Fantastic experience: I called on a Thursday evening to get in for a tooth that was bothering me. I got right in Friday morning at the Kirkwood office and had my wisdom tooth successfully extracted. The staff were super friendly, explained everything, and answered all of my questions! I have never had such an amazing experience as a new patient and will be back with any issues that I have in the future!

Negative experience: I can't complain about the care. The office is clean and care is good. Prices are outrageous for a simple cleaning and Xrays if they deem you as needing periodontal maintenance. They are not able to explain how the cleaning is different to warrant the higher charge. Unless you have very good dental insurance, be prepared to pay over $500 for yearly Xray and cleaning.

Fantastic experience: I called on a Friday night, left and message and they texted me 8am the next morning that they had an appointment at 11. The text had a link in it for the paperwork to be filled out, it was seamless. Got to the appointment, they informed me that they were a tad bit behind of schedule, called me back and everything was explained with treatment and how much everything cost. Super nice doctor, amazing hygienist and the front desk staff were on top of everything. I actually cannot wait to go back to the dentist!

I had an appointment I had to cancel, I gave them a weeks notice not like it was last minute and as soon as the receptionist heard I was canceling her tone changed and she was rude and short with me, I just started a new job with new hours and I have to adjust my appointments accordingly. I called today as a new patient and they got me right in! My tooth had been hurting for some time and my regular dentist couldn't see me for months. The hygienists and Dentist were so nice! I had my tooth extracted the same day, i had to pay out of pocket so they gave me all of my options. Very clean, positive environment. Will be going there again! Thank you!

She got me in right on time, explained everything she was doing and why, which I really appreciated She gave me samples of specific floss I will need from my recent dental work and showed me how to use it. Dr. Spera came in when she was done cleaning my teeth and he was very pleasant as usual and he always has the best sense of humor and made me laugh!! Love Progressive Dental!! This morning was no exception when I had to go in for an emergency visit in Kirkwood - I received wonderful care and was treated quickly and thoroughly. (They even had a dental birthday bag of goodies waiting for me- so appreciated it!) As a nervous patient I also always appreciated Dr. Blanchard's kind and gentle manner when I had to go through the more difficult dental procedures- he made the visits less stressful and his expertise made me feel confident I was receiving the best care possible. Negative experience: So i had an appointment at the kirkwood location for 10 am on a Saturday, which was convenient given my work schedule. The following day after the appointment was made, the office calls me to ask if I would prefer to come at 8 am instead. So when I arrived at my appointment 21 minutes late in which I accept fault. The office said after 15 mins they drop the appointment. I was livid as I drove 20 mins to the office to get there and they drop appointment because I pass they grace period by 6 mins. If that wasn't the most unprofessional, inconsiderate way to treat a customer, then I don't know what is. At least a mom and pop dentist office would have at the very least call to see if your still attending your appointment. I wish to even remove this one star...cause that's more then I would give

Fantastic experience: I have trusted one dentist for the last 25 years. Today I went back for visalign to straighten my teeth after some shifting. As we get older apparently your teeth can shift. The girls explain the process and it’s painless. I appreciate going to a place that gets results and keeps me healthy. 5 stars..

However, knowing you are being cared for by an extraordinary staff of highly trained individuals that listen, explain your procedure in an easy-to-understand manner and provide a real compassionate caring environment, in a modern and clean environment, will alleviate your concerns. Yeah, that's a long sentence. In over three decades, my family has utilized Progressive Dental. They have provided my family with simple cleanings, standard fillings, braces, root canals, crowns and all sorts of diagnostics across those years. I could not and can not offer a higher rating of satisfaction with these folks. They are committed to providing advanced care in a highly professional manner while nestled in a compassionate environment where YOU are the most important thing they are focused on. Simply the best.

Fantastic experience: Kudos to the staff there! When I arrived, the receptionist was very friendly. My wait in the waiting room was minimal. My hygienist was also friendly and was very thorough and professional when examining and cleaning my teeth. When Dr Quinones came into check my teeth after cleaning, she also checked on how my night guard was doing. It fits me very well and it's very comfortable to wear, so I wear it nightly. I will know next visit to have my night guard professionally cleaned while there.
