Fantastic experience: Vanessa in Bell is the best! EDIT:Unfortunately she is no longer practicing at Palms

Negative experience: I established as a new patient with this organization, because my previous practitioner went elsewhere. After almost a year, they still have not requested my previous medical records. Therefore, they have no clue about my medical history, or what they’re even treating me for. This place is a joke. Please beware!!

Negative experience: Do not bring your small children here unless you are comfortable with them being alone without any parents for their whole dental visit. They do not allow parents to accompany kids 4 yrs and older during their visit. They don’t tell you over the phone or during the scheduling they add it in fine print at the end of the 30 page long forms they make you fill out online. And of course most people like me do not read every little thing and did not know until we got there. A 4 yr old is too small and young to be without a parent during a medical appt. I was put on the spot and extremely uncomfortable with having my child go back without me but they wouldn’t allow it any other way. I don’t know why this is normalized but I will for sure not be coming back here.

Negative experience: The worst doctors office to go. Let's start off by saying when you call to make appointments it doesn't go to the Palms your seen at. Your call goes to Gainesville a call center there. Well they Cancelled my appointment without telling me. All because I seen a different doctor not to long ago. Well I have health issues and I was in the Hospital. So my whole purpose of my c Cancel the appointment was to see how I was doing and talk about how my diabetes is doing. To top it off they never call you To tell you what your blood work is. Before I went in the hospital not one single nurse or doctor called me. I just don't feel the call center should be able to cancel your appointments . I would not recommend this place to nobody. UPDATE I had to go back figured I give one more try. Big mistake the doctor I seen would not refill 2 of the medications I needed one being a insulin I am about to run out of was told go see a diabetic Specialist. I have never had no problems with any other doctors before filling any of my medications or have I ever been refused medications especially insulin. I wish I could remember the lady doctor name who saw me. But either way I feel that should be against the law to refuse a patient's medication when needed. This place should be shut down.

Fantastic experience: These "guys" are incredible. Two extractions with good old nitrous oxide, and the last one a week ago, no crying at all, even though the first time was a very brief cry. Super staff and wonderful clientele.

Negative experience: We have had nothing but issues with medication refills here. The MD obviously does not care about the patients. I am highly dissatisfied and the nurses don't seem to care either. I'm always sent to a voicemail when trying to reach someone and have even not been called back for days when I was told I would be. I have had to go a week without medication before. This has been a nightmare from the beginning.

Negative experience: This is the worst Dr. Office I have ever delt with. I have been going to this dr for several months and never had a good experience. The MD Dr.Cancel repeatedly never calls in RX on time and no one seems to listen or care about the complaints.

Positive experience: Coming from Oregon and Kaiser Permanente, I cant explain how it feels the same but just better. The providers do try to listen and they really do care. Kaiser never did. I am 100% loyal to every provider I've seen here. My son goes to them as well as the dentist branch. They have sliding scale which makes it a lot easier without insurance. They're great!

Negative experience: Called to have a infected tooth extracted. Was told late november, or call at 8am to see if there is a cancelation.

Negative experience: We love my daughters docter but I have switched her over to highsprings location where the staff at desk actually cares about helping with any insurance issue's, Had an appointment with trenton and the front desk girl told me we have no coverage, but offered no assistance as to how to handle the issue, we had coverage as I came home and called insurance company, so my daughter didn't get seen She wasn't helpful at all and didn't give a care in the world .Talked to my insurance agent and somebody just didn't want to put in effort at doing thier job ,I had to do it, so we will no longer use the trenton location..Couldn't even advise us on what needed to be done..,Got all the help I needed from the high springs location staff, very friendly and professional and had it handled and taken care of with no issues..

Negative experience: Went in for medicine on 8/20 after blood work previous done 8/13. Repeated blood work which still showed low. Now wanting me redraw labs 6-8 weeks prior starting medicine. Complete run around and waste of my time. STAY AWAY FROM THE PRACTICE.

Negative experience: Pathetic referral staff. For the 5th time, the referral staff sending the referral for my husband fractured back procedure. Have been waiting since July 23 Unacceptable And your portal sucks, no one uses it, even nurses complain

Negative experience: Went here bc they're my PCP (NOT FOR MUCH LONGER THO) my tooth got infected and my whole right side of my face was swelling. I went to the appointment I set, waited another half hour PAST my appointment, finally got seen and was given antibiotics. Next morning, BOTH sides of my face are swollen AND I'm STILL taking the antibiotics as prescribed. I called Palms to pass the message along to my provider, TWO hours later no call back. I leave 2 more messages before it's been FIVE hours with no call back on what to do. I go INTO palms to wait on my provider since they refuse to call me back, and my provider is on his lunch break, meanwhile I can't even eat lunch bc the swelling. They basically told me to go to the ER, even though my PALMS provider is who saw and treated me, and it was the palms provider's prescription that wasn't working. I pray the staff here are NEVER treated as carelessly as I was. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOURSELF OR YOUR PEOPLE, BECAUSE PALMS Doesn't AND They're NOT EVEN PROFESSIONAL ABOUT LETTING YOU KNOW THEY DONT CARE. SMH WORST EXPERIENCE WITH DR OFFICE I've ever had.

Fantastic experience: I was able to get a same day appointment. The provider I saw listened and diagnosed my problem(shingles) and the medication I was given helped tremendously. The pharmacy is also good to work with. I have been going to Palms Medical in Trenton for at least 40 years. (Even before they were Palms Medical), I highly recommend them for all your medical needs.

Negative experience: PA Shawn Robertson was very rude and was concerned about forcing drugs for me to take than to listen to the patient from the moment she stepped in the room. She was disgusted and did not want to be in. It seems to me that this place is a pill shop just like most doctors offices in America today. I felt very violated and anxiety. While being there I was there for three hours and nothing was done when I mean nothing was done. Absolutely nothing was done. The PA Shawn Robertson made me feel all these feelings due to her negligence and explaining or even listening to the patient I don’t think that a pa should be the one seeing me when I was told that it would be a medical doctor. You are falsely advertising yourself as a medical doctor when you are a PA you have crossed the line screaming down the hallway stating that you will get paid for this visit no matter what you will bill my insurance. I’m gonna repeat what I told you in that office you will not getpaid for this visit. I will be contacting my insurance company and letting them know about their experience with you and that you did not render any services You did do no services and you were belligerent please stay far far away from this office if you care about your health.

Fantastic experience: If you even need great care this is the place. We drive almost an hour because this is our preferred place! And we're been going for 7 years now! Staff is always helpful and they actually listen! Dental and health care are both excellent!!

Negative experience: I have been a patient with Palms since March of 2023 and in that time I have went through 3 providers. Each one has left the Trenton office just as soon as they start to get things figured out with my chronic health conditions and then I have to start all over fresh with a new provider. There is no continuity of care with them. I just received a call from the office today, canceling my Tuesday appointment because my provider Jessica Sheffield is now leaving their office. I am beyond disappointed that there is nowhere in the Tri-county area that offers quality healthcare.

Fantastic experience: I always have a pleasant experience with Palms. I use them as my PCP and chiropractor. The chiropractor Dr. Frazier is so nice and welcoming. I always look forward to an adjustment with Dr. Frazier. Highly recommend this place.

Negative experience: I love the front desk staff they do their best to schedule and check when Doctors are running behind. It’s just extremely sad that Dr Rooney runs hours behind he takes at least 2 hours on a simple filling on a 13 year old child that’s gives no problems in the chair. If he’s unable to provide service in the appropriate manner he should try a different profession. Not only is he unable to complete a filling he denies care because he says the insurance doesn’t pay enough. That’s not the patients fault they can’t afford good insurance or that the doctor signed a contract accepting the fees for service. Don’t accept the insurance fee if you’re going to deny the services that’s insurance fraud. He will deny a patient for a crown because insurance won’t pay enough he recommends putting a temporary crown on a permanent tooth. Not only does he recommend that he does this to patients on a regular bases. Knowing that a temporary crown is not fully fitted to the tooth which will allow the tooth to accrue decay/cavity's and possibly have to be extracted leaving the child with a huge problem and even costing the insurance more money in the long run. He accepted the insurance contract but found away around denying patients the services that he doesn’t want to accept the fees for. He is setting children up for failure and does not even think twice about it. He’ll tell you just go somewhere else and that’s fine for the parents that understand what he’s doing but parents that don’t understand the difference between a permanent crown and a temporary crown it’s very sad that they would even allow this to be done to children all because they don’t have good insurance. Not even only is he committing insurance fraud he’s harming children without them even knowing about it. When you do inappropriate service on a child causing them the possibility need an extracting when you were recommending a root canal and a crown to save the tooth it’s just sad that a Doctor that has the knowledge and knows what he’s doing could even do something like this. * when they extract teeth they don’t use space maintainers * they recommend temporary crowns on permanent teeth *they require gas on all child under a certain age that they will charge you for even though your child has never had to use it any other time she’s been to the dentist. Just to make it easier for them. *thy won’t charge you the difference to do the appropriate service on your child. They just allow them to do inappropriate things because of how the insurance pays. * they will run an hour behind an rush you through your appointment causing them to burn your child’s lip

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Palms Medical. I've been to a few places in my lifetime and Palms is as good as it gets. They listen patients and respond with the appropriate plan for care. Wait time is minimal, there is pre sign in that saves you time when you get there. Wait time is minimal. The Drs and nurses listen to your health concerns. Its not a drive thru fast food place, they want to understand what brings you in. Some of my specialist have just a few minutes, Palms takes the time necessary to understand. Good to know you have good care when you are sick. Highly recommend Palms for anyone. Still.

Fantastic experience: Over the moon happy with my 93 year old mother’s care! She just moved in with me from down south and I needed to find her a primary care provider that takes her insurance. Exceptional providers and scope of services. Can’t say enough about how grateful I am with the quality of care. Thank you SO MUCH!

Negative experience: Staff is nice enough but this clinic uses punitive prescription policies and none of the staff was specifically able to cite where the policy was. Further, my recent bloodwork took 44 days to get results for.

Fantastic experience: The nurses, PA, CNAs, and lab techs I saw today were all very kind and patient. I appreciated being able to address multiple concerns in one visit and getting lab work same day.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a fan of going to any doctor because they have no respect for other people's time by making you sit and wait for so long in the waiting room and again in the exam room. BUT taking my son to this doctor is actually a pleasure!! We've been there a few times now and never had to sit and wait so long, we checked in and we were brought into the exam room in about 10 minutes, and didn't have to sit and wait but just a few minutes for the nurse and a few minutes for the doctor. Plus, they accept my son with a vaccine exemption unlike many others that just turn him away because those vaccines line their pockets and he's not worth their time. Thank you Dr Ross I truly appreciate you for respecting our time and my choice to not pump my son full of questionable vaccine ingredients.

Fantastic experience: I like it when i go see my doctor, he alway listens to me. He checks every issue i have, and keeps me motivated to work on my strengths, and balance after my back surgery. He helping me to get ready for knee replacement in a couple of months.

Positive experience: I am giving it a 3 because of Dr.Cancel. He is a great caring doctor. However the nurses there are lacking in the ability to want to help you with anything outside of taking your blood pressure and info for the doctor. They don't want to bother with helping you with anything if you call. If you expect a call back from them you will wait a long time if you ever get a call back at all.

Negative experience: the actual doctor side is really good and everyone is very nice but the dental side is awful. just had a filling done and the two dentist ladies kept making insensitive comments about my tattoos. but that’s not it when they started working on my tooth even tho i expressed it was painful i was told it was “just pressure “ when it was actually a very sharp pain. then proceeded to spray water on my face the whole time, poked around needlessly in my mouth, took them 2 hours to finish one simple filling, and kept hitting my tooth i had just recently got a root canal done on and that hurt so bad. it was a overall painful bad experience. i will never be going back here

Positive experience: The doctors are fine, maybe need some sensitivity training. The staff on the other hand are understaffed underpaid and could not care about you as a person or anyone for that matter. Ignoring your information, not giving you the time of day. Please do not ask “what problems are you having” in an open area with a dozen other patients waiting around. Hand me a forum like every other medical professional on earth. Misdiagnosed, bordering on malpractice my primary is out of the state. When brought to them with the information of my condition they decided to ignore the prior diagnosis. Please don’t do that, you’re a Florida doctor you’re bordering on incompetent.

The bonus to going to Palms Medical in Trenton, Fl is that they have a pharmacy there. If you are prescribed any medication, you can have it before you leave. Very convenient.

Fantastic experience: My worry of finding a doctor for my meds has been resolved. I got to meet my new doctor (Dr. Hans Cancel) who was very intellectual and a joker. The nurses were all pranksters too. My results from 6 months were fantastic other than some two. In which, I will return next week for a new blood test. But other than that my experience at Palms Medical Trenton was fantastic!

Fantastic experience: I usually only go here for my blood work every other week. My experience is always delightful. The young lady who draws my blood is a pro! I have veins that like to roll around and they enjoy running from you, but this lovely nurse gets me every time. I believe she is a God send! I really wish I could remember her name, but she is the beautiful blonde with beautifully done makeup and she is very sweet and has a great attitude, I recommend her for all your blood work needs, even my Dad thinks she is pretty awesome, and if you knew my dad that is saying something! Thank you for your kindness and your service, keep up the great job bravo!!

Fantastic experience: I was nervous I felt very at ease and very comfortable there. They have a great staff.

Negative experience: Saw a PA named Philips at the Trenton office. I’ve been sick since January and over the counter wasn’t helping. He acknowledged I had bronchitis but wouldn’t prescribe anything. I explained that my throat is so swollen I need a drink to swallow food. He agreed that my tonsils were swollen but said to just take Claritin and Flonase. Come back when I’m wosrse. I want my money back! Think palms medical will keep a negative review up? Doubt it. Update: Got a call from DR.Thomas, head dr. at Palms. He defended his employee and essentially stated that Phillips did everything by the book. I tried to explain that my autonomy in my own medical care was taken from me, and it was brushed under the rug. I believe Dr. Thomas tried to alarm me by stating that antibiotics may not be enough. He wants to do bloodwork (to see if I’m anemic), chest X-rays, swabs, etc. I took him up on it. Still doesn’t explain why his employee didn’t explain or offer the same thing? Why just Flonase and Claritin? Why not explain things, TALK TO YOUR PATIENTS, and leave the final choice to the patient .

Fantastic experience: I must say I have been using Palms Medical Group in Lake City for a while for both my child and myself. While I love the staff there as well, I have moved to High Springs. I was MORE than impressed however, with the Trenton office and feel I have found my permanent provider in Dr. Curtis Kirby. He is so kind & caring and truly loves what he does and you can see it in his behavior. He was gentle in taking my stitches out which I was grateful for bc I was a grown scared woman The entire staff at the Trenton office blew me away with kindness. If you are interested in a more holistic approach to medicine and an office than accepts that route without shaming you, choose this location and make the drive to Trenton. I will be using this office from now on.

Negative experience: After sitting on hold for a combined time of an hour and a half and being hung up on 3 times and having to call back and sit on the phone on hold again and again the phone receptionist did not listen when I advised I didn't care where my son was seen I just needed a strep and flu test on him as my other son is already positive for both and we just needed him tested and treated she tried transferring me to the nurse for triage for that nurse to transfer me right back to phone reception for scheduling in Trenton because chiefland had no avaliable appointments. The phone was answered by a very rude receptionist that hung up on me and when I called back and set on hold for 15 more minutes she answered again stating she didn't remember talking to me until I stated my son's name and she then remembered everything. I advised the receptionist of my aggravation as i work in a doctors office and am one of the most understanding people of office protocols and how things work within an office and that if she was just going to hang up on me again or couldn't do her job in scheduling she could direct me to her manager and she was eager to then schedule my son promptly and upon arrival to the appointment the doctor only tested for strep was in and out heard no concerns and left.

Negative experience: I'm am terribly disappointed and my health My LIFE. PA K. McIntosh gave me bad advice concerning my kidneys My labs were showing kidney disease She did nothing but told me to drink water Nothing to worry about. Months later I had to change because of bad treatment from McIntosh When I was told by a different REAL DOCTOR.THAT IT HAD PROGRESSED TO STAGE 3 THE WORST PA I HAVE EVER SEEN I could have stopped this If I had known.Not only that I had covid I asked her to refill my prescriptions till I could come in.SHE REFUSED. MY SUGAR WENT WAY UP MY BP WAS OUT OF CONTROLL MCINTOSH IS RUDE AND IGNORANT DOESN'T NEED TO BE DOCTORING ANYONE.

The two front desk ladies was super nice, helpful, and caring and they both do there job amazingly. We waited no time before they called us and the triage nurse was absolutely the very best. She was so sweet and she cared about my little. Then thr provider, it was the first time seeing this doctor but she was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. so caring and she explained everything very well. We loved thos provider so much we would see her every time if possible. Everyone there today on this Saturday was amazing and our overall experience today was over he top.
