Negative experience: The nurse asked to many questions that's has nothing to do with health. For instance do you talk to family members are you retired. make it make sense.

Fantastic experience: I think Chelsea Smith is a fantastic nurse practitioner who listens to you and is always giving you professional advice that is very helpful. She has great bedside manner that makes you feel very comfortable in her presence. The best take away for me is having a healthcare provider that has never rushed me from any of my visits. I love having her as my healthcare provider. Also the staff is amazing and pleasant to be around. They are courteous and friendly! A special shout out to Monica and Megan on my last visit, they made me feel like family and I appreciate them for their conversations and most of all, being transparent. Overall, the facility is a great place to get your healthcare needs taken care of in order to ensure that you live a healthy life.

Positive experience: I absolutely love that it is close to my home and they have the BEST nurse I have ever had the pleasure of taking care of me, she is EVERYTHING a nurse should be, she's kind, well knowledgeable, she's gentle when drawing blood, the only one that has ever been able to find my vein without the machine AND she never leaves a bruse in all my 50 years on this earth Mrs. Monica I appreciate your kindness nd knowledgeable skill if it wasn't for u I would of found somewhere else to go. That brings me to the only con I hav about this place I was 10 min early not one time did I EVER see any other patient so WHY did it take me an hour nd 20 min to get one tube of blood drawn nd a 5 min conversion with Mrs Kelly who by the way is a very pleasant Dr and byno means was it Mrs Monica's fault let me make that absolutely clear otherwise it's a great place to b seen.

Fantastic experience: Cathy was great. Her concerns are beyond the surface. The care and time given from CVHS has kept me here for years. Their expertise in many fields amazes me. My blood pressure used to average 145/80 and they've managed to bring it down to an average of 120/70 and has been that low for almost 4 years now. Thank you team for caring.

Fantastic experience: Because my doctors office did not have any open appointments I had my first telehealth appointment online. The nurse from CVHS Charles City Virginia called and took all of my vitals. She was very nice. She was very attentive and spoke to me with a pleasant voice and listen to everything I had to say. I then had a call from Doctor Kathy Kelly. She was a very good doctor listened to everything I had to say and subscribe me medication’s to take care of my seasonal allergies and sinus infection. I was very impressed. For this being my first attempt at a Tele health appointment from a doctor’s office, I would very much recommend it to any patient who is not able to get to the doctor. Very good experience.

Fantastic experience: I rarely write reviews, but I really wanted to say a few things about CVHS Charles City. From my first phone call, to my first visit, to coming back for labs, I've had nothing but really positive experiences. The people who work here have been super kind and talk to me like a real person and not just a patient. They remembered who I was, asked how my husband was doing, and I honestly can't say enough good things about the nurse. She made me laugh and helped me stay calm when I had to get blood drawn for tests. My new FNP (Chelsea Smith) took time to go over my health concerns and was very thorough in her testing/treatment plan options. I didn't feel rushed out. Best experience I've ever had with a doctor's office! Keep up the awesome work!

Fantastic experience: This was a telehealth visit and I couldn't be more pleased. Cathy Kelly gave me her full attention even with being at home. Once learning my situation she quickly made a plan. Advising an ER visit, she called ahead to ensure I would not be sitting in the waiting room. She gave me her personal number to keep her posted. You just don't get this type of care these day. I am beyond happy with my choice in making this my office and Cathy Kelly my primary.
