Fantastic experience: My daughter and myself usually see Dr. Stonstreet but yesterday my 7 yr old needed an emergency appt when she fell and chipped her 2 front adult teeth along with a lip injury. We were seen right away by Dr. Tom and he explained everything in detail he was going to do and was absolutely excellent in the treatment of my daughter! Both dentists are fantastic no matter which one you see! The hygienists, assistants and front office staff are always nice and friendly and do their job well!! I ALWAYS recommend this practice when someone is in need of a dentist

Even though not standard because of COVID right now, they let me stay in the room so he felt more comfortable. They were very sensitive to his anxiety and were great with him. Fantastic experience: The day after Christmas I experienced a cracked tooth. Dr. Stonestreet of DeChellis Dental practice personally returned my call within an hour. He set up an appt. the following morning, fixed my tooth, and the results are excellent. He followed up the next day (a Saturday) to see how I was doing. I highly recommend this practice.

It was my front tooth , so that being said , I am so happy for their kindness and awesome work ❤️

Negative experience: If those of you consider these dentist good, I can't imagine what a bad dentist would be like. I'm very happy I moved away from the area and have a real dentist now. If you read above, I stated that I was very happy to move away from the area. We lived in the Boardman/Poland area for 5 years. Your Dentistry made me 2 mouth guards. After the 2nd year, they started to disintegrate in my mouth. That is not what I call quality workmanship. So, Yes, I DO HAVE the Correct office. I lived in Poland OH for 5 yrs. YOur statement that I was never a patient there only confirms my post of only 1 star. I went there for at least 2 yrs.

Negative experience: First, the dentists and assistants are great. I was a patient for 10 years. The front desk led by Jen is shockingly rude/unprofessional. I was just informed because I missed an appointment in 2022 (during the pandemic) I was banned as a patient. My wife also left the practice as did my adult daughter prior to this because of their front desk rudeness. I did not as an individual nor did I experience the rudeness they did during their visits. I was informed that as part of their policy (I had no idea) that if anyone in the family (adults or not) miss appointments or go to another dentist everyone is banned. I was confused and shocked and showed up to the office to ask politely. Jen could not find anything on my record except that one missed appointment and then escalated and told me that I was prohibited from the premises after I asked to talk to the dentist (politely). I am shocked and have never experienced anything like this is a medical practice or frankly any consumer/retail service. I was never notified in writing or by the dentist just suddenly today (after they hung up on me after I inquired to as why). I am uncertain as if this is accepted by the doctors as part of their practice but I would warn anyone that this front desk group often talks out loud about patient information in the form of gossip and is shockingly rude. The practitioners are great but not the front desk.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tom DeChellis is one of the most honest, kindest, considerate doctors I have ever encountered. The patience, time and care he spends with me and my two boy is awesome. His entire staff is that way as well. It's not surprising at all though because his father, who recently retired and was my dentist, is the same exact way. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Believe it! Tom and his office are some of the nicest people you will find on earth not to mention they are extremely organized, thorough and attentive. I highly recommend this dental practice for kids and adults. They are the best!

Fantastic experience: I had be diagnosed with a tooth infection and my previous dentist had made an appointment about a month out after I was in pain for about 3 weeks. A friend had reached out to me about Dr. DeChellis and I was given an appointment 2 days after calling! Got my tooth pulled and he was very caring making sure I wasn't in pain. I will probably be switching to him for all my dental needs. 5/5.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I had a great experience with Dr. Tom and our hygienists yesterday. Very friendly and professional. We were again not happy with our experience with the office staff. Last visit, which was our first regular checkup,we were not informed of the 10% discount for cash or check and used a credit card which cost us $50 extra. Yesterday, we came in with our Anthem CASH debit cards for dental expenses and were then told that this CASH card would not be qualify for the 10% discount. We had to pay with a check to get the discount. You do not accept the dental insurance that our Anthem Advantage Plan provides. We were confident that you would accept this CASH DEBIT CARD and give us the discount. Not so. We came to Dr. Tom DeChellis because of our our relationship with Dr. Don and his wife. We are very happy with Dr. Tom and hygienists and would like a better policy on paying our bill. Thank you. John & Judy Fleming
