Little Heroes Pediatric Dentistry

Negative experience: Terrible wait times. Over booked schedule leads to a full waiting area and over an hour past scheduled appt before your seen. Also had to request a credit to be given back, that I didn't even know we over paid. More details to come. On my way home from the office now. Did not recieve service, as they wanted to do a third xray within 3 months after they've already depleted our insurance for the year.

Fantastic experience: They did amazing with my child. She is 5 years old with autism and epilepsy! They were kind and gentle yet firm. We will be back !

Fantastic experience: I just can't say enough good things about this office! I make the drive all the way from Connersville, and after 5 years of bringing my three little ones here — ages 7, 4, and 2 — I can tell you with my whole heart it is worth every single mile. When my oldest first came in, his teeth were in real bad shape and I was plenty worried. But this amazing team didn't just fix up his smile and send us on our way — they turned things completely around for him. His hygiene has come so far over the years, he's eating so much better, and the confidence he's got now just shines through in everything he does. His teachers have even noticed how much better he's doing in school. I never would've thought a dental office could make that kind of difference in a child's whole life, but I'm here to tell you it sure can. My 4-year-old had been struggling with a speech delay for the longest time. We'd been to his pediatrician, we'd worked with a speech therapist, and we just weren't getting anywhere. It was Dr. Gupta who figured out he had a tongue and lip tie that nobody else had caught. After the Frenectomy, the change in his speech was something else — I still tear up thinking about it. This team gave my little boy his voice, and I don't take that lightly one bit. And my 2-year-old is already off to a great start, thanks to how gentle and patient and kind every single person here is with the little ones. We owe so much to this wonderful team. If you're looking for folks who truly care — not just about teeth, but about your whole child — this is your place. We ain't going anywhere.

Negative experience: I have way too many negative things to say about this location, it’s, Dentist, its staff, the experience… We are coming from Fishers and was very limited to pediatric dentist. Scheduled 2 of our 3 children here, only to experience long waits, rude incompetent and unprofessional staff and while we were there, the manager and one of the front desk receptionist got into an argument and she walked out. It was just an all around very awkward experience. Once they finally got my eldest child in a room, the assistant seemed as if she lacked all skills. Didn’t know which connection to use, kept walking in and out as if she forgot what she came into the room for. We ended up canceling my daughter’s appt after they told my husband our 5 year old couldn’t be in the room for her simple cleaning and asked us to let him stay in the waiting area by himself. Now why would I trust my child out in the waiting room when their front staff can’t seem to get along? I called for my son’s records as we are switching right back out of this office, and the assistant refused. I specifically stated his Orthodontist wanted to see how his teeth have been changing over the last year and wanted those X-rays, and I was still met with he didn’t need them since he needed new X-rays. She then said she would send them just to get off the phone but of course the email on file was incorrect and she never clarified. A manager ended up called me back but this is just a poorly ran office and not worth the headache. Traveling an hr 1/2 back to our old dentist is worth the drive. Better than dealing with the anxiety and stress this place delivers each time you have to interact with them. Untrustworthy. Incompetent. Unprofessional staff.

Negative experience: My review is mixed. I love the dentists and the office staff, but, with that being said the office manager was very rude and pushy with me. He insisted that I agree to an in office anesthesia for my child. I told him that was not an option partly due to out of pocket cost, but mainly to keep my already traumatized child from becoming even more traumatized. He basically called me a bad parent. Telling me I was prolonging her pain. Which my child will tell you she isn't experiencing any pain whatsoever. I was then told she had 3 abscessed teeth that needed to be extracted. My previous experience with all dentists I've been too will NOT extract an infected tooth without first going through a ten day antibiotic regiment. I'm just really disappointed with the treatment I received from the office manager. So my recommendation is to stand your ground and don't become a victim of someone trying to bully you into a procedure you are not comfortable receiving for your child.

Fantastic experience: We had such a great experience at this office. The appointment did run a bit longer than expected but honestly it was completely worth it a big part of that time was spent with the dentist sitting on the floor with my child helping her feel comfortable and safe which made all the difference every single person on the team was kind patient and generally helpful they went out of their way to keep my child calm and we're even able to get same damn treatment done which was a huge relief. while we were in the waiting room I spoke with another parent who mentioned they've been coming here for years and have had the same experience over the years. including being able to get things done on the same day! it's clear this team truly cares about their patients highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough great things about Little Heroes Pediatric Dentistry in New Castle. My daughter had a tooth that another dentist said needed to be pulled, but here they gave her a white zirconia crown that looks completely natural. She was smiling all the way home! The appointment was smooth, no long wait, and every single staff member was so kind and patient. Highly recommend to every parent.

Negative experience: Highly discourage anyone from going to this practice. My 3 old special needs daughter was left to sit in exam chair for an hour and 45 minutes before I left without her being seen by doctor. Who knows how much longer she would have waited if I did not leave then. I was told at one point to wait in waiting room. When I returned to room, she was soaked in urine from being scared away from me. Our hygienist left us in exam room for a long period of time without explaining to us when she would be back or where she was going. We were told conflicting information about her treatment. I was asked to sign consent forms about possible procedures being suggested before the doctor even saw her. Neither the receptionist, hygienist, doctor, or manager at practice that day asked why we were leaving. They did not call to follow up either. No apology or care given. I would never entrust my child's care with them.

Fantastic experience: office! They were able to get my daughter in very quickly, which meant so much to us. The staff was kind, patient, and made her feel comfortable the entire time. They took care of her teeth the same day, which saved us from having to make multiple appointments. I’m so grateful for how efficient and caring Dr Gupta and Mallory were. Highly recommend! Fantastic experience: Dr. Gupta and the team at Little Heroes are exceptional and care not only about the little ones but about the whole family. They took care of multiple crowns for our daughter and then addressed a question my husband had and did a X-ray for him and prescribed him antibiotics for his tooth until he could see his dentist. They really go above and beyond here and are worth the trip.

Negative experience: Came here for my 2 year olds second dentist visit. We had established care with a dentist in Fishers when we lived closer to there, but when I called Little Hero’s, I was told on the phone it would only be $75 for his visit (the place in Fishers said over $200) because we don’t have dental insurance. Mind you, I explained that he already has had his first initial dental exam last year and that he was just due for his 6 month follow up. Fast forward to his appointment, the lady at the front desk told me it was $200 and something upon checking in. I was taken back, and said “I was told $75 when I called and asked”. She said she was the one I spoke to and that wasn’t correct. If she hadn’t told me it was $75 and it was going to be the same price as his dentist in Fishers, I would have just made the drive over there because we liked them, but was trying to stay closer and save money. That should have been my first red flag. We were already there, so we decided just to continue with his appointment. Then she talked me into their “plan” to prepaying for a discount for his next visit. DO NOT DO IT!!!!! After his “care” we definitely will NOT be back. When he was called back, only one adult can go, so I went with him and my husband had to stay in the waiting room. I’m assuming the girl who took us back with a dental assistant, she started getting history and then a guy knocked on the door and came in and was stressing over the fact that another room need to be cleaned. It seemed completely rude that he interrupted our visit to have her go clean another room and then he took over entering my son‘s information in the computer, even though I had already filled out all the paperwork prior to the visit. The most frustrating part is, he never introduced himself or his title. Then a little bit later, the first girl came back with another female, again neither one of them introduced themselves, so I had no idea what their names or titles were. The second lady, I assumed to be the dentist because she started looking in my son‘s mouth and then when I asked questions, she told me I would have to direct those to the dentist. Later on the dentist came in and it was okay, but for the $260 some dollars I spent, not worth it. It was supposed to be his first cleaning visit and all they did was counted his teeth and told me a couple concerns that had already been brought up at his first dentist appointment before, then left. NO ONE ever introduced themselves or their titles, they all seemed very rushed and didn’t seem to cater to pediatric dentistry, especially for a very nervous 2 year old who was forced to lay in the chair (the other office allowed him to sit on my lap and lean back, which he was fine with). Even when the dentist was looking in his mouth, her light was directly in his eyes, which she didn’t seem to notice until I came over and put my hand over his eyes to shield him. Another concerning thing is there was not one, but 2 cameras in the exam room. Never in my life have I been in an exam room (even a dentist room) where there are cameras in the exam room. Definitely gave off red flags. I feel awful for bringing my 2 year old here and will NEVER return to this practice.

Negative experience: I have taken both my kids to this dentist more than once for the past few years the wait time is terrible I set an office for over an hour more than once and I'm a very patient person but the thing that took me away from this dentist is the fact that they told me that my son needed to get his two teeth pulled up top because they were coming at an angle and blocking his adult teeth my child is only eight my insurance doesn't cover them since they're out of pocket and it was going to cost me $2,500 so I did what anyone would do go to another dentist to get it checked and schedule the surgery with an in-network so that way it wouldn't cost me so much money and then I would have come back but then after going there and getting another opinion they said they seen no reason to remove his two teeth and said that they don't fall out until around age 8 to 11 and that it's best to let nature take its course and they see no concerns whatsoever so I have a very hard time understanding why they would recommend surgery on a child and another one would not and for that reason I feel like this dentist is very untrustworthy and my children will no longer be going there. Also I waited over 2 months and called them more than once and got told I would get email with the appointment so I could forward it to this other dentist and I never got nothing and I had to drive there to get it printed off the communication here is the worst I've ever seen I do not recommend this dentist whatsoever why put a child through pain if they don't need to go through it I highly recommend getting a second opinion if you get told this by them think of the children not going to a dentist that thinks about their pockets.

Fantastic experience: We went to Little Heroes in New Castle for a second opinion after being told my five year old needed to be put under general anesthesia for her dental work. Dr. Gupta spent a lot of time with us. She listened well, demonstrated genuine care for my child's wellbeing and treated her with respect and autonomy despite her young age. The plan she came up with included treating the root of the problem (tongue tie) the other two dentists my daughter saw did not realize this issue and could not explain why she was having cavities. I feel complete trust with this office and feel really comfortable and safe with them. Yes, as other reviewers say there was a long wait but I found that it was worth it. We were there for two hours total and left with a really solid treatment plan, two caps painlessly installed and photos and xrays. This is our first impression - I will update my review if my experience changes as we continue with Little Heroes but I do not foresee that happening.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I traveled four hours to see Dr. Gupta after my own dentist—who brings his own children here—highly recommended her. Two other dentists had suggested sedation for my son, but Dr. Gupta was able to complete all of his treatment comfortably without sedation. She was so gentle, calm, and reassuring throughout the entire visit. What really impressed me was how conservative and ethical she is. Unlike our previous dentist who wanted to treat every tooth, Dr. Gupta carefully evaluated each one, showed me detailed photos, and explained why certain teeth didn’t need treatment yet. She truly puts the child’s comfort and long-term health first. We could not be happier with our experience, and my son is actually excited to go back—something I never thought I’d say about a dental visit! Thank you, Dr. Gupta, for your honesty, skill, and kindness.

Negative experience: I absolutely would give zero stars if I could . The wait time was Incredibly unprofessional. We arrived early and expected to wait maybe 30 or 40 minutes Tops because it did seem busy. Well, busy doesn't even begin to describe it. It was so packed we had to wait outside and keep coming in to check. I was told several times "15" minutes or "5 minutes " and we would be seen. The staff does a poor job of scheduling, I've never been in a more stressful waiting room, inadequate seating, everyone waiting more than 30 minutes with no in or out flow. I couldn't stay any longer after waiting an hour and 15 minutes and was never seen, will never return to this office and will never recommend it to anyone. 0/0

Fantastic experience: My family and I had an excellent experience with Dr.Guptia, my son has had issues in the past with dentists and just being uncomfortable in general and this place went out of their way to make him feel happy, comfortable and safe! We are grateful for the people we had working with us to make sure his teeth are in the best possible shape. Thank you guys again!

Negative experience: EDIT: Did receive a call back telling me that it would be around $270 for a crown to be put on and that they could accept Care Credit for that visit. Then, I received a 2nd call, from the same person, a Customer Service person, not an office manager or anything, wanting to argue and dispute the review I left them. At that point, and after reading all the awful reviews, I went ahead and cancelled the appointment. I've never had a professional business call and argue about a review like that before. Have a referral from our family dentist that details what needs to be done on 1 tooth (a temporary silver crown until she's old enough for a permanent one). Scheduled an appointment and forwarded them the referral. I was assured our appointment was for the crown and that someone would call me back with an estimate for our out of pocket costs with our insurance. 3 weeks later, no call. When I call today to follow up I'm told almost $200 for xrays and a cleaning. When I explained we have a family dentist who does all this and that xrays were just done, they got very argumentative and kept trying to force the appointment. When I told them to cancel and that I'd let our dentist know what was happening and that they might want to start referring patients elsewhere, I was finally told they'd have an office manager call me back with the information I was requesting. Now we wait and see, again.

Fantastic experience: When my child broke his front teeth, I felt so defeated. The last two dentists I went to told me the only option was to pull them, and on top of that, they blamed me—saying my child’s teeth were rotting because I had breastfed too long. As a mother, that judgment was painful and discouraging. Then we found Dr. Gupta at Little Heroes Pediatric Dentistry, and everything changed. Dr. Gupta never once judged me for how I cared for my child. Instead, she treated us with compassion and understanding. She gave us multiple options, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood the choices available. The office was completely transparent with their policies and pricing, which made such a stressful situation so much easier to handle. Communicating with the staff was easy, and everyone was kind, patient, and supportive. For the first time, I felt heard, respected, and empowered to make the best decision for my child. I’m so grateful to Dr. Gupta and her wonderful team,not only for their professional care, but for treating me like a mom doing her best, and for giving my child the chance to keep his smile.

Fantastic experience: i only have one item to discuss... i scheduled a surgery procedure and my insurance cancelled so i could not afford to continue with planned procedure. i called hoping they would give back my 500 deposit they needed to even make an appointment. (which is not right ) i did not get back my deposit ... not happy with their way of business. would not recommend at all........... i want to correct my wrong in saying i would not recommend this dentistry. i was wrong with my assumption on not getting my deposit back . there was only a communication error and the issue has been resolved. no disrespect to anyone at their office because they all were super friendly. i only was concerned about my 500 dollars so i can get started in another direction hopefully with my VA rep.

Negative experience: I had a very frustrating experience with Little Heroes Pediatric Dentistry in Newcastle, Indiana. I scheduled my appointment back in May for an August visit, but since then, they have rescheduled me twice, pushing my appointment back to September. Each time I've reached out to them, I've encountered rudeness that I found unacceptable. It’s disheartening to deal with such poor customer service, especially when trying to arrange care for my child. I expected a more supportive and understanding approach, given the nature of pediatric dentistry. Unfortunately, my experience has left me feeling quite dissatisfied and frustrated. I hope they improve their communication and customer service in the future.

Negative experience: I left a review of my experience with this dental office on Saturday. Saturday night I got a call from them, berating my review. It was NOT a pleasant conversation. This morning, Sunday, I find out he completely removed the review. Be very wary about this office. And don't trust the positive reviews. If they can delete my review, they can manipulate all reviews.

Fantastic experience: My daughter daisy had a great experience here! My girl's have been coming here for years and the staff here are very respectful, from the moment you walk in till you walk out. It's always a great relief knowing I'm not only welcome here but my girls are being takin care of and are in great hands. If I've ever had a question about anything they always had the answer. I'll be coming here till my girls can't anymore. I will always appreciate what everyone does here because what you guys do matter! Keep up the amazing work!

Negative experience: The scheduling is ridiculous. I've waited over 2 hours just to get in then wait another 45 to be seen in the back. We went today and they literally had people sitting in the outside walk way. I rescheduled. They don't mind making you wait for hours. Yes the dentist is very kind and good with kids. But overall they need to not overbook their appointments. Have some respect for your patients and families.

Negative experience: WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! Worst service I have ever had with a dentist. we waited in the waiting room for 2 hours. An hour after being called back, we still hasn't seen the dentist. It took them that long to do X-rays. They took my son off the schedule without calling.

Negative experience: Place is a joke the only people that were nice was the cleaning lady and the front desk Dr. Seemed nice at first but then wouldn't let me stay in the room as I had already been in the room once with my daughter for an X-ray. Very disrespectful when I told her I will stay with my child it's her first dentist appointment and I would like to keep her from freaking out she doesn't do well with strangers .

Positive experience: I have no issue with Dr. Gupta at all. She does great with my kids. However, they should probably work on their scheduling. It’s always packed and leaving people waiting for hours. We were in there for 2 1/2 hours just waiting! The appointment was at 10 I expect my kid to be seen within 30 minutes of waiting.

Negative experience: My son went here for a filling, and they completely messed up his tooth, beyond repair. We went to a new dentist, who had no idea what they did, and the tooth had to be pulled. Awful experience, would never go back.

Negative experience: We've taken my stepson here several times and overall it's never been a great experience. Every time we've had to wait almost 20-30 minutes, only for the actual dentist to spend less than 5 whole minutes in the room. Not very personable staff, and the waiting room is a sensory nightmare. Loud, small, overcrowded, not nearly enough seating. Nothing against the dentist specifically, she seems very competent and educated; just overall not a great environment

Fantastic experience: I love Doctor Gupta, she really cares about all of the kids. The wait time and travel time is definitely worth it my kid had was so scared of Dentist before.

Negative experience: Had 2 appointments for my kiddos, one at 12:30 and the other at 1. It's now 1:30 and they still haven't been called back yet. We were even 20min early and families that came after us have been taken back. What's the point of making an appointment when they don't stick to them???

Fantastic experience: Today, my 3-year-old son was at daycare. It was a very traumatic experience when the daycare called and told me that my son ran on the playground, fell, and his teeth punctured through his lip. We quickly picked him up, called our regular pediatric dentist, and 4 other dentist offices, including my own regular dentist (plus my regular dermatologist’s office), asking for an emergency, same-day appointment for our son. Our regular pediatric dentist doesn’t work on Fridays but did call back later in the day. Out of the other four dentist offices, only Little Heroes was able to offer us an emergency, same-day appointment. So, within 2.5 hours of my son’s fall, we were seen by Dr. Gupta. We feel so lucky that our son was able to be seen so fast! Even better, the X-ray showed that all his teeth were fine, without any fractures. Dr. Gupta examined the teeth, and the teeth was not wiggling. Dr. Gupta was very good at explaining the situation, including the precautions for the next two weeks, and that we should check our son’s teeth regularly for discoloration or any bumps at the top. Dr. Gupta even told us how we should treat the wound above his lip (with a bandage and Aquaphor). She is so nice, knowledgeable, and understanding, and I’m very grateful that her office offered us the emergency appointment, even though my son was a new patient.

Fantastic experience: The best pediatric dentist! My son has gone here for a few years now and absolutely loves Dr Gupta and her staff. The office has fun games for them play while they wait. The staff is always super nice and cheerful. And Dr Gupta is over the top extraordinary with the kids. Just her presence is calming to my son! The staff and herself always explain everything, show him the tools and praise praise praise him on his bravery to build his confidence. They are well aware of the kids' emotions and feelings and go above and beyond to make the kids feel safe and confident that their feelings count! Love love love this place! Thank you to every single one of you! You're all amazing!

Fantastic experience: EDIT: My son had his follow up this past week and for the first time EVER he sat calmly with no fight!! He is 3 and has sensory issues so dental anything has always been difficult. He did amazing thanks to the amazing staff. They are so friendly and welcoming and treat the kids like their own! The more we go the more my kids feel comfortable with everyone and we look forward to continuing dental care with Dr. Gupta for years to come. Dr. Gupta and staff are amazing. Highly recommend this office. Coming from a dental background I am always a bit picker but they have met every expectation above and beyond! Both of my kids ( 3 & 5 ) have had to receive dental work while under general anesthesia and the hospital staff as well as Dr.Gupta made sure we were well informed and taken care of from start to finish. Would give them 10/10 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: Little Heroes Pediatric Dentistry is completely different than any other dentist we have been to. Dr. Gupta and her whole team are extremely patient and kind to my kiddos. I have seen Dr. Gupta do calming exercises, explain the ins and outs of what she's doing, sing songs, and tell stories to my children. Whatever they need! They always make sure I have a complete understanding of the plans and what we need to do at home to help. I feel completely confident putting my children in the hands of this dental team. They are well cared for from the moment they walk in by the front office staff, to the assistants, and the doctor. We have never had a bad experience and I would highly recommend Little Heroes to anyone that would listen! :)

Fantastic experience: Dr Gupta and her staff we’re absolutely amazing. We came from Fort Wayne to have my 2 year old daughter seen. After seeing 3 other dentist all wanting to put her under for a 2-4 hour surgery, I was on a mission to find a dentist that could treat her dental needs with out undergoing surgery. Dr Gupta and her staff offered just what I was hoping for. A solution to the dental work she needed thats less invasive. They were all amazing and so patient with her that everything went so smoothly and my daughter was so comfortable! I will gladly make the 4 hour round trip to be sure shes in good hands. I highly recommend Little Heros!!

Fantastic experience: All 3 of my kids go here. The staff is amazing from the front desk to the dentist. The dental assistants all are so kind and keep things so calm for the kids. The dentist dr. Gupta is just amazing. She is the kindest person. We make an hour drive just to come here. I tell everyone I know about this office.

Negative experience: Absolutely the worst dentist office I've been to. Got banned for "swearing at the doctor" when I know VERY well (with a witness as well) that I did not swear. I was supposed to get two teeth pulled but they fell put beforehand, and they pull two different ones out anyway. And did NOT numb me properly before pulling them out. Absolutely horrible, do not go, do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: The dentist was really nice and helpful. She seen our clients and was very understanding with them. I will definitely go back and see her. She is the sweetest dentist. I feel bad that the anesthesiologist was sick today and she had to cancel some of her appointments.

Negative experience: This place is so unorganized.. I made an appt for my son 3 months in advance to have work done this summer before school started. They called to cancel his appt one day before and rescheduled us for the following week. Chance called me the very next day to ask what time he had told me since he "misplaced his notes". Then they call the MORNING OF the new appt to cancel once again. HUGE inconvenience and months of trying to plan ahead and take off of work and they do not care one bit. There's more.. . just don't go here.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Gupta and her staff are phenomenal at what they do. I followed my instincts and had our nine month old evaluated for a lip/tongue tie. Dr. Gupta was honest, professional, caring and compassionate when she explained the best treatment and what to expect for follow up. Our baby can now eat better, stick out her tongue, form more words, has decreased gas issues, and is over all happier. I only wish we would have gone there sooner. Fantastic experience: As the CEO/owner of a company that provides services for individuals with intellectual disabilities I’ve never been to the office until today. My clients have gone for years and always get the best, individualized treatment catered to their needs and challenges. Today they took extra time and care for the person I was with! He was able to get his teeth cleaned due to the patience and diligence of the Dr. and all the staff who assisted! I’m so thankful for Little Heroes as dental care is so hard to come by for our individuals!

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to say how thankful I am to have found Dr Gupta, I was told by another pediatric dentist that my 18 month old needed to be put under general anesthesia to get his two front teeth pulled and she gave me so many other options for treatment as well as comforted me, my son & his dad throughout the process of the treatment plan I chose. Fantastic experience: Dr. Gupta is the best pediatric dentist in the east central Indiana. I have nothing but positive experiences with the doctor and the staff. They listen to the issues very carefully and provide a proper treatment plan. Scheduling an appointment is seamless. I am glad that Dr. Gupta is looking over my child's dental health.

Fantastic experience: Every time we go in there, they are amazing and they are calm with my son (who is autistic). He just had dental surgery where he had to be put to sleep for the procedure he did awesome and they made it like a game when they went back and when they put him under all the doctors and nurses in both places are amazing and care about each child individually no one procedure is the same and they adjust accordingly. They even texted the next day to make sure how he was doing and set up the follow up appointment then instead of trying to do it the day of surgery when everything is scary for him after surgery ( not what they were doing he just couldn't feel his tongue and was freaking out). They talk to Christopher the whole time even though he is non verbal. Amazing experience everytime.

Fantastic experience: VERY sweet and patient people. my 1 year old was nothing shy of a hand full and they handled the situation ease. All staff was very attentive and kind each time we have visited. The dentist herself is awesome and made taking two kids to the dentist at the same time super manageable. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic experience: The best dental experience every single time for my child. Always in and out in a timely manner. Dr. Gupta is absolutely amazing at what she does! My son feels comfortable each visit and we have yet to have any issues. The dental hygienist are so friendly and overall, all staff makes you feel welcomed from the time you enter, up until you leave! Amazing pediatric dentistry! 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t be more pleased with Little Heroes. It was definitely worth the hour drive! They took their time with my boys, didn’t rush at all, and they were patient and gentle with them. My four year old has issues due to not being able to go to the dentist before now, (insurance issues) and they addressed his dental problems without making me feel bad as a parent. My almost three year old has a tongue tie that literally NOBODY has taken me serious about since he was born, and Dr. Gupta noticed it right away without me even saying anything! She even sang to him while doing the exam to try to calm him down. Even though he hated the exam, he still loved going there, and left very happy. It’s obvious that they know kids, and they truly care about them.

Fantastic experience: I have been in the dental field for 27 years. Mostly pediatrics. I can assure you that Little Heroes Pediatric Dentistry is top notch when it comes to your child’s safety and oral health. Dr. Gupta is highly educated and very compassionate. She has dedicated many years in this community doing what she truly loves. Other dentists in the area trust and refer their patients to her for treatment that is out of their realm of practice. That alone speaks volumes. I highly trust and recommend her for all children and special needs patients….

Fantastic experience: I have 2 boys age 5 and 11. My 5 year old has sensory issues but not autistic and is speech delayed. We switched from Smile Time Kids to Little Hero's and man what a difference in not just the atmosphere but the kindness and friendliness everyone showed. My 5 year old gladly did everything they asked and it's because of how they spoke to him and were so calm. Smile Time acted frustrated and almost hateful when he was scared to do something. Their x-rays were also so much less painful than the old school ones you have to bite down on and dig into your gums. They also caught a problem that will help with speech delay when Smile Time did not. I'm so glad we made the switch!

Fantastic experience: My daughter and I just love Dr. Gupta. I took my daughter in for a check up. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. They took x-rays, cleaned her teeth and did the exam. Dr. Gupta took the time to explain what treatment was needed to do. I was very pleased with her decision. Everyone in the office was great. Highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Dr. Gupta. She is truly an amazing boss, Dr., and mom. She has given me so many opportunities from getting to meet her sweet kids to getting to work with a great staff. She has seen both my niece and my nephew for treatment. So much fun to work here. Just today I got a great big hug from one of our regular patients, love the chance I get to help these kidos out. Would absolutely recommend.

Negative experience: This is by far the most unprofessional office or business I have ever experienced in my life, the first red flag I endured was the nearly 3 hour wait beyond the time of appointment, at which point I asked the other parents if they’d ever seen it this bad before, they replied that it was like that every time and normally they’d had to check in and then go have lunch, AND THEN COME BACK AND WAIT LONGER! The second red flag was them sending a 2 year old baby girl out the door like she was completely inebriated far beyond the reasonable use of laughing gas especially for just a cleaning which is what the mother said her little girl was at the appointment for. The third and final flag was the total denichild calm and collected for the work to be done and the repetitive statement that only one parent could be present because any extra presence in the room eif only idle observation and attendance where the child could see the other parent sitting in the corner just for reassurance and comfort was FAR too distracting for the fly by night pediatric dentist Dr. Gupta who was ever so bound and determined to accommodate any needed comfort or calming with EXTRA laughing gas while the other parent waited in the lobby out of the child’s line of sight or ability to hear comforting words from. Totally blew my mind to meet someone who was in such a place of profound effect on children who was so rude and uncaring as well as chemically reliant. Absolutely unbelievable and inconceivable.

I am overly satisfied w their care passion and support not only for their patients but us parents as well. I feel guilty for waiting a year to make the switch to them. Fantastic experience: My 5 year old needed fillings and some other stuff so he needed surgery. His dentist was was amazing, she went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable and not scared, she even contacted me, since I couldn't be there, to make sure if I had and questions or concerns, she even contacted me the next day to check on him to make sure of how he was doing. Any time my kids have an appointment they get the same treatment. This place is awesome and all about the kids being comfortable while at the dentist office.

Fantastic experience: Little Heroes is wonderful and I cannot recommend them enough! Our 15 month old fell and chipped a tooth. They got us in same day, sang to him, gave him toys, made sure we knew exactly what was happening and made him as comfortable as possible. We will stay with them as long as we can!

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience. They made decisions for my son that were best for his health rather than what's best for their pocket. I had so many issues with pediatric dentists all over Indianapolis who wanted to schedule multiple appointments to do temporary work, literally scheduling one filling at a time per week then referring somewhere else for a single tooth for us to be rescheduled multiple times for billing issues to the point where my son ended up needing extractions. Little heros really made the nightmare go away. Add-on my son has Medicaid. Finding good care is difficult at best. I would recommend Little Heros to anyone with a child seeking dental care. They were very friendly, answered all my questions, were thorough, discussed all the options and have movies playing in all the rooms for kids to focus on. I've read some of the bad reviews and it sounds to me like those people may have not been paying attention when they were being told what needed to happen for their child or perhaps they did have a bad experience but our experience was amazing.

Negative experience: Never had any form of Doctor take my concerns about my kid as poorly as this team did. Thankfully she has an amazing dentist now Rector! Highly highly DO NOT recommend Little Heroes! Rude, & disrespectful doctor and staff.

Negative experience: 0/5 Stars if possible, this place is a complete waste of your time. We have had multiple appointments set with no regard to our time. They will have you waiting for over 30 minutes past your appointment time. I’m talking a scheduled appointment, not a walk-in. This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable for a business that will schedule a specific time to see you. My time is also valuable and if you value your time, don’t ever give this place any of your business. After waiting 30 minutes and bringing up the concern of waiting the only thing we got was the front desk staff apologizing and saying he knows that this happens all the time. This is clearly a problem and I will be using another provider that can actually accommodate my child at the set appointment time.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with everyone we were interacting with, the kids were not scared and felt safe. They can't wait for the next appointment. The boys love the staff and the activities plus all the TV time throughout the facility a great place to take your kids and they don't mind going back to the Dentist at all when you tell them they have an appointment. Thank you for being so patient and understanding, friendly to our grandsons ❤

Negative experience: I took my 5 year old little girl in on 10/31/22 as our regular dentist said she had a few cavities and she needed to see a pediatric dentist. The service was nice at this point. They took x-rays and I was told she needed 3 caps and multiple fillings. This was a major shock to me as our regular (and trusted) dentist did not mention this many issues. I was very emotional, feeling like an awful parent for not knowing she was this big of a mess. They took full advantage of that. I was rushed to sign paperwork and write a check for almost $800 after insurance. The began working on my daughter and she became scared, so the dentist suggested we stop and sedate her. I agreed, no reason to scare her. The appointment was set for 11/10. I was then told she had an infection and needed antibiotics. Odd since we started working on her teeth and now all of a sudden she has an infection, if that was true we could have made her very sick getting the infection in her blood. I go the following morning to get the medicine and it was over $200. I told the pharmacist I can't afford that, and they began calling the dentist. The secretary told the pharmacy the doctor was in surgery, though I was told she just doesn't work on Tuesday or Thursdays, so the lies are starting to come to light. I call the dentist and they tell me to go to CVS instead of Walmart. so I do, and these pills are HUGE. For an adult. Even cut in half there is no way a 5 year old is taking that. I called my family doctor and he agreed, do not give those to your child. So at this point we decide to get a second opinion before moving forward. I called 11/2 and told them I wanted to pay the $400 I owe from what was done 10/31 and get copies of all information. The secretary said he'd have to talk to the dentist before doing that. Apparently decisions about my money and my child are no longer up to me. He would call me back. No call back so I called my bank and cancelled the check. I knew I wouldn't get my money back. I waited 3 weeks for a bill to come or something from these people, and have received nothing. I was given no receipt for the check I wrote the day of the visit, so I have NOTHING from these people. I called 11/23 to pay the $400 I owe again and get my daughters info, I'm transferred to the billing lady and she asked what kind of card, no total given. I told her I wanted to know how much before giving my info, she told me over $600! I told her that was incorrect I owe a little under $400, she said I owed $250 for cancelling the appointment, keep in mind I cancelled a week before the next appointment. I told her I wanted all information I signed and my daughter's x-rays, the billing lady then hung up on me. I sent a nicely worded email directly after this call, with no reply still today (11/29). These people are breaking the law by keeping my daughter's medical information, and I have contacted the Indiana Attorney General. DO NOT take your children here, they are crooks and prey on those who are easy to take advantage of. I saw the Facebook post early 2022 about this dentist doing a lot of the same things that happened to me to another family, and gave her a shot anyway. Jokes on me huh! Update: the day after I posted this review here, Yelp, and Facebook, I received a copy of the account statement and the x-rays taken. The account statement was not the amount I was told at the office 10/31, but that could be due to insurance paying more then expected. It did include a $25 returned check fee, which could've been avoided if they'd let me pay what was actually due, so that is laughable. I have yet to receive copies of anything they had me sign, so still very sketchy there. Why haven't those "demands" (doctors words) been met? The email I received stated "our employees are trained to maintain a respectful and safe environment, and will not engage with someone using profanity or abusive language over the phone for the sake of accepting a payment." So apparently me telling the billing lady to stop interrupting me is abusive. This entire situation is crazy.

Fantastic experience: Both of my children are seen at Little Heroes. Dr Gupta and her team do a fantastic job communicating, caring for, and treating kiddos. The office is centered around children and both of my boys enjoy their appointments. I'm very particular about providers, but I'm so happy we found them.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing. My oldest has autism and my youngest is a month old. The have a sensory wall and projector pointed to the floor. My kiddo cannot sit still and they had absolutely no issue with him jumping and playing. My fiancé had to go back with my oldest due to only one adult being allowed in the room and I could hear him screaming. They checked on me three times (within a 30 minute window) to update me on my oldest child’s experience, gave me ice water, and even took a picture to show me that my son had calmed down. They slowly introduced themselves to my oldest, letting him guide the appointment, they didn’t force him into the chair, and did their best to make him feel comfortable. They also took care of my youngest child’s lip tie really quickly and treated my child so well too. I was insanely nervous to go due to my child having autism and hating things in or around the mouth. I would and have most definitely recommend this dentist to others, especially parents of special needs children.

Fantastic experience: they made my daughter feel 100% comfortable and confident! What I thought was going to be an extremely rough day has turned out to be fairly easy breezy lemon squeezy so far. I can't thank them enough, my 6 year old daughter had to have some extremely invasive work done. They took the time to not only explain why, when, how but they also helped me with the best financial decisions we could make considering we are uninsured. I will be telling everyone I know with little kids that this is the place and to not put it off like I did thinking that it would be too costly and too scary because this was literally easier than going to her regular pediatrician visits.
