Fantastic experience: THE best veterinary clinic in the area!!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Both Doctors were amazing! My sweet girl ripped the tip of her tail off and unfortunately had to have her tail amputated. They were able to see us and do the surgery all in 24 hours! They quoted as they went and prices never changed. I highly recommend this place for in town or out of town pets!

She answered all my questions thoroughly and did not rush me when I needed time to plan out my appointment date. PetVet has kept my sweet Lady happy and healthy ever since I've moved here and will always be my go-to animal center!

Fantastic experience: Our experience with this practice for our dog and cats has been absolutely wonderful since we relocated from Montgomery 3.5 years ago. Such loving, caring and compassionate staff. Dr. Brawner, specifically, was so wonderful to my wife and I as we had to let our dog of 15 years go today. He laid out all options for us and fully supported and agreed with our decision to end her discomfort without prolonging any more, or worse, suffering. Cannot recommend this team of professionals enough.

Fantastic experience: Pet Vet is the BEST! They treat your babies like their own. Dr. Brawner helped save my sweet cat boy Buddy and helped our family say goodbye to my daughter’s cat at our home. Dr. Riggs saved my cat Jovi’s eye, worked with us to help our dog with some crazy GI issues and is now loving on two kitties we found abandoned and fostered. I couldn’t imagine any other group of caring, compassionate people taking care of my fur babies.

Fantastic experience: I had great experiences with Pet Vet of Auburn. They saved my cat from liver disease 5 years ago, and is still doing great to this day. We lost another cat of our to the very same problem, and we’re very warming to our loss. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I used PetVet for many years when I lived in Auburn, and they were the best vet we ever had. My large rescue had issues with other large dogs and would stop eating/get diarrhea/melt down if I had to board her somewhere. When she stayed there, the front desk kept her with them during the day so she wouldn’t be so sad and lonely. She was a difficult customer and they fawned over her like she was their favorite therapy dog. She never lost weight when she stayed with them. My dog passed away two years ago, and we moved away from Auburn six years ago, but I often think about what an amazing vet we had there and never found anyone who could match them.

Fantastic experience: Best place to take your fur babies in Auburn!

Negative experience: If you do not have a current Rabies vaccination certificate, be advised that PetVet may Force Board your pet if it shows "signs of rabies". My mini Dachshund's back toenail was growing into the pad of her toe. She was in severe pain, she was scared and the assistant quickly reached behind my pup to take her to weigh in and my pup turned her head and snapped. Apparently she broke the skin on her finger so we were told they would be Force Boarding her for 10 days. I was devastated to say the least. Being a stranger I feel the assistant should have protected herself since my puppy was in such pain. There are no signs posted stating if your pet snaps and makes any contact to an employee, this is their policy. Instead of paying $20 for a nail clip, I ended up paying over $500. I was even charged $4.40 per can of dog food while she was "in quarantine". I do not recommend this practice to anyone who loves their pet like their child. I will not be going back under any circumstance.

But everyone was super gentle with him and it blew my mind how he stayed calm during his shots/check up. Definitely a testament to the professionalism and compassion of these people. Amanda and the vet listened to my concerns and took their time to examine him and explain everything to me. Very affordable and I love that they go over pricing before hand so I had no surprises on my bill. I will definitely be bringing my babies here from now on!!!!

Fantastic experience: We came here from Atlanta because we heard Dr Brawner could help with our baby Morty’s broken jaw. He was attacked by another dog. We loaded up and drove there from Atlanta and I’m so glad we did. Dr Brawner is a real life super hero. The staff there are angels. We were genuinely BLOWN AWAY with the support we were given by everyone. I have never had a positive experience at a vet. They should have a tv show like Dr Jeff. As soon as you step in the door you’ll know you are somewhere that has you and your pets best interest in mind and not just money. They are very fairly priced. Amanda there is an absolute saint. We got multiple texts and calls and pictures with updates, and she loved on him and made sure he wasn’t sad during his stay. That meant so much to my wife and me. Other vets need to use PerVet as an example of how a veterinary practice should be. 11/10 experience. Wish I could put more stars. Thank you everyone, sincerely.

Fantastic experience: The vets I talked to here were more friendly and professional than some of the human doctors I've dealt with. There's not much I can think of that needs improving. Well worth the long drive up to Auburn.

Fantastic experience: I have never written a review before but PetVet was made such a scary event with my cat so much less scary! My cat Blueberry swallowed a chunk of ribbon and she had to have surgery to get it out. Dr. Riggs wasted no time getting her X-rays and figuring out the problem and just a few hours later Dr. Brawner performed the surgery with zero hiccups. They were super reasonable and open about their prices and kept Blueberry there for a few days to make sure she was ready to come home. They kept me updated the whole time and upon pickup the front ladies at the desk were so kind and gentle to Blueberry and me. I couldn't recommend this vet more!!!

Fantastic experience: I can promise you will be pleased. All of the staff there is exceptional and LOVE my dogs. Best vet hands down. We have been using them since about 2017. We have went through loss with them and we have went through joy with them. My high energy, high strung dogs have no problem being at ease at the vet with these guys!

I called these kind people and they allowed me to come in for his vaccinations and even postponed an appointment that the doctor, had, and waited for me to come. I will absolutely return if I ever need Vet services in the Auburn area.

Fantastic experience: they have taken very good care of my dog. she was very fearful about being at the vet, but they allowed us to do fear free visits that helped her get used to the staff. dr riggs and dr speed are great at what they do. the staff are very helpful and answer any questions i may have. amanda has been very helpful to us. all the staff are great, but we really love amanda-she is very knowledgable and patient with my girl. i wouldnt take her anywhere else. highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: I am a new client here as of today. I live in Birmingham and have yet to have needed an Auburn vet until now. They were very welcoming when I brought my pup, Aero, in after he got bit by a snake. Dr. Riggs and a vet technician, Ashley, helped us out today and took great care of him. Thank y'all!

Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of this clinic. It was recommended by a friend after my 13 year old terrier mix became very sick in a short amount of time. Dr. Riggs and other staff stayed after hours to make sure we covered all the bases and got to the bottom of what was going on. Moreover, both of my pets seemed to have caught a stomach bug that same night and they squeezed us in for the second time the very next morning. Dr. Riggs was extremely kind, welcoming, and happy to answer all of my questions. I have been searching for a vet I love in auburn and can confirm with 100% certainty that this is the best there is.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend PetVet enough. This is the best vet I have ever been to in my life. They are caring and compassionate and genuinely hope for the animals under their care. PetVet has been a lifesaver numerous times over the last few months as my 10-year-old pit's health began to decline. Not only did they provide her with quick and comprehensive care, but they also were transparent with me as an owner about what tests and such need to be run and why as well as the individual pricing breakdown. They broke everything down into layman's terms so I understood how they were helping my sweet girl. Unfortunately, the time came where there was not much else they could do and they recommended we put her down. The entire staff at PetVet; vet, vet techs, and receptionists; were so incredibly helpful, kind, and compassionate as we went through this process. At no point did I feel rushed and they let me have all the time I needed with my girl. Today I picked up her ashes, just to discover the PetVet staff had gotten and all signed a card sending sympathy for us. I have never heard of or dealt with a more caring vet staff. I cannot recommend or thank PetVet enough for all they have done and continue to do. As far as I am concerned, PetVet is the best vet in Auburn and your animals could not be in better care

Fantastic experience: If I could give a billion stars to PetVet, I would. They are so compassionate, transparent, and understanding. My dog had been sick for a few months, off and on. They told me all of my options without pressuring and were extremely transparent throughout the process. Today, she was extremely sick and they immediately saw and ran tests on her. Unfortunately, we had run out of options and had to put our sweet girl down. The vet and staff were so accommodating and let us have all the time we needed and then offered more. They made sure she was comfortable and provided a blanket for her as well. They never once rushed me and did not rush me to pay either. They were so understanding throughout the process, despite me being a mess, and reassured and comforted me. They even had a candle set out to honor my pet and let others know (picture attached). Despite the circumstances, I could not recommend PetVet more! Update: Picked up my girl’s ashes today and PetVet’s staff had written a handwritten letter with her paw prints inside. The one thing I wished I would’ve done before she passed was get her paw print in ink/clay, so I couldn’t be more grateful.

Fantastic experience: I have been to many vets searching for what to do about my pet's reoccurring bladder stones and the process was most thorough here. I feel like a participant in the process and I get the genuine impression that they care for my dog similarly to how I care about my dog. So refreshing to have extensive dialog about biological processes occurring in my dog and really getting to the bottom of issues she has had. We haven't made it out of the tunnel with her issues yet but I feel much better putting my dog's bladder stone problems in Dr. Brawner's hands. I have spent money in many places for this issue and I feel here they took the most direct route and all the recommendations made for treatment led to answers in telling the tale of my dog's genetic issue. I can't express enough how important it is to take this doctor's advice and make the payments for diagnosis. These costs were comparative if not cheaper in most regards. They do great work here!!! One year update: Amanda at pet vet is the most personable and lovely tech we have encountered. We have good service on a regular basis at pet vet but Amanda just adds an extra measure of personal care. She goes leaps and bounds above what we hope for and it feels like she truly cares about our dog Delta. We want to give a special shout out to her for all she does!

Fantastic experience: I was so worried moving to Auburn that I wouldn't be able to find a vet clinic as good as the one I've always taken my dogs to. This place exceeded my expectations! All of the staff are kind and knowledgeable and take extra care of my fur babies. I have a very reactive dog and they took every avenue to make sure he had a positive experience there- they did not push things with him and took the time to let him warm up to them. They also provide "fear free visits" to dogs like mine to just come in and get comfortable with the staff and rooms, then go out back and play! Why doesn't every vet clinic have this?! Trust me, I would only take my dogs to the best and this place makes me feel confident that they are getting exactly that!

Fantastic experience: Take my cat here for her yearly shots and exam. Staff and doctors are always so helpful and nice! Needed a last-minute boarding reservation for my cat after an emergency at my apartment a few weeks ago and the staff was so helpful in figuring out what I needed and how to make sure she was taken care of. It's nice to have a vet that cares as much about my cat as I do.

Fantastic experience: This is hands down the very best for your animals. They got it covered and then some. Never once have we had any trouble from them. Always very good at answering any and all concerns or questions we might have. We have taken all 10 of our dogs there and had surgery performed by Dr Riggs on a female dog with no problems at all. I can promise you this, you wont be disappointed at all. Love all of the employees at this place. Just yesterday, Dr. Speed was helping with one of our bulldogs. We love her because she is always very respectful and always willing to listen to any and all concerns or questions we may have. Thankss for all y'alls great service!!!!!!

Fantastic experience: Morgan and the Doctor were very friendly! They made me feel extremely comfortable my first time coming to PetVet and they answered all my questions. Once my dog warmed up to them, she loved them too! Morgan really put my mind at ease and she gave me helpful feedback that related to what she does for her own dog. If I weren’t moving to a new state, I would definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this clinic, easily the best one in the area. The staff is not only compassionate to the animals but kind to owners as well. They are the only clinic in the area that follows Fear Free principles which is meant to reduce the fear and stress of your pet's visit. Not only do they offer specific fear free visits to help your pet feel comfortable and safe without the added stress of a medical emergency but they take extra care during regular appointments as well (and yes it really works!). The staff is up to date and knowledgeable on both surgical procedures and drug protocols and they aren't afraid to collaborate with specialists when needed. And if you're worried all this must be out of budget I can assure you the clinic is very reasonably priced and works with both CareCredit and ScratchPay for owners that may need extra help. This is a clinic that will treat you and your pet right and who genuinely care about your pets' well being. I cannot recommend them enough!

I took my fractious cat here today and I was impressed by the feline exam room, equipped with Feliway pheromone spray and a scratching post. The staff treated my cat and me kindly, and both the techs and doctors were knowledgeable. Very happy with my experience!

Fantastic experience: Thank you Pet Vet for taking such great care of Rocko! My dog Rocko was frequently vomiting so I originally took him to Auburn University Emergency Vet Clinic.....they took x-rays and 2.5 hours later told me he swallowed a little ball, another 3 hours go by from taking an ultra sound and saying it was "in his small intestine" they finally tell me the surgery alone would be over $5,000 (not including the Emergency fee, xray, non needed ultrasound, meds he would need and nights he would stay). So, I told them I would take Rocko somewhere else. I drove to the next vet clinic I could find, and I'm glad it was PetVet! Dr. Brawner removed the ball from Rocko's stomach (not small intestine) using the xray from AU (we didn't even have the ultrasound paperwork) within an hour after I dropped him off. He of course had surgery, had medication, special food to bring home, a nail trim and all this added up was under a quarter of the JUST surgery price at Auburn University Emergency Vet. Dr. Brawner was very nice and informative. The staff is amazing, quick, polite, sweet, and all very caring! At AU Emergency Clinic I was a nervous wreck and really thought my dog was going to die, when I was at Pet Vet my nerves left my body and I knew I was leaving my baby in good hands! You can just tell when people care, and they definitely do! Thank you Dr. Brawner and staff!

Fantastic experience: PetVet is amazing. The staff are so friendly and the veterinarians are of the highest caliber. It is fairly inexpensive in comparison to what other vet offices charge. Everything is very affordable. Everyone that works there is amazing. My dog see Dr. Brawner and he couldn’t be anymore professional or knowledgeable. Great guy. TAKE YOUR PET HERE! You won’t be disappointed. PetVet is 5 stars all the way. No doubt about that.

Negative experience: Hey guys so I took my cat to pet vet a few weeks ago for a cough (which she had for a while but my vet back home recommended I take her every 2 months to make sure everything’s okay) they gave me the horrible news that she had a horrible heart murmur??? And then did expensive tests and said she was fine. Then days later she got an eye infection, so I took her back kind of mad Bc I knew she contracted it there, spent another $700 on unreasonable testing and now her cough is worse and her eye still has not gotten better. I’m a college student who has been working overtime to help her, but there only recommendation is to send her somewhere more expensive. I’m fine with spending money because this basically my child, but this has made my life a living hell watching her decline. Here’s the week difference
