Fantastic experience: Lovely environment and Awesome receptionist. Kind atmosphere all around, so glad we chose this location for our little ones.

Negative experience: Today we went with my 5 year old and 2 year old and my 5 year old is terrified of the dentist and doctors office. Well she was doing okay but when we got back to the back and in the chair it just turned ugly. I’m sure my child is not the only kid to freak out when someone goes near their mouth in a setting that they are not used to and with tools that they don’t use ever, BUT the dental assistant she had had ZERO patience with her. She took her gloves off multiple times and THREW them down with a look of disgust at my child. This wasn’t just once it was three times. My mother in law was about to jump down her throat. I would see her go towards the other women working there mouthing something. If you can’t have patience with children you probably shouldn’t be working at a PEDIATRIC dental office. The main dentist there Sandy Is good but we are going to be looking to go elsewhere after that experience. The first time we went it was a rough first time as well it almost seemed as though the dental assists just rush through to push the kids out. We also had an appointment last month but we waited in the waiting room for forty minutes and had to leave because we weren’t being told if we were going to be seen anytime soon. Extremely disappointed and disgusted. Would write more but I don’t want to give any more energy to this.

Fantastic experience: My 3 year old had her first visit for a cleaning and the staff was very friendly! They did a great job keeping my daughter happy throughout the whole visit. The atmosphere of the office looked great with child friendly decor. An all around great first experience!

Negative experience: I am pretty disappointed. We waited so long for a visit and we were really not able to get anything done. I asked when I made this appointment if this office was accommodating for kids with severe sensory issues and kids on the spectrum. She assured me it absolutely was. It is absolutely not. The assistant was very nice but they don’t encourage parents to be with kids, which is not an option for us. It is a big room with several tables and a lot going on, which is very over stimulating. They didn’t have a small enough mouth piece for my son for x rays. The doctor tried to be nice but has never been trained for children with these issues. She struggled keeping her patience and it seemed that the nice was pretty fake. So if you have independent children with none of our conditions this place might work for you. We will never be back. Hopefully we will find a dentist that will be more accommodating and trained. Dr. Sandy was the doctor.

Fantastic experience: Love the interior Noah's Ark decor and all of the play things for the kiddies! The staff was very professional, friendly, and gentle with my nervous little man's first dentist appointment. The wait to be seen was short and the entire process was very smooth. Dad did a great job selecting our new dentist office for our son. :)

Fantastic experience: I really enjoy my visit with my sons who are 2 and 7. Everyone was friendly and informative They acknowledged my son shoes who had his favorite character on them and they played the show for him to watch while cleaning his teeth. The doctor was sweet and explained everything all the way through. Thank you CoastKids !

Fantastic experience: The technician that cleaned my granddaughter's teeth was so good with her and made her feel at ease she is only 3 years old Cindy before and wasn't scared at all for her first big girl cleaning and x-rays thank you so much for taking the time to make her feel comfortable and unafraid

Fantastic experience: The staff at CoastKids Dental at the Pass Road office is amazing as always! Beginning with a friendly greeting from the ladies at the front desk, to the amazing techs and dentists in the clinic area. I cannot say enough positive things about this clinic! My children love here, and that’s all that matters.

Fantastic experience: I visited CoastKids Pediatric Dentistry today for the first time with my three-year-old. We had an amazing experience. The staff was extremely sweet from the Receptionist all the way to the Dentist. The Dental Assistant had so much patience. She was extremely soft spoken and worked with my daughter. She could tell she was a little nervous. I think I found my children's new dentist office.

Fantastic experience: Their staff is so kind and lovely to my children. The Dr. Carter always explains everything and always answers all of my questions. I have been coming here for more than 10 years and I wouldn’t change to another.

Fantastic experience: Yall my son has ADAD and he has been extremely uncooperative every time we have been to the dentist before so of course walking in I warned them, as this was our first appointment here and he had already gotten upset about going to the dentist. I told that dental hygienist and she made him feel so comfortable and so happy, there were no tears, there was no screaming, there was no fit. She was able to get x-rays and exam without a fight. These people are wonderful! I wish I had known about CoastKids sooner and I bet my son wouldn't be scared of the dentist. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Fantastic experience: Jamarion and i went in for a first time appointment and had a great time. He played with the toys in the waiting area and read a book as we proceeded to the back he received a blue bear toy for being a good boy for the x-ray. Negative experience: The AAPD recommends that children see a dentist by the age of 1. This information is found on the coast kids website. When I called about scheduling my 10 month old the lady told me that they don’t see children before 1 and really not until 2 or 3years old. I asked why would it be advertised on their own website if they don’t practice what’s recommended by the AAPD? She said it depends, and some of the dentist don’t take children before 1. What does it depend on? If their teeth are already in bad shape? I have copy and pasted this statement directly from their website: “Many parents of infants and toddlers are not confident they are caring for their child’s teeth properly and can benefit greatly from the instruction we offer.” An infant is 0-12months. But my 10 month old can’t be scheduled? My main goal was being able to speak with a pediatric dentist about how I can best care for my daughters teeth, but after this interaction and her unhelpful attitude I didn’t feel welcome to ask anymore questions. She could have at least offered to schedule us closer to her being 1 year old. I was hoping for better customer service since this place has a good rating but very disappointed.

Fantastic experience: We were very pleased with the service, my son has a very difficult time with the dentist but they were exceptional :) and did an amazing job. Not a tear was shed, the last place we attempted he had a full meltdown. Thank you for understanding and being so great!

Not only is the office beautiful, but the people there are the nicest ever. And the doctor is so kind and gentle to these children. We have been going many years and will continue to go until these children are adults. I have placed all my confidence in these doctors to take care of my grandchildren and have always received the best care.

He talked to me about all of my concerns and talked to me at length about my options. I did not feel pressured at all. They made us all feel very comfortable. Negative experience: Do not bring your kids here. They will charge you for procedures that you couldn’t get done due to them not telling you certain details about your kids appointment!! So they had to cancel the appointment and wanted me to pay for it again .. when I brought her back for the next appointment!! Sounds like they just like taking money from parents! !!

Negative experience: I forgot my son couldn’t eat before his appointment so they’re making me pay $75 a second time. No thanks I’ll find another dentist

Was referred here because my extremely shy extremely overdramatic child could not be handled at the other dentist...they handled her like a champ and definitely put myself and my daughter at ease about future dentist visits!! Which is great since she's got another in a month. Update: coming here for a couple years now...the dentist is now one of my daughters favorite places to go! She gets so excited for about 2 weeks leading up to her visit and has no worries about mom not coming in back with her...as she says...she got this now!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been bringing my daughters here for about 4 years now and they are wonderful. Always patient with my children and provide efficient, yet thorough office visits. On top of that, it is hard to find honesty in the medical field (or anywhere else) these days, but when I made an overpayment of appx $260, they didn’t hesitate to call and let me know and immediately refunded my card. This RARELY EVER happens!! I have had to call so many doctors offices in the past and beg and demand to get MY money back. I was so taken back by this and the office staff probably doesn’t even realize how much of an impression that left on me, because it’s just what they do! It’s just who they are! I’d previously considered switching dentist, out of pure convenience, wanting to go to someone closer to my home, but not now. People who are this caring and honest are hard to come by. They have my loyalty now.

My assistant Lanette was so patient and even though my child was whining and crying she brushed his teeth thoroughly. Dr. Carter examined his teeth and she was also patient and informative. Fantastic experience: My 4 year old son has been going to this dentist for 2-years and they are always wonderful with him. He was traumatized by another dentist that I will not mention to the point it took 6 people to hold him down his first x ray but by the second visit he sits for a cleaning and x rays!

Inside the building is super kid friendly and has lots of vibrant colors everywhere. They have beautiful photos on the ceiling when my child was being examined. Take your child to CoastKids.
