Personally, I appreciate how they have offered advice without judgment. They have helped me be proactive and avoid future pains. I also appreciate how they’ve helped build a positive dental experience for my young children. I can remember my youngest daughter’s first visit and how the hygenest invited her to try some of the tools. We have always left with a smile on our face!

I have every laminated news clipping of my kids from the local newspaper thanks to Lisbon smiles. I am not comfortable with dental work and he has worked hard to have me relax and come back. His staff are one of a kind professional and nice.

Fantastic experience: One of my teeth broke..and I dislike going to dentist due to have previous encounters with other dentist invalidating me when I can feel they are working on teeth. This experience is by far the best I have had in a long time, Dr Nelson made sure I didn’t feel pain and just the pressure of the tooth removal and did not start until I was to that point. I will definitely make this dental office my first pick to refer others too.

Fantastic experience: I was recently diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia, a painful nerve condition of the facial area. Dr. Nelson and his team were very sensitive to my concerns regarding a broken wisdom tooth that needed to be extracted, and the risks it posed. I felt well understood. The entire process was seamless with zero pain neither during the procedure nor afterwards. I went straight back to work for the rest of the day and encountered no swelling or pain. I am beyond thankful for Dr. Nelson’s expertise which has given me great relief from the t-nerve pain.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nelson and his team have provided exceptional care for my family and myself over the past several years. They have state of the art facility and equipment that allows us to have majority of our dental work completed in his office so we don’t have to travel to complete our dental care. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Dr Nelson and the staff at Lisbon Smiles. I had a lot of work done and it was one of the best dental experience I’ve ever had. Dr Nelson is reassuring and explained the procedures in detail. The staff is courteous and goes above and beyond to work with your schedule. I feel so strongly about the care I received, I continued my treatment even when my work took me back to Sioux Falls, SD. It is worth the 3-1/2 hour drive. I recommend Lisbon Smiles without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal done today. U all know how we cringe bout that. It went really well. Best I’ve ever had. A mosquito bite hurts worse. Dr. Ryan is so gentle. Kari Wehlander is so good too. She explained everything to me as we went along with the procedure.

Fantastic experience: I had scheduled appointments for myself and my 5 year old son. Something came up last minute and I was unable to make the appointments at the scheduled time. They were able move some things around and accommodate our immediate need, which was my son, who had a bad abscess tooth! They were all very professional and friendly! As a walked in the front door, I was greeted by name by the receptionist. She was very kind and always smiling. The assistant that took us back was great too! I did not get a chance to meet the dentist, as I waited in the lobby. I was nervous about that at first, but the receptionist was giving me updates from the back staff and we could hear him laughing, so apparently they were doing something right! The gal in the business office was also very informative and friendly and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend this office as a dental home for individuals and families!
