Fantastic experience: I was looking for a new dentist as I was unhappy with the dentist that took over for my retired dentist. I was referred to Shunga Family Dental Care. They were wonderful to get me in so quickly due to cancellations. I had a thorough examination and cleaning and I am so pleased with Dr. Naeger. She explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable with my treatment plan. I am grateful I have found my new dentist. Also recommended to my daughter, who is now a new patient! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Erica was a very good hygienist and fun to visit with. There was a suspicious spot at the base of a tooth which she x-rayed and had Dr. Hannah look at it. The x-ray did not show a cavity, and I appreciated the extra care.

Fantastic experience: Long story short, I knew I was going to be going in to get some news I didn’t want to hear on the state of my teeth. I’ve had an avoidance from dentists for a long time due to traumatic experiences as a kid and teen. When I say everyone I met on my first visit was SO kind, I genuinely mean so. I didn’t feel uncomfortable. I didn’t feel judgement. I didn’t feel like just another patient. Everyone explained everything in an authentic, kind manner and answered any questions I had with respect. I was shocked as I’ve never experienced that. I was reassured multiple times that I wasn’t alone, as when having dental issues and not wanting to go to the dentist, you can have a certain mental state. A huge thanks to Shunga Family Dental.Will highly recommend to anyone.

She calmed me down, explained all the options, proceeded to do as much as she could to alleviate my situation and gave me a referral to a specialist. Fantastic experience: Going to the dentist is not one of my favorite places to go, but I will say that the staff and Dr. Hannah made my visit a comfortable experience. Explanations of services rendered and the plan for the future were totally understandable. Their concern and treatment methods were of the utmost professional standards.

Positive experience: The regular dental hygienist wasn’t there and a nice lady was substituting but she had a bad tremor in her hand (which she explained to me) but it was very uncomfortable in my mouth. Im not sure my cleaning was as effective with her using just one hand at times and with her using the hand with the tremor holding the mirror.

Tooth be told, she has a smile that truly lights up the entire room—it’s easily the brightest one in the building. After a quick 'analyze' of my pearly whites, she officially dubbed me her 'easiest cleaning of the day,' which is basically the dental equivalent of winning an Oscar. My molar-ale has never been higher, and I’m filling pretty fantastic about my smile now. Negative experience: Place notified us within 40 minutes of closing and said if we don’t pay a bill by the end of today, it will be sent to collections, never got said bill. They have our address but not sure why we didn't receive it. The whole situation does not sit well with me at all. I would recommend anywhere but here.

Everyone has great communication skills they tell you what you need and what they're doing every step of the way they work with you to set up payment plans if need be. She and her staff are very responsive as recently I had a dental emergency on a weekend and I was in the office Monday morning. If you have any concerns about dental anxiety I encourage you to go there they make sure you are comfortable and pain free.

Negative experience: Yesterday I had to wait 15 minutes for my appointment. It was supposed to be for a cleaning, But she took most of the time getting numbers. The hygienist was very ,very slow and deliberate -way too slow. Please don't put me with her again.
