Fantastic experience: The dentists and staff are all amazing from the moment we walk in everyone is so kind. The assistants and the dentist are so calm and patient when it comes to helping your child. It’s just a great place to take your child for their dental needs.

Fantastic experience: My 2 month old was having troubles eating. Our pediatrician recommended Dr. Smith. He helped identify she had a lip tie. We went ahead with the surgery to get the lip tie fixed. Dr. Smith and his staff were very informative and made us feel very comfortable with providing information about the surgery and healing. Overall great experience.

Fantastic experience: I took my son here because he was born with neonatal teeth. These teeth have to be removed due to chocking hazard, as they’re not rooted like regular teeth. Dr. Smith exceeded my expectations and my son was taken care of quickly and he’s now able to eat regularly. This was so scary to watch your newborn need their teeth removed, but Dr. Smiths professionalism was great! I will be happy to continue my business with him and his staff when my son officially has regular teeth!

Fantastic experience: Dr Smith has to be one of my all time favorite dentists ever. His staff is very patient and honest, they make my children feel well cared for and I have never had issues with them having fear of the dentist. My kids love the encouragement and do a much better job with their teeth after leaving here.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing experience! We have Dr. Smith and him and his staff are the best. My daughter has autism and it was her first appointment. She needed some work done and him and his staff were so incredibly patient and accommodating to her needs. He was excellent at explaining everything he was about to do before doing it. She had a mild freak out while getting a cavity drilled out but him and his assistant stayed calmed and helped walk her through the anxiety she was experiencing in that moment. I am so incredibly impressed with him and his team and just how kind all of them are! Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Our son has gone to Dr. Smith his entire life. Now that he is 14, he will be transitioning to the dentist his dad and I go to. We had our last appointment with Dr. Smith today. Im not ashamed to say I cried a little on the way out the door. Dr. Smith and his staff are amazing and we appreciate the years of excellent care they've provided to our son.

Fantastic experience: Extremely caring. Always make sure my children feel comfortable and know what’s going on. 10 out of 10. Best children’s dentist We’ve ever been to.

Negative experience: Their policies regarding cancellations are questionable, to say the least. While they may be kind and great with my children, their lack of flexibility with scheduling mishaps is concerning. As a parent with multiple children and a busy life, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. It's unrealistic to expect every parent to adhere to such strict guidelines, especially when unexpected events can arise at any moment. Their handling of cancellations, including even the justified ones, was disrespectful and off-putting. After overpaying my bill and accumulating a credit of over $200, they deducted almost all of it due to cancellation fees, despite only having 2 non-excused cancellations. This occurred right after I explained my financial difficulties and the need to postpone my son's treatment temporarily. Their inadequacy to show empathy or understanding in this situation was disappointing. The dismissive attitude and lack of consideration displayed by Stephanie was disheartening. It's clear that their actions do not align with their words. Make an informed choice and decide whether this is the right provider for you.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this office. They went above and beyond when it came to figuring out insurance, which was a HUGE help to me, and the dental assistants were amazing, making my daughter feel comfortable and making her first visit smooth and enjoyable. My son 14 was talked to like an adult and asked straightforward questions, and we were all in and out in no time. Overall, it was a great experience.

Fantastic experience: I've always had a good experience with Children's Dentistry of Elko, beginning to end of every visit, and my son is not scared of going to this dentist. They are amazing! I had to call in on a Sunday because my son had a tooth infection and they helped me right away. They answered the phone and advised me on what to do. Then they scheduled an appointment for us right away on Monday.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her wisdom teeth removed in Utah last week. She still had swelling on one side and some pain. We were heading to Idaho for this weekend so I called at the end of the business day wondering if I should have her checked in the morning. They had her come right in and were professional and kind. We so appreciate Dr Smith and the entire staff. They go above and beyond!!

Fantastic experience: This is an updated review. CDR is a very clean establishment, with ample entertainment for children. Every time we've had an appointment, it's decorated for the holiday, or they have a raffle going with a prize for the kids. It's very cute, and you can feel that there's a lot of thought and care. I've brought both of my children here, now for three major issues, and every single time has exceeded my expectations. Stephanie, who works in reception, is an amazing personality. She's so polite and kind, and her customer service is excellent. Dr. Smith has a way with children that is second-to-none, absolutely genuine. Everyone we've had interactions with has been wonderful. You can tell that the people who work here want to be here. This place is a gem. I will never take my kids to see anyone else. I am so appreciative for all that they do; thank you.

Fantastic experience: This was our first experience at the Dentist and BOYYYY was that a lot more fun than when I was a kid. Dr. Smith straight up sand the ‘ABC’s & Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,’ & we were done! My kid only got a little scared towards the end but that lasted 2 seconds and we were done! Now my toddler looks forward to brushing and flossing. Thank you so much to Dr. Smith & your kind staff! So welcoming! The Lobby is SO kid friendly. Our experience from the receptionist to the Doctor was great!

Fantastic experience: The staff and Doctor were kind & super friendly! The lobby has a cozy feel and toys/tablets to entertain the kids while waiting which is always great. My 6 year old felt comfortable and not nervous while in the chair, and the Doc explained everything to my son and I so that we both understood what was going on with his teeth. It is a little harder to get an appointment right away tho, so make sure you plan for a day at least a month out!

Fantastic experience: My daughter chipped her tooth and I needed to get her in on an emergency visit. She has major anxiety with the dentist. Dr. Smith and his staff made her visit very comfortable. It was quick and informative on the next steps that need to be taken.

The dentist can be a scary experience for children but Children's Dentistry of Elko go above and beyond to make sure their patients are as comfortable as possible.
