Negative experience: Regarding your response, first of all I was told to come back to the room. I had no problem waiting in the waiting room. He was very rude and aggressive. Your response says it all. We definitely made the right decision. I brought my daughter to her appointment. The assistant called her back. I asked the assisant if I needed to come back too. She said yes, I needed to sign a consent. The assistant showed me where to sit. I got up to get some coffee, coming back Dr Rick Alverez was in the room. He told me he didn't want me in here. I asked him if he was serious. He repeated himself twice in a rude agressive tone. " I'M SERIOUS I DON'T WANT YOU IN HERE." I left, and was very thankful he was unable to complete the procedure.

Fantastic experience: I was very impressed with this facility! The receptionist takes care of basically everything insurance and I can tell that she has a lot of confidence and experience! Patty, Ashley, and Jena took amazing care of us! And the doctor was just superb! I have two boys and they're mighty rambunctious and they handled them very well! We will continue to use them for all of our dental needs!

All of the employees including the front desk, assistant, hygienists etc. have been so fantastic and they really do treat you like family. Dr. Alvarez is very friendly and informative and I will say this is the first time I have ever felt truly no pain with the numbing shots! The hygienist, Jena, that I saw today is also amazing. She was so helpful and patient with educating me about options for prevention and was gentle but thorough with my cleaning. I am so impressed by this clinic and have already recommended it to anyone who will listen! The staff at Simply Smiles are so kind and professional and I love to come here, which is not something I have ever thought would be possible at a dental clinic!

Fantastic experience: Just had my 15-year dental checkup (I know . . . ) and was very pleasantly surprised. Obviously, I HATE going to the dentist, but believe it or not, I got a great report! AND everyone at Simply Smiles is incredibly professional while maintaining just the right amount of personality and kindness! Too much of one of those is never a good thing. I HIGHLY recommend this dentist. Like his staff, Dr. Alvarez is extremely attentive, professional, calming and very kind. Didn't feel rushed or like I was just another mouth full of teeth lying in a chair waiting to be fixed so the next mouth full of teeth could be thrown in the chair. You know, like Southwest Airlines used to make you feel when they herded you on and off like cattle. So, quit dreading going to the dentist by booking an appointment with Dr. Alvarez at Simply Smiles. I may even start going more often . . . I know . . . not unless I have to. Fantastic experience: Dr. Rick has a gentle & comforting "chair-side" manner. I have always requested gas with other dentists but from the start with Dr. Rick I never felt the need for it. He even pulled a tooth that, I thought was going to be hard, came out so easy I didn't even believe him at first when he said it was done! His staff is very personable & friendly. Negative experience: Service up to this point with the dental office has been Good I like the technicians and I like the dentist. Unfortunately, I can’t say so much for the accounting billing folks. Seems like every time I have something done there’s always an extra charge. You know another $10 for this or whatever. Today was the last straw. I had an appointment for an additional cleaning that they agreed to charge at the insurance rate. Since I made the appointment, I have changed jobs and have different insurance which I didn’t have the new card yet. When I went to pay, I was charged the full price for the cleaning not the insurance rate. I was given The excuse that That since I don’t have insurance, they can’t charge me the insurance rate. Since this is outside the insurance and it was a negotiation between myself and them for the extra service. What the heck does insurance have to do with it? The business manager or whatever position she has was adamant she has to report it to the insurance company, Even if they’re not paying for it. Whatever I guess if I didn’t have any insurance, I had to pay the full rate so I chose to pay the full rate for the cleaning today and And cancel all future appointments. If they would’ve just stood behind their word or told me before I went and sat in the chair that this was the case I probably would’ve been less upset. Poor customer service from the financial side.
