Fantastic experience: My crown fell off again and they got me in quick, they were nice and very concerned if I was in pain. They told me all my options. I’m so glad I chose them and am very happy I get my dental care there.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming here for 15 years, maybe more. Dr. Ruder and his team provide excellent care. I spoke with an oral surgeon a few years ago who said he and his family drive an hour to see him because he’s the best in the KC metro. That’s me now. I live in Shawnee, but he’s worth the effort and the drive to know I’m getting proper care.

Negative experience: Went in three times to get cavities filled and my teeth cleaned. Idk what the heck they did to my back right teeth but they completely messed my teeth up and the fillings. The fillings have already fallen out after two weeks THANK GOD cause I couldn’t even floss or close my mouth all the way. Now I can no longer eat food or drink anything without having immense pain. Worse than before. I have to chew all food with my front teeth like an idiot. It hurts to use a water pick, floss, brush my back teeth and use mouth wash now. I ended up canceling further appointments with them.

Fantastic experience: Always the best experience! I am a huge baby and don’t do well with pain or discomfort. They always have an option for me no matter if it’s as simple as a cleaning or something more. I appreciate their services!

Not only were my questions answered, but I was very clearly shown on their computer what was going on & what needed to be done. Very informative. I didn’t feel any pain getting novocaine nor during my procedure. I highly recommend them & Dr. Lombardo!

Negative experience: Went in to get a sleep guard for my end to end bite. Initially told that I'll owe $122 and that my insurance was covering the guard. Now granted they were surprised about this as apparently the guard isn't usually covered but that's what I was quoted. After finally getting the guard made they go to set the guard on my teeth and it won't snap into place. They go into damage control and clearly don't want to make me a new guard so they offer a terrible football mouth guard that I can't even wear cause my gag reflex is so bad. Then they start telling me I should get retainers for gaps in my teeth a problem I never even mentioned but I guess to equal the cost of the original guard which is still what I'm being charged for on the bill I received. I was told it would be covered and i wouldn't even of wasted my time or money for a guard that wasnt covered under insurance and I get billed for 4x my original quoted amount. Extremely disappointed in my experience here and will never be back.

Fantastic experience: A wonderful experience. Everyone was caring, kind and professional. Did a through exam and came up with an affordable treatment plan that was suitable for my wallet and comfort. They explained everything in terms that were understandable and addressed all my concerns. Hopefully the cleaning and treatment goes as smoothly as the initial appointment.

Negative experience: Accepted my insurance and then charged me a bill where they didn't accept it. Over 800$ for one cap on my tooth. They just want money, they don't even do good dental work

Fantastic experience: My family and I have been going here for about the last 11 years now. They’ve always been polite and professional. They do an amazing job, especially with my kids. When I was young, I had some traumatic experiences with the dentist so it was important to me that my kids not experience the same. The staff here treat my girls with respect and tell them what’s going to happen before they do it. (Not in detail, but enough to not scare them) And they always treat us like family and remember what activities they’re doing.
