Fantastic experience: Attention I am autistic. A Neurodivergent that recommend place because they understand and care. I was so anxious. I’m autistic hypersensitive They change the moment for me. Totally. The last experience tried to got help with a dentist before, was horrible. I lost my money. I feel like they scam me. And I am autistic. It’s more hard go and try again. However, to the moment I enter, the receptionist was very nice. The Dental assistant was so kind to start talk in Spanish as soon noticed my accent. She was very calm, without lost time. The doctor was very kind, explained me all the procedures and inclusive took the time to be sure we were understanding and me too. They explained me all the options for what I need. I didn’t decided at the moment because I’m have that kind the budget. Now I am between decisions, lot my teeth or rescue. The doctor recommended rescue, The budget pull off. And I am feel so much impotence. They are good, and I recommend 100%

Fantastic experience: My Bridge broke. Got an appointment pretty quick. They went over the process with me. Have to go back tomorrow for the measurement scan and they will fit me with a temporary until the new Bridge arrives. All went well.

Fantastic experience: Victor was awesome with his attentiveness adjusting my lower denture. And very professional and friendly. And Dr Edward’s was able to answer a few questions about my treatment process. All and all a good visit.

Fantastic experience: The people at this office are wonderful. They listened to me and my concerns and together we came up with a dental plan that works good for me.

Fantastic experience: They are rude when you call.their website is the first to pop up for state ins which they do not take even though its posted on THEIR web page. Finding places to take this ins is frustrating without wasting calls and time.

Negative experience: They have really weird rules about children. They don’t allow parents to go in the back with their kids for procedures, regardless of how young the kid is. So they could be doing God knows what to your kid in your absence and you’d never know. I have no idea why they don’t think this is a poor practice…

The office staff is efficient and friendly - never any issues booking or changing appointments, and billing is taken care of in a timely and transparent manner. Costs are broken down so that we know what is/isn't covered - and they will work with you to do more extensive work in stages. We've often recommended Elma Family Dental to friends in our community and will continue to do so.

Fantastic experience: I love having a Dental spot that makes me never consider any others. It’s odd but this place makes me look forward to dentist appointments. I feel they truly care about my health and happiness. I have dealt with several members of the staff and have enjoyed meeting all of them. Lindsey is pretty incredible, great conversation, and truly motivates to take care of teeth. Dr. Rosen is always great to work with, my most recent appointment just had a quick exam with him and even in such short time I felt the chat was productive and enjoyable.

Negative experience: After getting a good amount of work done and having fillings warrantied multiple times due to pain from their work (still not fixed), woke up late to an Elma Family Dental call with a fever after sleeping through my alarms. Apologized for not making it due to being sick to which they said it's fine but will be billing me $60 for a no snow? Pretty wild especially considering the amount of money I've spent there. Not to mention I stopped bringing my kids here due to their weird "policies" keeping parents away from their kids. Would not recommend. There are much better dentists even in Elma.

Walking me through every step. My teeth are happier for it and I'm thankful for the staff from the receptionist to the hygienist to the provider. The level of care, attention to detail, and thoroughness is worth my long drive. My doctor is caring as well, professional and compassionate. And everyone who helps with my care, from scheduling, intake, nursing, and my VA Coordinator, are all passionate about their work. Regardless of how busy the front may be, at times, with patient intake and phone calls, there’s never been a time when I didn’t feel seen or heard. I’ve never felt like a number here. Fantastic experience: Love these dudes and dudettes. Skilled folk, but also friendly and considerate. I have seen both good dental care and bad in the 11 states in which I have lived, and this place is tops among providers. My mother was a Dental Hygienist-- and would have been impressed by the two prior-Army dentists and the terrific Bulgarian, Dr. Rosen, and the staff members. Looking forward to my next dental repairs!

Fantastic experience: Today was my 1st visit. However comma, Dr Kathy was my Dentist in Shelton. Many of the team today were at the Shelton office at one time. Dr Rosen was very thorough and explanations were at a level I could understand which is appreciated . The team cares deeply about your Dental care and making a plan that fits your requirements.

Fantastic experience: I am, as many are, dentist averse. My anxiety goes thru the roof. Elma Family Dental not only hears my concerns but takes an active role in quieting that anxiety without judgement. I've used nitrous so far for my cleanings and will be using light sedation for upcoming more involved appointments. Both of my dental hygienists, Lindsay and Penny are amazing. I cannot believe I am leaving a 5 star review for a dentist! WORD!

Negative experience: They refuse to do just a cleaning, make you pay for scans you can’t afford. Never heard of this and the woman I spoke to was incredibly rude about it. I explained I’m unemployed but have saved up $ to get a cleaning and haven’t had one in awhile, and will get scans when I am working again. She said “if you don’t get scans we can’t do anything for you.” I called the other dental office down the street, they will just clean your teeth and charge you less for it! Additionally, they offer payment plans which EFD does not, which in a small town in our current economy is insane. Will never return.

Got me an appointment the next day. I was very impressed with how efficient everything was run met with the dentist and he devised a plan that was prompt and. I would recommend Elma family dental for anyone who needs dental care and efficient and professional staff

Fantastic experience: The best Dental experience I have ever had! The receptionist greeted me with a smile and assured me I was on time. I was worried I was late to my very first appointment and i didnt want to begin that way. The dental assistant was so much fun. She laughed with me. She put me at ease. I really like her. The Hygeniest was direct, but super nice. And the doctor was super nice too. No pain at all. I liked that there was no judgement!. My teeth are a mess. The estimate proved that. But no one made me feel uncomfortable at all about not being to a dentist in a several years.

Fantastic experience: I needed a a wisdom tooth extraction, the staff was prompt. Upbeat, and explained everything in detail. They really had it together here,very organized. And cheerful. The doc was out and they had a visiting doc. 5 years of experience he said. The guy was professional courteous and had the tooth out so fast. I think he is a very good doc.I would definitely be back to this clinic for all my dental needs. High praises and it did not brake the bank.

Positive experience: First time patient. They did a thorough look at my mouth and teeth and noted a few things to be watched and one current need. Also included me in deciding which ones were ok to just keep an eye on for now. I have some hearing problems and there is noise from adjoining treatment rooms and both people who worked with me had soft voices so I didn’t always hear instructions. There were times when I was in the chair that I didn’t know if there was someone still in the room or not. Second visit - still noisy but people that took care of me spoke up more so I could hear. Jackie was very friendly and helpful. Treatment was fine and next steps plan gave me options to consider . Most of which I cannot afford.

Fantastic experience: I may be biased because I live in Elma which makes it extremely convenient, however I must tell you EFD has consistently been great service. I have experienced high quality care and high quality customer service. The entire team runs like a well oiled machine focused on the needs and wants of each patient.

Negative experience: Every time I go there even being double insured I get a 400$ bill when they say I won’t owe anything.

Fantastic experience: Elma Family Dental is so wonderful! My first visit was to enroll my entire family as new patients. I just so happened to stop by on a day they were closed and still was warmly greeted at the front door. Katie was such a sweetheart and still welcomed me inside to get started with the process and to schedule first appointments. She took her time, was so kind and thorough. I work in customer service as well and Katie definitely went above and beyond! Elma Family Dental, you sure have a gem of an employee and you will have customers for life! Fantastic experience: I've only been there one time. Today was my first visit. The staff is very professional. Kelly was very helpful in the insurance expert. In my opinion, laid out my program of what I need done and have all the costs figures from my insurance company. I was very pleased that they could do that so fast. The dentist explained all my options. What needed to be done and what alternatives would be available also so I can choose four different options which was very very helpful. I just want to thank the staff very much and I'm very happy with them and I would highly recommend them.

Positive experience: It as a difficult day for everyone, a perfect storm you might say. But the office crew made it work. However my teeth do not feel like they should after a cleaning. Crowns in front feel still rough when they should feel smooth.

Negative experience: I’ve been a patient here for a long time. Recently, there have been a few discrepancies between the work actually done and what appears on the services rendered sheet. Today I noticed they charged my insurance for topical fluoride (a service I declined). I called to have the charge removed and the records corrected. At first, the front desk said they would take care of it, but then they called back to say the hygienist insisted she applied raspberry fluoride and they “can’t” change the billing. There are several problems with this: I clearly said NO to fluoride. I absolutely did not want it. Why would you claim to give me a substance without my consent? I’ve had fluoride treatments in the past… It leaves a residue on your teeth. There was no evidence of fluoride on my teeth. I hate raspberry. I would never choose that flavor. If something this simple is inaccurate, it makes me question what else in my records is wrong. What exactly is going on there? The cherry on top: they said it’s not a big deal if the fluoride is on my services rendered sheet because the insurance pays for that and it won’t come out of my own pocket. Sorry, I’m not supporting insurance fraud and I value accurate documentation in my medical records. I will not be going back.

Fantastic experience: Im new to the office and had my 2nd cleaning with them today. I like that they have a very friendly staff, and they listened and heard my concerns as I am super sensitive to tooth pain. They have been prompt on the 3 appointments that I've had with them, another for a cavity. The staff seems to work very efficiently together. I recommend this dental practice

Fantastic experience: This time I got to meet Dr. Deet, who is so-o-o compassionate and skilled. She and her team took all the time needed to complete the work to solve my problem. I was totally comfortable the entire time, knowing that I was in good hands. I would, and have, recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for exceptional dental care.

Fantastic experience: I really liked Dr. Deep, she did my cleaning & exam today & was great! I do think some more training for the hygiene assistant would be beneficial though (fulcrum when polishing, order of donning PPE, radiograph techniques, etc.), otherwise it was a great visit.

Negative experience: Got fillings done here , was suffering over a month could barely eat and still feeling pain from these fillings dentist told me I probably needed a root canal on one after he already did a filling on the tooth .. now they are referring me to a specialist had zero pain or issues with my teeth before I came here . Do Not recommend coming here .
