting for the appointment in the office. I would like all the paperwork for approval of the procedure. Not laying my my back signing papers. Also, having the recovery information before the procedure, I could have planned for the recovery. I know all dentist offices do it this way. Not good.

Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed in the service here a few years back this place was amazing the last two year have not been good whatsoever the amount of messages I leave and calls I have to make to get someone on the phone only to be left on hold or not have a phone call return is horrific.I don't recommend this office there lack of communication is awful seek treatment else where. And please spare me the return comment apologize for the way I was treated.Your office is more then aware of the lack of communication, I was informed by your office manager of a refund and have yet to receive it because of the poor work you office did and I have been left to wait since August of 2023 with no call back or response to my emails or phone calls.

When I said plus stop talking about this my child is right here she ignored my request.. They wasted my time for 3 days of driving a total of 3 hours. To be given antibiotics with the dentist in the Bmw truck saying he didn’t look at the X-rays from a week ago. Stay away!!

Negative experience: Great Dentist, HORRIBLE RECEPTIONISTS!! They will cancel your appointment while on your way (Literally on my way to them, & they call to cancel.) Then, when you need their service, GFYS! Lost a filling in September 2023, called them for help. They would not help me until I had a cleaning(The one I was on my way too when they called and canceled!) They made me a March 2024 appointment!! Called Gold's Dental, and they got me right in. Great Expressions is a conglomerate, taking people out of dental school, who then leave them high and dry! LOOK FOR A REAL DENTIST!

Negative experience: Waited 6 months to get a cleaning. Was told the Friday before my appointment on Tuesday that they have to cancel because the hygienist is on vacation. They won't reschedule me for a day I can go in till mid next month. They refuse to take care of my tooth issues till the cleaning but couldn't tell me sooner so I could get a sooner appointment. They don't care about their customers. We need a new dental practice in the area.

Negative experience: My experience on April 11, 2023 was atrocious. My hygienist tortured me. She was rough, she was unfriendly, she was rushing, and she seemed to disregard the fact that I was on a blood thinner. I had a mouthful of blood, and she didn’t seem to care. We had a discussion about x-rays that I didn’t want because I’d had several this year. When I found out my dental x-rays were two years old I said OK do it. And she said no. Consequently when the dentist came in to examine me, he said I had an abscess. He was looking at x-rays that are 2 years old and the hygienist didn’t correct him. My experience was so bad that I will be looking for another dentist.

Negative experience: Cleaning went well, I was told the dentist would be with me shortly for my exam and after 30 minutes of sitting in the chair waiting for him I got up and left. No one so much as even checked in on me the entire time or let me know he was running behind.

Negative experience: We've called multiple times with only an answering machine answering left message and no call back. No other dentist local is taking new patients so we have to drive an hour from home with gas prices going up.

Fantastic experience: I came all the way from Binghamton to have a couple of molars extracted under sedation because I have severe dental anxiety. The oral surgeon and his team were extremely professional they gave me oxygen monitored my heart rate it was like I was in a hospital. I had minimal pain afterwards and day 2 I am pain free.Thank you oral surgeon for super anxiety free visit and your second opinion on those 5 unnecessary root canals that were recommended by a money hungry dentist in the Binghamton area. I will be calling you to finish my dental work in the near future. An honest Medicaid dentist is hard to find let alone one that does sedation and has nitrous for all us chickens out there

Negative experience: I would leave zero stars if I could. I just called the dental office in liberty and the receptionist immediately asked why I was calling. I said I recieved an email to schedule an appointment and she said they weren't accepting new patients. I told her online it said they were and she flippantly responded "Well this just started yesterday." How convenient! I explained to her that I had been seen there before in 2014 and at the monticello office to get my wisdom teeth out. She was able to confirm that and still said no to making an appointment. I'm so disappointed in the lack of professionalism here. If you are not accepting new or old patients back please let the public know!

Fantastic experience: Dr Danas and the dental assistant were professional, polite and directly open to all my questions. Dr Danas was very responsive to my comfort (concerning pain) during my root canal. Both the assistant and Dr Danas also gave additional quality post procedure information. I am looking forward to receiving my permanent crown. The receptionist/financial administrator was able to research and load my new, secondary insurance; which could save me an additional $750, if required. I couldn't be more pleased.
