Fantastic experience: I've been seeing Mrs. Laura for many years an she is very professional an her staff are super nice an professional ! Never had any problems with her dental work ! If you're looking a top of line Dentist then Mrs. Laura is the one !

Negative experience: She is a criminal (Dr Godwin) She drilled and filled tooth #19 and as I am visiting a new dentist today for a 2nd opinion, only 1 year later, I am finding out this tooth #19 is filled with a cavity on the inside. Meaning she did not remove the entire cavity but sealed the tooth with a cavity inside. I should be given a refund for all the work she did! This is criminal! I called and left her a message about the tooth but she ignores my calls. Also I payed all my bills the same day of service & still got a bill for $100 which I also paid her & later found out from my insurance that nothing that was submitted by her office staff was rejected by my insurance so her $100 bill that I got in the mail because my insurance “did not cover it” was a lie to get me to pay her more money which I did! I was also threatened by her (Dr Godwin) over the phone that she was going to send my bill for $100 to collections if I did not pay when I had called her to dispute the bill. She should not be in practice as a dentist! She is unethical! What is wrong with the world we are living in? This is insane! Update: Also please note that I got a 3rd opinion & just like the second opinion dentist said tooth #19 is full of a cavity on the inside. I will continue to update!

Fantastic experience: I called Greenhouse Family Dentistry after being completely misdiagnosed by another “dentist office” in Erwin. I spoke with Kelly who immediately heard the pain in my voice and found a way to work me into see Dr. Godwin. Upon arriving to the office, Kelly and Donna immediately greeted me with smiles and put me at ease. The kindest dental staff welcomed me to the back exam area, gently completed xrays, and showed so much compassion and understanding. Dr. Godwin immediately diagnosed my issue (correctly I might add) and took time to answer all my questions ensuring that I understood. She was professional, knowledgeable, and personal all at the same time! Greenhouse Family Dentistry now treats my entire family! BEST dental office, staff, and dentist ever!!!!

Positive experience: Well kept facility with ample parking for clients. Friendly staff. Their main issue has to do with scheduling/office management personnel and/or systems. I made an appointment ~6 months ago for a routine cleaning. I confirmed my appointment via text ~3 weeks ago and when I arrived for my appointment, 2 minutes early, I found out that they had no record of my appointment and couldn't accommodate the cleaning. Unless you have plenty of time to waste and live near their facility, I would consider other alternatives. FYI - I have included a screenshot of my exchange with their automated appointment management system as evidence.

Fantastic experience: I love this dentist! I have a general fear of dentists due to past experiences as a child. However, this practice is great! The staff is friendly and caring. The dentist is reassuring and very good at what she does. They also give a discount for clients who don't have insurance and have to pay out of pocket. Thank you Dr. Godwin! I'm so glad I found you!

Fantastic experience: I wish i could give this office more stars! I loveeeeeee this dentist! I was referred here from my mom who does not like dentists and loved Dr. Godwin. The building is sooo cute, it truly is a little green building! And the team is so kind and caring! I left with a beautiful white smile feeling great! The first appointment was long, but worth every second. I took my daughter with me and the tech made sure she was entertained and cared for! Never finding another dentist ❤️ Update to my original review…..I truly love Dr. Godwin and her whole team! I went back today (6/24 3 weeks after original cleaning visit) to have two cavities filled and I was in tears by the end because my heart was overwhelmed with gratitude. Dr. Godwin was so gentle and I didn’t feel any pain at all, even from the numbing needle! And at the end she even polished some of the staining that was on my front teeth. I wanted to hug her so badly!!! I did tear up and left feeling so good about myself. Thank you so much to this whole team and know that I am looking forward to seeing y'all again! Fantastic experience: I went to Dr. Godwin to get a second opinion, and now I’m switching myself and my family over to her practice! My previous dentist at a large practice, told me I had a fracture in my tooth and needed a crown and possibly a root canal. After having X-rays at Dr. Godwin’s, I learned I don’t have a fracture or need any treatment at this time! She gave me some ideas to help the occasional discomfort in the gumline of my filling. I feel like my original dentist, at the office I have been going to for 11 years, lied to me, just so they could make money from unnecessary treatments! I am so glad my friend told me about Dr. Godwin and Greenhouse Dentistry!! The staff and dentist are kind, professional, and honest!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Greenhouse Dentistry for a couple of years now. All of the staff are very warm and welcoming. I have previously had terrible experiences at a different dentist in my lifetime. At my first appointment, I let Bailey (dental hygienist) know about my previous experiences. She was so kind and gentle. She took her time and was very thorough. Not only does she do a great job but she is also very personable, and enjoys her job. With her and the rest of the Greenhouse Family Dentistry Staff, I look forward to my cleanings every 6 months.

Positive experience: Came in for a first-time visit. I was seen rather quickly, so that was nice. I had a molar giving me issues. Also, I needed a few cosmetic tweeks. The building was absolutely beautiful. It is really nice & very clean, farmhouse style with beautiful windows to see the outdoors from the exam rooms. No fish tank lol The dental technician was so very kind and attentive. She was the star of the day! The dentist was professional. Went to check out and pay my bill for the visit. I don't have dental insurance. I'm self pay. I did receive 10% off the visit, so that was appreciated. The visit was for a paid consultation. When I asked the older lady with blonde shoulder-length hair at the front desk about Care Credit Card promotions, she was a bit rude. As I was checking out, I asked questions about price and payment. She gave an extremely long explanation about Care Credit, which doesn't "help their office." And she made me feel like I shouldn't use it. I did ask if it would be best to use my bank debit card for my visit instead of the Care Credit Card I was going to use. She then said, "Oh no, we take it." But let me say this, she was not a fan of that form of payment for services. My estimate was printed and given to me for the next visit/visits that I was going to schedule. I was willing to schedule due to the dental technician and dentist herself. wereso nice. But at the end of the day, I decided it was a no-go. I didn't want to hear the front desk lady how using Care Credit was almost an inconvenience to their office. So, I sought out my treatment elsewhere. $800.00 plus loss for them. No matter how someone pays, it's still profit at the end of the day.

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to the dentist since I could remember, I finally decided to utilize the dental insurance I pay for and chose Dr. Godwin based on reviews and location. I have now been there 3 times over the last 6 months and each time has been a wonderful experience. Donna at the front desk is so helpful and kind. She provides an estimate of costs so you can plan accordingly. Dr. Godwin and the hygienists provide thoughtful feedback and listen to your concerns about health/costs of any recommendations and provide cost/benefit options. I have had my teeth cleaned twice by Bailey who is so personable! I wish I could talk to her more during the cleaning process lol. Dr. Godwin did a great job filling some old cavities and educating me about symptoms to look out for. I now wear a night guard and use a water pik to complement flossing and preserve my back teeth- I have noticed improvements based on these changes. The place is also decorated so cute and cozy. I always feel so welcome, trust their care and advice, and highly recommend Dr. Godwin and her staff!

Once we locate the best, we stay. We've seen two prior dentist through to retirements, now happy to have found Dr. Godwin. I have never experienced more caring, professional staff at any office. She must be exceptional to have all 5 star staff.

She makes sure you are comfortable during your procedure in many ways and explained even the details during my procedure to me. She has Excellent bedside manners. Fantastic experience: First I want to everyone to know I am a orthodontics patient! I have never experienced a bad situation. There has been two times to where I had to be reschedule due to staffing/covid but that didn’t bother me one bit because this is a small office family oriented office. So it happens. But I want to say that Dr Godwin takes pride in her work. She pays extra attention to detail of anything she does. She makes sure you are comfortable and answers all questions.

Her educational background impressed me. The faculty at UNC always complimented her work, and I noticed. It was a sad day for me when she graduated. When it came time to find a new dentist I didn't hesitate to look her up. Fortunately she was practicing near where I live and was able to follow-up over 10 years later. Positive experience: The office is clean. Front office staff is ok but short when talking to people. Hygienist's are ok, for people who don't have any problems or if you don't have any orthodontic work. They can't work with any children who are on the autism spectrum or have any special needs. The staff including the dentist will refuse to work with you if you have any questions about care or question their plan.

Fantastic experience: After moving to the area from Raleigh a few years ago, I needed to find a new Dentist in the Smithfield/Four Oaks area. A year ago I had a severe tooth ache that needed immediate attention. I found Dr. Godwin online with great reviews so I contacted her office and they were able to get me in within 24 hours! What a great experience as I was greeted by Donna the receptionist whom greeted me with a warm smile to start my new journey! She was very knowledgeable and professional with getting my insurance in order and we proceeded to move forward! Dr. Godwin's staff was amazing and made me feel right at home. Dr. Godwin examined me and recommended what she felt was needed to get me back on track and took care of my delemia! She is so warm and wonderful when explaining to me in great detail of what she outlined to get my teeth back to perfect! I left there that day and told my wife how great Dr. Godwin and her staff was and immediately contacted my previous dentist of over 20 years to have them send her my records.....I had found a new home in Greenhouse Denistry! I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a top notch organization!
