Fantastic experience: my mom and i took my five year old son in for a consultation- he needs to have a couple teeth removed. my son has never felt more comfortable at the dentist- he didn’t want to leave! the staff is so kind and welcoming. definitely our first choice now when it comes to dental care for my children.

Fantastic experience: We have had nothing but great experiences at Advanced Pediatric Dentistry. The boys (now 7 and 5) enjoy their time there. The whole staff is amazing and really connects with the boys. They make it a fun and non-threatening experience. I think what they are doing is providing an environment that will set the precedence for these kids view oral health and going to the dentist. My boys walk out of there full of pride and confidence.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love Dr. Schmidt and team . They are so kind and really love their patience . Right when you walk in it feels kid friendly , the art is fantastic !! 10/10 recommend ❤️

I highly recommend advanced pediatric dentistry, they took fantastic take of my 12 year old daughter who has horrible anxiety after a bad dental experience somewhere else and they were able to confidently and comfortably take care of my daughter without her being completely freaked out and a nervous wreck. Their staff is ALL absolutely amazing and so friendly and understanding. THANK YOU APD!!! After 2 failed laughing gas attempts at our general dentistry here in our small town, they were able to take care of my daughter’s needs comfortably.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love the kindness and patience the staff and the dentist shows for my kids and others!! My daughter absolutely loves going there and same with my son!!! They explain things and show you what they're talking about and what they are going to do!

Fantastic experience: The staff here were incredible with my son! He has autism, and is nonverbal and they made sure he was comfortable the entire time! I've never seen him so relaxed at a dentists office haha I will 100% be bringing him back, and highly recommend to anyone especially with kids with special needs.

Fantastic experience: We have had a great experience with this dentist. We were recommended to Advanced Pediatric by others in the autism spectrum. We have had no issues with this place they are all great & patient. They work with you & your child very well. They listen to what your child needs & do what is best for your child. Update :This dentist office is the best with autistic children. Couldn't ask for a better place to take your child/children or grandchild/grandchildren. Our grandson had a dental procedure done today the guys were great with him. Couldn't ask for a better place to do the procedure. Was worried since they had to out him under general anesthesia. The Anesthesia Dr was great as well. They all make such a great team.

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about this pediatric dentist office! They are incredibly kind and supportive, always taking the time to answer any questions we have. It's clear that they prioritize the comfort and health of the kids they treat. During our visit, my daughter was kept calm and comfortable throughout the entire process. Fantastic experience: My son had to have 5 teeth pulled this past week. Staff made him comfortable and the process was smooth. He had no pain or discomfort afterwards. We have been going to Advanced Peds since he was about a year old and he’s 13 now!

Fantastic experience: Advanced Pediatric Dental is an amazing place to take your child to. They are professional and very good at what they do. Our 4 year old son had to have oral surgery which is nerve racking for any parent but the dentist and anesthesiologist but our minds at ease and made the experience as stress free as possible for us and our little guy. Thank you guys for caring and providing excellent care! I will recommend this practice to everyone I know.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Schmidt and his team are wonderful. Their lobby is kid friendly and fun. Dr. Schmidt himself is kind and patient. My son has had to have tooth extractions and each time he has come up with a plan that we are comfortable with.

Fantastic experience: I brought my 2.5 year old daughter here for her first dental visit and it was such a good experience. She was very excited to see all the characters on their mural inside and the receptionist was kind and asked what movie she would like on their waiting room television. She enjoyed the toys they had available as well. The dentist themselves were also extremely kind and welcoming, being her first visit there wasn’t a lot to do other than take a peek and make sure all her teeth look good. A quick fluoride treatment and we were on our way. My little girl was very excited about her new Bluey toothbrush and little toy dolphin they gave her. Overall great experience definitely recommend if your in the Hermiston area.

Fantastic experience: This place was very clean the staff was very nice and communicated very well. They had the anesthesiologist come out and explain everything thing to us. Then the dentist did a step by step of what he was going to be doing two silver caps and 4 fillers. Was a little sad we couldn't be in the room with him his first time going under anesthesia. They called use in two weeks followed to make sure he was doing fine.

Fantastic experience: First time taking my two kids to this office they got my two kids scheduled in quickly, Did all the paperwork online so check in was fast, We didn’t wait long at all in the waiting room all the staff were very caring and explained the steps to the kids the dentist was amazing i highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We love Advanced Pediatric Dentistry. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful and gentle with my kids. Never had an issue with scheduling, and even tho our community (and surrounding area) is large and they are the only ped dentist local, they always make an effort to fit us in when needed. Not to mention the dentist being clear in answering questions, concerns, advice, or explaining care and prevention as well as tips. Overall great experience.

Fantastic experience: We drive 2 1/2 hours each way to visit this dentist. They are so great with my kids. Especially with my autistic son. They always make it as pleasant for him as possible. They create a safe space. So much so that he asks "are we going to the nice dentist?" They always make sure all of my questions are answered too and that I feel comfortable with the treatment plan. Pediatric Dentistry of Hermiston is worth the trip!

Fantastic experience: My son had an accident last night t Hit the bottom of his mouth (lower teeth) on the door handle in the hallway while he and his brother were playing around and bruised his gums pretty good and were able to get him in frist thing in the morning and we're glad to help to ensure there was not real damage as he was in tears all night the took care of him w not issues so thank you!!!!

Positive experience: Nice environment with the area being pretty chill overall. There are TVs for you to watch things while they work on your teeth, and the staff is pretty nice! I’d recommend this place if you need anything done. Been coming for years and it hasn’t changed much.

Fantastic experience: My family really appreciates Advanced Pediatric Dentistry of Hermiston for making going going to the dentist a fun experience for our daughter! She loves going there. They made it really fun for her with a show she can watch while the dentist is working in her mouth and prizes she can win at the end. I really recommend them, especially for kids who have a hard time sitting still at a dentist.

Fantastic experience: We had to drive over from La Grande got there 30 minutes early and they were very prompt got us taken back early. My daughter was there for X-rays and a consultation and the Doctor said if we had time he could fix the tooth needed that day since we made the trip over. They got a room set up and he fixed the tooth. The doctor was able to fix the tooth without her being put under(kind of the reason we were there) she was very fidgety and anxious and wouldn’t sit still at her regular dentist. He was very good and walked her through everything with no issues. Easy peasy and we were on our way. I highly recommend!
