Fantastic experience: Loved everyone there ! Very friendly and helpful!

Fantastic experience: I have multiple visits at Aspen Dental in Baxter, MN for cleanings, tooth extractions (2) and cavities filled. I have received excellent service at every visit. The of the staff and dentists have always been professional and friendly. They generally run on time, no long waits in the waiting room. They accept my dental insurance. I highly recommend Aspen Dental in Baxter for dental care.

Positive experience: This was my first visit to establish care. I see a regular dentist for cleanings etc and a periodontist for gum issues that was taken care of years ago. I was told at Aspen that I need to have periodontal cleaning because of my history. I told then that was what the periodontist is for and then was told if I didn't it would be considered malpractice if I didn't have these cleanings. I checked and this is not true. It may be their policy but I don't think they should make me have anything but a regular cleaning every 6 months. None of my other dentists had this policy. This may make or break me as a patient.

Fantastic experience: This was my first appointment at Aspen Dental. I had a great experience from the time i walked in the door until i left. The receptionist greeted me and checked me in then the hygienist took me for x rays she was very friendly. Next i met with the dentist Dr. Peet who examined my teeth and since i had a small cavity he said to make an appointment for that. I was on my way home when they called and said they had an opening in the afternoon so i could get in earlier. I went back meet with the Dr.Peet again he filled the cavity. He was very nice and made it a great experience. Everyone was wonderful. I highly recommend Aspen Dental Baxter

Fantastic experience: My experience was the best I've had at Aspen and anywhere else. My hygienist was awsome she did the best cleaning I've had at Aspen. She was very personable kept my mind occupied while she did her thing. Explained everything well. It's too bad she wasn't from this Aspen clinic because I would request her every visit. She was a rover who went where ever she was needed. I wish I could remember her name to make sure she gets full credit for her awsome Job with me.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service. I had a tooth broken off of my lower denture, I dropped off the denture hoping it could be repaired in couple of days, because of leaving on a trip, they didn't thing that would be possible. Three hours later, I got a text. It is fixed, come and get it. THANKS SO MUCH ASPEN DENTAL.

Negative experience: My mom waited for an hr to be seen with mouth pain. Remind you she drove 30 mins. Waited an hour and then asked her to reschedule. Unprofessional from one business owner to another. Just sad - could’ve told her within 5 mins she could leave, not let her sit for an hour. I wouldn’t recommend Aspen Dental.

Fantastic experience: Becky is great at what she does. Without going into my medical history, I'll say she helped get me on track. Coming in is always quick, easy and not bad at all.

Fantastic experience: Becky is a great dental hygienist! Very personable and fun to chat with. She tells you what is needed to be done on your end of your tooth/mouth health and really gets to know her patients, which makes the experience so much more enjoyable and less like a chore. If you are in need of a dental care facility in the Brainerd Lakes area, go to Aspel dental and ask to have Becky as your hygienist! You won't be disappointed.

Negative experience: I am editing my rating because the first time I came to this facility in Baxter they were great. This last year I had an exam and X-rays and they told me I had 3 cavities, two being in my wisdom teeth. They refused to fill them and told me they needed to be pulled. Once all was said and done in the exam they brought me to finance. They quoted me over $20k. I looked at the lady and said you're joking... That is the price of a new car. I refused all treatments from them and did not go back. I wanted a second opinion and what I found out at my new Dentist was I had ZERO cavities and my wisdom teeth were just fine! I am just appalled. I will never be returning to any Aspen dental!! How scary!!

Negative experience: I made appointment 2 weeks ago for tomorrow, and I had to make arrangements with my job so I could make my appointment. I stopped by the dental office a week ago and found out that they lost my dental records when they updated their computer system. How convenient when my reason for the appointment could have possibly been a warranty denture repair. So I'm now considered a new patient, without a warranty. Not the worst part of it though, but today they send me an email at noon telling me I have to reschedule my appointment for tomorrow to a different day. It's not that easy to get time off of work this time of year for me.They couldn't call!!!! I'm one of them people who only look at their emails once or twice a day. I will never step foot in one of their offices ever again. Poor customer service in my opinion!!!

Fantastic experience: I went to Aspen Dental recently, and I hate going to the dentist, and I wasn't sure what my Insurance would and would not cover. The front desk lady, I believe her name was Casey, was so helpful and knowledgeable about everything. She really put me at ease with the process. I will definitely be going back as soon as I can schedule with work.

Fantastic experience: I was really uneasy going into the visit because of my dental issues and the length of time since my last visit. They were really personable and put me at ease. Finances were a big issue and the finance team member was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable.

Negative experience: I was told upon entry that my insurance with UCare did not cover their services in spite of saying so online. All I wanted was a cleaning because my prior UCare dentist was no longer in-network. But I was told I could not get a cleaning until I was examined. Then I was told I needed periodontil scaling costing $1500+. All I wanted was a cleaning!

Negative experience: Would give no stars if I could. They did a quick exam, then hurried me to billing before proceeding. When they let me know the total cost, I literally got choked up knowing I couldn't afford it. I asked if medical insurance ever covered anything, and they told me they didn't take medical so they didn't know. Come to find out, not only do they take medical insurance, but they are listed as in network (and preferred even) on my health insurance. They are still send the bill that was $700 higher than quoted to collections, and have been no help. Do not go here unless you want to be scammed.

Negative experience: made an appointment for 9/5 at 7:30 am over the phone, show up at 7:15 am like I was told, no one is here, no one picks up the phone for 20 minutes and then I am told that my emergency appointment will need to be moved to another day with no time frame given on how long it'll be to reschedule because the don't even have a dentist in today

Negative experience: The dental hygienist and doctor were nice and attentive. I sat in a room for 30 minutes waiting, and it feels as though I may have been forgotten. I was informed during my exam that there were some areas we were going to keep an eye on, but was not informed I had a cavity. When checking out, I was told to schedule a follow up for my cleaning, and my filling. I was not aware I needed one. I was also asked to pay in advance for my service scheduled for next week. I have not encountered that before, and was not impressed by the lack of communication about my cavity.

Fantastic experience: I called in they got me in fixed my dentures with no problems. They fit great I’ll for sure go back! That was first time second time was ALOT MORE money they could of told me B4 they fixed it from $25.00 to $212.00 it’s a huge profil cause it to just as long to fix like first time.

Negative experience: If I could leave 0 stars I would! I came to Aspen dental to get my wisdom teeth removed as there’s not many options around here. They weren’t straightforward with the cost of everything and it never made sense. when I had my procedure done originally they were gonna do all four then the day of procedure told me I only needed two removed. I was told I would be refunded for the cost of the other two teeth and then when I woke up from anesthesia, they told me that they had to use more sensitive, and that it washed the payment. They told me they wouldn’t charge me for an x-ray because they said they would accept my previous one and then charge me for X-rays. When I asked them for an itemized over the phone, someone told me it was “above their pay grade and was not able to do so.” Come to find out I had dual coverage that I was unaware of, but Aspen knew and charged both insurance companies. I STILL had to pay $1700 out of pocket To get two wisdom teeth removed. The cherry on top was I came in today on a Friday 05/16 to get the itemized printed off and they had the doors locked at 11:33 and they would not answer the phone even though it states they’re open until noon.

Negative experience: I will never return to Aspen Dental,,,the service was terrible and I was pulling pieces of teeth from my gums for a month and a half after having 4 teeth pulled.I don't know how they can pull your teeth and give you dentures the same day,,that would be very painful.

Negative experience: Very disappointed in this location, and have canceled all future interaction. Was seeing them twice a year for preventive care, and they messed up billing with insurance - taking over a year to contact me. Insurance is denying coverage due to lack of timeliness. Aspen blaming myself and insurance for their incompetence. One star is too generous.

Fantastic experience: It was my first appointment at Aspen and I have to say that each one of the staff members from the front desk to the Dr were amazing. Helpful and welcoming. I believe they did a great job and offer great advice and solutions. I recommend it 100%.

Fantastic experience: I was greatly impressed with the Dentist. He listened to me about my needs and also my bad experience. The nurse was a little uptight at first as I am demanding on my needs and not needs as this is not a cheap adventure.

Fantastic experience: Great except I don't know what to do when they won't except payments. I need a lot of work done or I can die! What to do?? But otherwise they were great and dnlentist was so kind and friendly!

Negative experience: I found the people to be very nice. The only problem I had was the push for new dentures. I went in to have my dentures relined and they would not do it. I'm a 73 year old veteran living on $1462. amonth and I told them I couldn't afford new dentures. I wonder if I wasn't worth there time or they just aren't capable to do the job. I'm not worrying about chewing food as I really would like to smile again. I haven't been able to do that in a long time and it's time for me to be able to smile again.

Negative experience: I know that dental work is expensive but I felt they are on the high end with costs. When I had my cleaning done, the hygienist was a bit rough and a bit unprofessional with a couple of comments. The one dentist that I saw was a nice gentleman, but he too was rough. Ones mouth can only stretch so far before it hurts. Not impressed! Also.had to see an oral surgeon for a couple of issues, but when I had a treatment plan concern I was not treated very well. Felt like staff did not care about my concerns and I finally got it through to them that I wanted to talk to the surgeon about the treatment plan. I was told they would contact me but i never got a call back. Then had to be faced with rude and unprofessional comments from the dental assistant as well.

Positive experience: A little pricey but the staff were really nice and professional. Kind of wish they had doors installed to each patient room. I'd like privacy when I visit the dentist and it's not a huge ask either.

Positive experience: I am someone that has lots of anxiety about going to the dentist and they made it go very smooth even though I could not control my anxiety. They were very nice about it. My next appointment they’ll pull my teeth and I will be at ease because I’ll be sedated.

Negative experience: I’ve been rescheduled 6 times now for an EMERGENCY appointment. I paid a downpayment and I have waited over a month to be seen. They claimed to have called multiple times yet I have no voicemails or missed calls from them.
