Fantastic experience: My dental anxiety is off the charts, so much so, that I am prone to anxiety/panic attacks. When I was experiencing a very bad toothache, and refused to go back to my regular dentist, I read reviews for Dr. Patel, and made the dreaded phone call. She took me in within 90 minutes - that in itself was amazing as many providers are not taking new patients. I also had an appointment the following morning. She and her team treated me as if I was a long-standing patient - their compassion, empathy, professionalism, dental knowledge, gentleness, and friendly interaction was 5 star. Even though their office was busy, they took time with me, explained what they were doing, and did not rush through my procedure. You can tell a happy office when everyone works so well together as a team, and that in itself helps calm the patient. I wish I had known about Dr. Patel when we first moved to Vermont from Connecticut 20 years ago - I would have a better set of teeth. And, she loves UCONN basketball - can't get better than that!

Dr. Patel provided me with details on what to expect at each step of the process, ensured that any discomfort was minimal, and that my implant matched my teeth and felt great in my mouth. Fantastic experience: The people who work here are wonderful! From Drs. Patel who explain patiently until you understand and do excellent work, to hygienists receptionists and other staff. Everyone is careful, kind and conscientious. If you’re a chicken like me, ask about nitrous oxide (laughing gas). Plus parking is plentiful and low stress.

Fantastic experience: I have an extreme phobia of dentistry and oral pain. I'd let that fear turn into nearly 20 years without seeing a dentist. I recently hit a point where dental work was unavoidable. I chose Patel dentistry based on references from friends and a community bulletin board. Dr Patel promises a nonjudgmental environment for those with difficult oral care history. I felt this from the moment I went through the door. The staff was both friendly and professional.They set a positive tone throughout my 3 days of care. I was always aware of my options and what I would pay in advance. Pain and the attached anxiety can put anyone in a very vulnerable position.Dr. Patel was 100% nonjudgmental as promised, but her empathy and care for my health was felt. She was responsive to any signs of pain and took the time to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Her work is skillful; I can't stop looking at my two fixed front teeth. Over the course of 2 days I had an extraction, at least 4 cavities filled and a deep cleaning. To Dr. Patel's credit I felt very little residual soreness and only needed Tylenol that evening. I have more work to do and I feel the confidence to go back. A++ update: 2 years later and My dental and overall health remains improved and continues to improve. Dr Patel has been an integral part of my care team. cosmetically I couldn't be happier but the real win is simply how much better my mouth feels on a day to day basis. id become accustomed to swelling and pain which is no longer present.

Fantastic experience: Great dental office,I wouldn't go elsewhere. I have been with them for years now, stemming from Dr Patel's beginnings with Dr Kmon's practice-Many many years ago! Dr. Alpa Patel continues to deliver the same service as her husband did, and keeps the practice going with the best staff and service still. Always highly recommend them! I wrote this review some time back, and after today's visit, my review remains the same! Very helpful with insurance too, and works with people that don't have any. Office staff is very knowledgeable too about all the goings on with one's visits, and procedures/things that are needed.

My teeth are complicated and I've almost never had to be referred out for a service not provided. In every emergency they've been there for me.

Fantastic experience: Dr Patel provides a very comprehensive description of her patients teeth, complete with effective recommendations for the better maintenance of one’s teeth and mouth. She used the latest hi tech X-rays along with a monitor that permits patients to view their teeth while she offers advice and a diagnosis about them. The others members of her staff are very competent and personable, always trying to make patients feel more comfortable. A most excellent practice. Just had my third visit with Dr. Patel since we moved to Lebanon. I have been impressed with Dr Patel's knowledge of everything connected with good teeth health, with the important details of the problems I've had with my teeth, and with her easy way of explaining those problems to me so I can understand what's at issue. My teeth have never been in better hands than hers, so I couldn't be any more satisfied than I am with her entire practice. I just saw Dr. Patel for my fall checkup and once again, no cavities. While I’m careful to take good care of my teeth, I firmly believe that the care she provides, the careful scrutiny of my teeth, jaw and mouth played a big role in my health. From the sophisticated pictures her equipment can provide of my teeth and gums to the specific and useful recommendations for cleaning my teeth, Dr. Patel has been more thorough than any dentist I’ve ever seen. I’ve run out of superlatives to describe her and her practice.

Negative experience: This review is strictly of their front office/admin Chantelle. I have not received care here, thus cannot comment. Over the course of 6 months from 12/2023-05/2024 I had multiple interactions with Chantelle that began as frustrating but progressed to unprofessional. New to the area, I need care for myself, my wife and two young children. Unbeknownst to me this group has the lengthiest, most detailed and unorganized intake of any dentist I've ever encountered. Chantelle send us the wrong lengthy packet of information to fill out initially. Once the updated paperwork was in hand 1 month later we could finally schedule, although it took Chantelle multiple back and forth phone calls to accomplish this for unknown reasons. This delay caused by her actions resulted in nearest appointments growing from a few weeks to 4-6 months in advance! We were now looking at intakes in May; it was January. A few weeks later my wife scheduled independently and had to accept an appointment in January 2025 (11 months later). Luckily I scheduled my children and myself for appointments in early May (4 months from January at this time) when I knew I would be off from work. Two months later I get an email from Chantelle saying they need all the paperwork again, which again is very lengthy and detailed. Luckily she was redirectable to an email chain we had corresponded multiple times. The kicker came when it was time for my children's appointment in May. Since I didn't get a confirmation closer to the day, I called to see if the appointment was still on. Turns out Chantelle never scheduled it! Zero responsibility taken which she says "I don't know how this happened." If you call here you get Chantelle. There's no indication anyone schedules but her. She tells me we can just reschedule for another time, now it's for late May in 3 weeks. Except I'm working night shift and cannot just take off. She seemingly couldn't understand that I scheduled this elusive appointment for my children during vacation so I could ensure they got care. Despite offering emergency appointments here, she refused to place my children into one of them. The next day she calls me and with gall informs me that my family has been dropped as patients. My appointment, which I waited 6 months for, was supposed to be in 2 days. Chantelle has to be one of the least competent front office staff. She was scattered from the very first interaction and led us through multiple missteps for what should be a simple scheduling phone call. Her inactions resulted in multiple delays in care. This is only amplified by her indignation despite being the root cause of an extraordinarily souring experience. If this was my practice I would seriously look into and pay closer attention to her actions. Maybe it's just me, but I don't know. Let me finish by saying that I called another dentist in the area who scheduled my wife and I for intake appointments May 14th, one week later. I suppose I'm partly to blame for not going elsewhere initially, but there's just no way I would have predicted this outcome. The dental care may be excellent, but dealing with Chantelle is actual pulling teeth.

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous going in because I knew there would be a few problems, but not once did she make me feel guilty or like I was doing something wrong. She explains what needs to be done and what the options are, and does everything she possibly can to make things as easy as possible. She did a fantastic job picking up the pieces of what my previous dentist had done, including fully replacing some poorly done veneers. She always works with where I am at and gives small steps to improve upon what is already been done. Dr. Patel is amazing. She is compassionate, understanding, and thorough. She always remembers me when I go in and the little things talked about, kids, family, travel, those tiny details that can be mentioned in passing and easily forgotten when the next person comes in. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of care I have received and the people who work there.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Patel is wonderful. I have receding gums and an extremely sensitive mouth, and stopped going to the dentist for years due to the pain and fear. Dr. Patel has made my visits much less painful and so much less traumatic. From shaking your skin when injecting a needle (for numbness) to counting as she does things, she will make everything easier for you. I really appreciate all the things she does to offer reassurance, comfort, and ease. If anyone has a fear of the dentist or any of the issues I described, I would highly recommend giving Dr. Patel and her fabulous team a try.
