Fantastic experience: This was an all around great experience. Personally I have had a fear of dentists my entire life, but this was completely different. All of the staff was great and made sure I was relaxed and taken care of and the dentist himself couldn't have been any better. I am more than thankful for the care I got at Aspen Dental and highly recommend them to anyone with any dental issues.

Negative experience: I had no other choice, but to come here Because of their same day appointment. I had four teeth pulled, and it felt like I was just another name on a list. I told them I was very nervous and they barely cared. I don’t even know the doctors name cause he didn’t say. he didn’t explain anything to me, He didn’t give me any post care. He barely spoke to me at all. I got up to spit and even the nurses were pretty standoffish telling me that I should have used their tools when they didn’t even say that before they left room or explain how to use them. very scary place and if I had any choice, I would not return. also, they told me to pick something up at my pharmacy and didn’t even explain what it was, I have four medicine bottles and a mouthwash for some reason, no idea when to use them.

Positive experience: I had multiple visits for multiple issues and had a great experience each visit. Only issue I had was my wait time. For myself not a real issue, but for others it can be an issue. The staff was great. The dentist was awesome. I have been to many dentist over the years so I have many experiences not all great. I am still trying to get used to having a partial.

Positive experience: It was good just one problem had appointment at 130 wasn't seen till 3 dentist appoligized said they got behind

Negative experience: Had an appointment for a cleaning at 10:30 am today, Friday the 31st. Showed up about 10 mins early. Sat for 20 mins. At 10:50 was told it would still be at least 10 more minutes waiting cause hygienist wasn't done with a previous patient. Left after rescheduling for next week

Fantastic experience: I was in town doing contract work for the hospital and developed a bad gum infection called Ludwig Angina. I was admitted into a level 1 trauma center for 4 days, after being discharged, I call Aspen Dentist in Galesburg, IL for an appointment for a tooth extraction. The took me in immediately and did all the work up. Dr. Chuk immediately recognized the condition as an emergency and throughly discussed the ramifications of this infection. He took his time explaining and confirming that I was understanding. His chair side manner was warm, friendly, and confident. He gained my trust. His local anesthetic was delivered with precision and without increased pain. He definitely knows his stuff. He also educated me on “Dry Socket” disease and the extreme pain that I would deal with if I chose to fly back home too soon. His front desk staff and dental assistant were awesome. They are respectful, helpful and friendly, they even provided a few giggles moments to relax me. The environment is clean and the waiting room is an ample in size to give guest comfort. I would highly recommend the dental services of this group. The quality of care is not lacking. Do yourself a favor and check them out for your next dental service whether it’s cleaning, root canal or some more, I don’t think that you will be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I booked my appointment after having the worst tooth infection in my lower right jaw. They got me in same day to get three teeth excrated. I mean I was so nervous and anxious. The team was so patient and made me feel safe and was trying to calm me the entire time. Hygientist Heather walked me through everything and calmed my nerves prior to my tooth extraction. From reception, techs, manager who helped me find the best sound finacial solution, hygentist, and dentist thank you for everything to get me feeling better.

Fantastic experience: I had most of my work done in my home (Hammond Louisiana) whish was awesome great staff and dentist. The service on my final fit here in Galesburg, Illinois was just as awesome the staff and dentist was just as good. I will recommend Aspen dental to everyone i know. Thanks for the awesome service!

Fantastic experience: Office staff very friendly. Michelle K. was the highly skilled dental tech that took over and handled the making of my new dentures. She to put it simply likes and knows teeth. My new dentures were delivered quickly and because of her skill they fit extremely well and I left the office with no adjustments on my new dentures. I have had 1 small adjustment since delivery of my teeth and I'm enjoying them very much. I give the facility 5 stars and thank you again to Michelle K.

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with the staff. Blayze has a great personality and did an excellent job on my ex xrays, making as much effort as possible to cause minimal discomfort. Heather did an excellent job on my initial exam and caused no pain! Dr. Chukwudozie was clear, knowledgeable and gave me a clear assessment of what work I needed done. Honestly, the whole staff seemed to work together very well to provide a positive and pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been in this area for about a year and a half now and needed some dental work done. I’d been hesitant due to past traumatic visits in a different state. The one thing that drew me to Aspen Dental was the “no judgment” statement they pledge. I explained to them my issues and my own neglect, fear and anxiety and they were more than caring and respectful with me. I literally had a breakdown after my scans and cried due to my own doing lol. Everyone was so kind that it automatically made me feel more relaxed and comfortable. Dr. Chuk is an amazing dentist and does a fantastic job! I have severe fibromyalgia flare ups so my nerves are super sensitive and he took great care to make sure I was comfortable and pain-free during an extraction last month and fillings that were done today. I’ve seen some of the poor reviews listed here and I can say I haven’t had a bad experience since starting my journey with them. They DO thoroughly explain everything they will be doing step by step and walk you through your scans. Thank you to all the staff for helping me gain trust in dentists again.

Negative experience: I had a filling done here and it was left with a sharp, painful edge that keeps cutting and hurting my tongue. I contacted the office because the work was clearly not finished properly, and instead of helping fix the issue, they refused to see me. Extremely disappointing patient care and very unprofessional. No one should leave a dental appointment in pain from poor finishing work and then be ignored when asking for help.

Negative experience: I came in for a cleaning because they actually do a good job. My appointment was at 3pm and I arrived early. They had me wait for over an hour. I also had asked them for a pre authorization for something else 4 plus weeks ago and my insurance has told me it was never sent. I would recommend going to another dental group in Galesburg. No one should be waiting over an hour for a cleaning.

Negative experience: Give people straight answers when they call for help. All I wanted to know is if I make this appointment and my tooth needs extracted if they will do it the same day. That’s it. The answers given were vague and not an answer, I’m not paying for two appointments when I called about emergency services. Emergency. Taken care of now. That’s what that means. If you don’t do that, tell people. And don’t call it emergency services. This is why people told me not to go there.

Positive experience: Everyone at Aspen has been friendly and helpful my experience having 2 teeth pulled was painful. The pre numbing gel wasn't put where it was needed so the injection was painful. I have had several teeth pulled over the years and haven't had the pain and pressure that has happened with Aspen. It has been 11 days since the extractions and my mouth is still very sore.my mouth is still swollen and I still have to take 650mg Tylenol 3 times a day. What has happened .?I do have a appointment. In 3 days to see what the trouble is.at this point I don't know if I'll be back to finish for my dentures.thanks for listening .

Negative experience: Just terrible service. They were extremely rude and made my family member so uncomfortable they were not even sure if they were scheduled for another appointment and they didn't help at all with their broken tooth. We will never be back

Fantastic experience: Today was my first appointment with Aspen Dental. Elysa took me for X-rays and keep me laughing because I don't like the dentist.She explained exactly what she was doing, which made the whole process a lot stress-free. It made it even easier because she was someone I knew. Heather came in to check my gum bones and it was the best time ever. When she walked in when started laughing and talking about food from last night and it made it even easier to be in that chair. You can tell that these ladies really cares about their patient's and enjoy there job. Thank you, ladies for being So kind and professional. Fantastic experience: Dr. Chuck and his assistant Elysa were absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend them for your dental work. I took Ma to get a tooth pulled and get a couple fillings done and ma stated that she did not feel any pain whatsoever! She was very very pleased with their work. Also, Carrie, the receptionist, was so kind and helpful with any insurance/dental questions I had. I highly recommend this dentist office for making their patients' comfort and overall experience a wonderful one. We left pleased knowing ma would not be in pain the rest of her day and so she could focus on other things in her life.

Negative experience: It’s posted everywhere that they are a walk in clinic but apparently only if it doesn’t inconvenience the dentist. I gave my daughter a ride as she needed emergency care but since she’s a teacher she had to wait for a substitute for her classroom. We also don’t live in Galesburg so had to travel and arrived at 2:45pm. The office girl collaborated with two other people standing not too far from the check in point where who we believe to be the dentist negatively says “oh yeah, 3 o’clock sounds like a great time to walk in”. The office assistant came back to the desk and asked her if she could come back tomorrow. My daughter said no and asked if there was a problem because they were treating her like an inconvenience and the office girl tried to smooth it over. Another office girl said “let me see what I can find for tomorrow and sat down at the computer”. My daughter and I moved to the side and she told me that she would not come back tomorrow because she heard them talking about her and she went to the desk and nicely said “no thank you”. I however, being nurse manager with zero tolerance for unprofessionalism or rudeness in any medical arena asked the office girl if she realized the entire conversation was heard. She said “well we are busy this afternoon”. I get it, but we didn’t expect to be cut in line in front of the whole two people that were in the waiting room. We expected to wait our turn and be seen when the dentist could get to us. Here are a couple novel ideas….1. if you don’t want walk ins, don’t advertise walk ins. 2. If you don’t want walk ins don’t have “walk ins available for emergency care” plastered all over your front windows. 3. If you advertise walk ins, be prepared for walk ins. 4. If you must be negative and RUDE find a private place AWAY from the customers to do so!!!! First impression of the waiting room is DIRTY. Chairs have black chair covers absolutely covered in lint. Bathroom has a small electric heater sitting on floor plugged in at the side of the sink. Hope someone doesn’t send an unruly child in there alone!! Not my first experience at Aspen, but definitely my last!!

Fantastic experience: This will be a lengthy review I haven’t been to a dentist in many many years more than 20 and that’s my own fault. They got me in even though everyone else is booked up. I was having some pain They warned me ahead I might have to wait awhile but they would squeeze me in. I liked this so I know what to expect. I was supposed to get a Text to upload my insurance stuff ahead of time but I didn’t get it so I had to take it in with. I know this slowed em down a little cause they were scrambling to get it approved or whatever so I didn’t have to pay up front. And thank you for that! Every dollar counts! The wait was kinda long but I knew it would be. I wanted a tooth out and they also said they couldn’t make any promises for doing it the same day but they would do their best. Apparently the doctor schedule is different from the regular schedule anyway from the minute the girl came out and got me she introduced herself and told me what they were doing ex rays and such and to be examined by the doctor. After I was done there I had to go up front to talk about what I needed to have done and it was more than $7000 dollars but considering I haven’t been to the dentist in 20 plus years that’s not a big surprise. The girl wanted to get the most important thing first and get the painful tooth out then work with me to do some of the other stuff at my pace. They again squeezed me in and took a care of me. They were all great! they treated me well alike they wanted me there and were worried about me. Thank you all I will be back as my budget allows to chip away at the other things I need done so I can try to keep my teeth and not have last minute emergencies. Great place to go ! They will work with you and they have options

Fantastic experience: I had scans done for a partial denture. Ronda was the dental assistant that completed the scan. She did a fantastic job. I received the partial denture and the fit was perfect. Ronda was very professional and pleasant. She explained the process before starting and was very educated on the process. I will continue to use Galesburg Il. Aspen Dental for all my dental care.

Positive experience: I dont have insurance.. i was nervous because everything is so expensive.. they helped me fill out app for care credit answered all and any questions.. i wasnt expecting to get my teeth cleaned same day, she was gentle and took her time. I also left with a water flosser & an electric tooth brush !!

Negative experience: Was warned but like others had no other choice but they were fast at getting me in and scheduled. Went in for my first appointment(9/10) which included the X-rays and general overlook for what I was needing done( very visible cavity that I couldn’t have get worse) was told I was on the worsening end of gingivitis as well. So I set the appointment to have the cavity and gingivitis treatment done. I paid more than 50% of what the total rundown was and would pay the rest at the cavity appointment. Mind you this is all at the VERY FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH X-RAYS! Was told the treatment was 2 PARTS! And that I would need to come back for the follow up and second half. So at the cavity and FIRST GINGIVITIS TREATMENT (9/18) when I paid the remaining balance for everything the gingivitis treatment entails and my cavity fix I was told I wouldn’t owe anything when I came back to FINISH the gingivitis treatment(10/9) So day of what I was told was the SECOND HALF OF THE 2 part gingivitis treatment(10/9) I walk in and was told I owed for that visit. Mentioned I had already paid everything at the 9/18 cavity appointment they said okay and that I was fine. Received a phone call 10/14 saying I owed 185$ and that the 10/9 appointment was a routine cleaning and NOT THE 2 PART GINGIVITIS TREATMENT.

Fantastic experience: The staff were extremely friendly. I’ve never laughed so much at a dentist office. I had my periodontal cleaning and the hygienist, Heather, was so patient and kind and empathetic to my anxiety. The young lady who took my x-rays knew I had a pain in my mouth so she sprinted between x-rays so I was not uncomfortable too long and the dentist went out of his way to find a de-sensitizer to apply to my teeth. Alyssa, the receptionist, is always smiling and knows my name. I can not say enough how great my experience was at Aspen. Give them a shot and you will see!

Positive experience: Waited over 45 minutes to be seen, but everyone was polite. Especially liked the dentist. Thorough exam and explained it all to me. Like everything, sooooooooooo expensive.

Negative experience: The hygienist who was doing the x rays was very friendly. However she had a very hard time placing the sensor to complete the x rays. At the end of the appointment the office manager handed me off to someone else to set up appointments. She had a question because the price he said was different than what was coming up. The lady she went and got was very rude and acted as if it was an inconvenience.

Negative experience: DONT GO NEAR THIS PLACE!! MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A 1 TOOTH XTRACTION. GOT 3 ROUNDS OF XRAYS WHICH HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH I MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR . APPOINTMENT WAS AT 3 AFTER ALL THE CRAP I WENT THROUGH WITH XRAYS AND THEM TRYING TO TELL ME ABOUT WHAT THEY THOUGHT WAS BEST SPENT 2 HRS OF THIS AND AT THE LAST MINUTE I WAS TOLD THEY COULD NOT PULL MY TOOTH BECAUSE THEY WERE CLOSING IN 10 MINUTES.. I TOLD THEM I ONLY CAME IN FOR A TOOTH EXTRACTION AND I WAS TOLD IT WASNT GOING TO HAPPEN TODAY. SAID A FEW CHOICE WORDS WALKED OUT SND TOLD THEM THEY BETTER NOT CHARGE MY INNS COMP.. ASPEN IS A JOKE!! BUT MIRE OF A RIPOFF!! CHARGING INS COMPANY'S FOR SERVICES YOU NEVER ASKED FOR!! Fantastic experience: I just got two teeth extractions done by Dr Kumar and his assistant Heather yesterday. they were kind, professional and got the work done quickly. I wanted to say congratulations to Heather on the promotion but my mouth was full of gauze.

Negative experience: Quite literally fed up with this place! Went in to have a cavity filled. The dentist insisted I needed three crowns and I got a quote in the ballpark of $3,000. A couple of weeks later, my teeth broke on the other side of my mouth. At first visit, I was holding their Xray device with one tooth on bottom and using top teeth to compensate. It was these teeth that broke. I could feel the strain on them then. I go in to get them filled and same dentist insists I needed three crowns on that side-the opposite side of other three crowns. That ended up costing me in the ballpark of $4,000 and I can’t even chew on that side of my mouth because the teeth that got crowns hurt all the time. Went in today because I had a filling fall out. All the previous work I had done is going to hell after being messed with. Anyway, same dentist refused to fill big hole in my tooth. He won’t work on it unless I get a crown put on it. They quoted me $1,400. I don’t have insurance and they already reached my Care Credit limit. I left in tears. Going to the dentist is already traumatic for me. It’s not for a lack of taking care of my teeth. According to my mom, our saliva lacks something that kills bacteria- told to her by a periodontist. I’ve worked hard to keep my teeth. They were always my favorite feature; my smile. The dentist there doesn’t seem to understand that I’m not made of money. I can only do what I can do. Would not recommend unless you have lots of money to spend.

Fantastic experience: My husbands false teeth was giving him fits because they didn't fit good. We got there and this lady worked for an hour so they would be more comfortable for him. He is so much more comfortable with them he can eat Things now that he couldn't before! Never got her name but thank you. Richard lafary

Negative experience: Staff was really nice, doctor seemed really nice. I'm very upset that I went through the exam just be told they don't accept medical card and they would need 6500$ for the work that I needed done! Kudos to those people that can just drop that kind of money but I certainly can't! Seems like they wasted my time and theirs for 29$!

Fantastic experience: Dr Kumar and Heather the hygienist took really good care of us. I really appreciate them explaining so much to us. Everyone that works there were really nice to us and we’ll definitely be back. I think management should hire more workers, it’s hard to get in touch with them and they have to work with you quickly to get to the next patient because they are so busy, that’s not the employee’s fault. Despite that, the employees try their best to give a good service, they deserve a raise!

Negative experience: We had an appointment for 1400 and we were told the "doctor left for lunch and they were unsure if he was coming back." We waited until 1500 before we got in for our appointment just for them to say they didn't have time to complete the only thing that appointment was made for. They wanted to tell us about so many other things that could be done but had very little regard for the issue we were there for. Will never go back and would not remotely recommend anyone go to this establishment.

Fantastic experience: Michele K at Aspen is amazing! I was completely terrified for my extraction and she definitely helped calm my nerves. She was so friendly and comforting!

Fantastic experience: The staff are friendly and accommodating. The Doctor was professional and truthful. He explained the procedure and what to expect. He kept me as comfortable as possible and when I was having discomfort he addressed that issue quickly then finished the procedure. I was comfortable during the rest of the procedure. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Went into Aspen Dental for a broken tooth. Dr. Kumar and Lyndee were amazing. Got me in very quickly, for a broken tooth/pain. Explained everything about the procedure, took great care of my tooth/procedure. Answered any questions, that I may have had. Very polite and friendly. The lady that did my X-rays was also very kind and informative. Great staff! Thanks to you, I am so much better. Definitely, recommend .

Negative experience: Would give negative stars if I could. Had wisdom teeth pulled was told that the oral surgeon would not put me under because it was only two teeth but the surgeon said I should have been out and should not have requested to be awake (I hate going to the dentist and specifically said I wanted put under). The first tooth came out fine the second however when the oral surgeon broke it to start removal sent tremendous pain through my face and started the most painful experience of my life the oral surgeon seemed to be doing what he could to make it hurt less but by the time it was over I was drenched in sweat and about ready to pass out. Horrible experience and then they prescribed me an antibiotic that I am allergic to even when I told them I am allergic to it they said to take it anyway and let them know if I reacted to it. Yes I’m going to react to it I’m allergic to it! Was then told it was probably just a childhood allergy that I outgrew. So after the experience I had to stand in line at the pharmacy with my face swollen barely able to talk to get the antibiotic situation settled myself. Please go somewhere else and don’t come to them for anything ever.

Fantastic experience: I felt my doctor cared about me. He came up with a plan to fix my broken front Tooth that I can live with, he was very understanding to my concerns. My nurse also cared about me, knowing taking the ex rays would be uncomfortable to me, she was very gentle and polite.
